Thanks! This worked for my 2002 Suburban. This was frustrating me for several years. I've tried a couple of other suggested methods that I found in other places and videos but those were not correct.
How do you get your doors to lock when you throw it into drive or and park this video was helpful on the other part of it locking or setting it to lock I tried what you said and mine lock when I drive for 10 mph or 15 is when my doors lock. I would also like to see that other video on the heated seats and hook up the switches
I kept trying to get into my Silverado on the passengers side only to find it locked and had to keep unlocking it by walking around to the other side. Thank you for this!
I have a 2011 Chevy Avalanche, and love it until I put it in park and walk to the opposite side to open a door and it is locked! Unfortunately, for safety issues according to GM this is how it is, I tried all of these techniques and nothing worked. A Seat Belt is a Safety device, and should be my choice how to manage locking systems, right?
Mine too. It seems like we might have aftermarket antitheft added into our systems and that bypasses chevys factory settings, i cant find ANYWHERE how to undo that and make it stop LOCKING ME OUT with the vehicle running... ready to get RID of this cursed truck

This info is also in your owners manual. I was stuck behind a slow old lady in the bank drive thru and got bored. Mine are now lock in gear and do not unlock in park.
Endless... I found that trying to get my headlights to turn on when I hit the remote to unlock. I couldnt find that. So if you find that info, it would greatly be appreciated. I replaced my interior lights and the puddle lights (side mirrors) with LED. But I kinda want the headlights to turn on too. Thanks bud. Keep up the great content.

Would this work on a 2000 my truck only unlocks when you pull the key out and I want it to unlock when in park and when I put it in drive it locks

How do you do it in a base model that has no Lock/Unlock. I do the sequence and it activates it but I don't see a way to set it.

2x “lock” disables the automatic sequence. 1x lock and 3x unlock does the auto-lock, no unlock from part 3 of your video.

it doesn't work for silverado 2008. where can i find it?
Any truck that's 2003+ is all going to be done from the steering wheel controls. This method only works with 00-02
