This sermon connects the Old and New Testaments and the covenants. It also nullifies Dispensational doctrines that claimed that God saved differently in the Old and New Testaments. There was always only one way to be saved, since the fall; by the grace of God via faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God for such clear biblical teaching!

You have done well. Stay away from Prince.
I respect both Prince and Sproul and follow them both. I depart from Sproul where he disallows the works of the Holy Spirit in today's church. Do not listen to the naysayers concerning Prince. They cannot handle the goodness of God in prosperity or healing or prophesies or tongues. They deny these things because they've yet to experience them nor is it likely they will because in their theology it can't happen.
I always come back to this. Gives me chills every time

Every sermon never fails to touch the mark of excellence, not the impact that "drives" us to Christ, as Sproul mentions here "the dark night of the soul"... May many be saved by these marvellous endeavours of this great soul.

PRAISE GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, FOREVER! This sanctified, Spirit-led teaching is absolutely beautiful and completely TRUTH, in our LORD GOD, Jesus Christ, Magnificently Holy Name! And, I know this even though I have never been a Calvinist or Arminianist or and other "ist" in all my 35 awesome year IN Christ, because such titles have nothing whatsoever to do with my LORD GOD'S Magnificent, Sanctifing TRUTH! Please help. I believe in my heart that I am of God and that in my day to day I profess to share the gospel as I know Him. I am in my forth year of salvation yet still have sudden bouts of torrential sin which I seem not to overcome yet I know so much .
I know in my heart what I desire is of God. My own life has with it desires to be met by God. Honestly I feel as though I am not having with me the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I really don't see much change in self yet I feel so aware and seem to understand scripture when I read through it.
I need an affirmation from God and though I know that faith ought to prevail , I feel as though I am doing poorly.
How do I encounter deeper. I am so thirsty yet I've been asking for that baptism of the Holy Spirit ! I want a God-only move ! I am at that periphery and dissatisfied...

Serious question: the faith of Abraham that God counted for righteousness, was faith in the promise of descendants. How is that the gospel?
I've always wondered about that. We are not saved for merely believing God, we are saved by faith in Christ and His atoning sacrifice.
Galatians ch3:7-22
God announced the gospel in advance to Abraham about His seed (Christ). We are today knowing this has been fulfilled.

God does not seal you with a sacraments those are man-made and there's good disputation to dispute sacraments as an adding of the commands. Christ never said the words they say in the sacrament therefore they have added to the commands and therefore according to God's recorded words such as from Samuel you have added to the command of God and therefore you are cut away.
You have not obeyed the commands of God and therefore you are cut away.
It is the ten commands that are the still of righteousness for the believers of God.
And this is about where you would call legalism and I say to you will you make it to heaven not adhering to God's word when Adam was kicked out of heaven not adhering to God's word his commands.
And the commands are not working they are a rest. They are keeping another doing they are trusting in God and not in self.
