I'm really glad to hear tat you are putting in the work. Now tell me something....when you read the bible , after having read those other books, doesn't it just make much more sense now? It does for me, and I am so grateful! I am no longer waiting for a secret rapture, but praying for the Gospel to cover the earth like grass!!
In my youth, I struggled with the pre-mil perspective, then came to a peaceful, contented amil understanding. But when I finally gave postmil a chance through Doug's teaching, I unexpectedly, and for the first time, found my heart leap for joy at an eschatalogical discussion. Never before has eschatology brought me tearfully to my knees. Praise God!
Brothers, the Lord showed me 2 months ago, an extraordinary vision, regarding the DAY OF THE LORD. I saw myself outside, among the people, and suddenly, an immense light, which encompassed everything, coming from above, of an unimaginable force and power, hit us unexpectedly. At that moment, I didn't have time for anything, I just managed to shout: OH MY GOD! I woke up instantly, and I heard a voice in my head (I knew it was the Lord), which told me: GOAL! And then I told him, remembering that in the BIBLE, it is written that the Lord's Day is a day of great auspiciousness, as it has never been before and will never be again, and I asked Him if this is what we must do, when we see this light. The LORD answered me that that LIGHT is HIM and that our GOAL from that moment, for salvation, is to CRY FOR HIM!! What I can tell you, after this experience, is that the ONLY thing we need is FAITH in the LORD. Believe me, nothing will save us on that day, except HIM! Glory to our Lord! AMEN!!!!!
Doug says that we're now living in the NH and NE, but other postmils like Dennis Darville say that the NH and NE is in the future, after the second coming of Christ, the eternal state.
@@danielespejo375 You are wrong, I listened to several interviews and talks with Doug and he clearly believes that we are NOW living in the new heavens and new earth. Some interesting facts of the Temple and how the temple is described by the contemporary people like Josephus. The way is the outer court. The truth is the inner court. The holy of Holies is the called the heaven. That’s why in the book of revelation it says there is no sea. When Jesus spoke about heaven and earth, he actually mentioned it twice. First in Matthew 5. He also said it here. Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Look at the preamble of the chapter. Matthew 24:1-2 Jesus left the TEMPLE and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” That’s how “heaven and earth” will pass away. Great sermon; thanks for posting it. While I do not expect an answer here, if all of these verse are not about the Second Coming but rather the transition between the Old and New Heavens/Earth, in some sense, then basically, all that we have left is the simple fact of the Lord's return. Is it not possible, that these verses are pointing to 70AD which in turn, may well be a picture of what will happen at the very end of time?
Certainly, I think most post millennialist (or at least Kenneth gentry) would say that the Judgement coming in 70AD is typological of the Bodily Second coming of Christ.
I might have spaced out while listening, but does Doug ever make mention of Isaiah 65:20, namely, "no more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days". This doesn't sound like something typological but rather seems to be speaking of a time of prosperous health, same with "for the young man shall die a hundred years old". Living to 100 happens, sure, but arguably it's not very common. If anything, lives seem to be less healthier and shorter currently, even with advances in health and medicine.

King James Version ... “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, to keep himself unspotted from the world.” Does anyone really believe Christianity is unspotted from the world? Restore.
not so good......sad
I think this Pastor is from the occult world
It is not atoll. All that about dispensationalism teaching is indeed occult heresy that is very harmful for all Christianity.1Kor.2:13-14
Occults don’t glorify Yah at every turn, careful how you label people. Post mil and pre mil are neither from the occult.
@ Sharon 5 where do you live I would like to discuss the magnificent Christian Doctor Douglass Wilson with you
Heretical teaching and wishful thinking at best. Read the Bible for yourself!
Wow, you’re mixed up
