I just got mines and it works! But I have a question… I don’t want to do the whole good by hand… can I use a polisher ? If so a Terry cloth pad ? Or orange pad?
How long does the shine last it doesn't fade away does it? Kinda like when u spray WD 40 on something and it gets shiny but then soon fades?? And those white parts of that hood looked like the clear had started to feather off... Will it work on even those whiter sections of that hood too, or does it just around the edges of the white areas where the clear hadn't started to pull off yet? I'm just wondering why I haven't seen any other polisher's that could permanently fix those white spots in a paint job like that. It's crazy that nobody else has figured it out before or even "after" this stuff come out! I swear it's gotta be a complete snake oil... But it would be nice if u would completely curb my doubts on this if u could ya know.
I really appreciate this !! I'm so glad I found you! You explain things so well. Just wondering if you know why going up and down is necessary instead of round in circles. You also mentioned being able to use a polisher. The only polishers I know of are orbital polishers.
Hi Jonerri From Lukat detail Yup you can use our products and get the same results by hand or machine. Got more questions call us at 505-304-8652 Get your kit today at our website at lukatdetail.com Thank you for inquiring Happy new year!
I have the same problem on the area in front of the sunroof, above the windshield on my '13 CR-V here in Texas. Same paint state and I had two different opinions that the clear coat already failed and its down to the paint but it's not flaking.. yet. Tried Meguiars Ultimate compound by hand on one area. It reduced it slightly Would this work if the paint is a little rubbed off (assuming I used it by hand with a thick applicator pad)?
Yup This works like magic on single stage base coats pre 1988 paint jobs can be polished cleaned back to almost perfect with with our Lukat Fix It Old Paint Cleaning Polish - AKA - Color and Gloss Restorer Polish The newer clear coats erode and become thinner as they age so you got less to work with but you still bring them back The old base coats last far longer so when you polish clean them you got a lot more to work with You can order anytime at our website just click here 👉🏽 lukatdetail.com
Hi , My name is Amir I living in Iran I can't buy your commodity because I living in Iran How to get buy your commodity ? Do you have another agency in another country? orr a way to make this product
Maybe I will get a response. Top of my door mirrors perfectly smooth. No dead clearcoat or peeling etc. In certain light looks great. But it the right type of light you see super fine scratches and cloudy haze. Yes I have used rubbing compounds, wax cleaner wax etc over the years. It ( MAY ) making it a bit better for a short period of months making it wee harder to see the problem. But obviously the haze and scratch look is still there. Not tried clay bar etc. What you don't show in your videos is seriously close up views of areas you did. So would I get the same result as what I get doing and using what I have done in past. And my haze and scratching is harder to see because it's a silver metallic mist paint.

Hi Steve From Lukat Detail If you bought our products they are guarantied to work you can call us at 505-304-8652 Please remember waxing and polishing are two different things. We use our products for polish cleaning = (refurbishing-restoring-deep cleaning) there are many types of paint jobs. The older paint jobs are single stage color base coats preblended with a pigment hardener and a shine or gloss these paint jobs could last as long as 30 to 70 years and could easily be repolished to a high shine with an a typical rubbing compound. Just go to your local junkyard and look at the old paint jobs and see for yourself. The more modern paint jobs are a combination primer and color, called a color basecoat with a top coat of clear glossy transparent paint these newer paint jobs are made to last at up to 15 years. "Why you see paint coming off" If your working on an old single stage base coat then it is totally normal for you to see color coming off because your polishing not waxing your removing the oxidized patina. "This is the color you see coming off" This is the oxidized paint directly underneath is the good hard paint which is still hard and shiny. If your working on a more modern paint job with a clear coat you will not see any paint coming off except for the areas where the clear coat has eroded completely off. Because they don't put a lot of hardener and shine in the actual pigment (color basecoat) this will oxidized quickly. So the color you see coming off is the oxidized color basecoat. We recommend that you do a small controlled area, Rub the Lukat Fix It Polish in an up and down manner over area to be cleaned while applying very light pressure polish clean this area till the paint becomes shiny and clear once again. always clean a small area till perfectly cleaned so as to gage how much of an area can be cleaned effectively Hope this helps got questions just call us at 505-304-8652 thank you
@@lukatfixit8298 Ok thanks, I have a 2014 dark silver tacoma so this would be a combination primer and color, called a color basecoat with a top coat of clear glossy transparent paint, right?
Will this work on a carbon fiber hood. My problem is sun damage which caused the hood to get hazey white spots all over. I sanded it and added a new clear coat but there is over spray and I might just redo the whole hood with sanding and then use this stuff for my first layer IF it can be used on it
@@pepejohnson2811 well obviously the clear coat wasn’t great if it has sun damage badly cause I know for sure I waxed it superbly every time I would wash it lmao
You can "clean" damaged Clear coat. It's literally damaged and the layer of clear coat are fading. You have to wet sand the clear coat off and re clear coat it and hope the paint isn't also damaged. Probably why you used a junkyard car and not your own

You remove the oxidation and contamination. It’s called paint correction and it’s very easy to do. First do a chemical decontamination followed by clay bar. Then polish the car. This brings back the shine to your car. Plenty of videos in here regarding how to detail your car or how to do paint correction. I did my car with compound and polish. Looks brand new.

I was little skeptical but needed a product like this in my detailing Arsenal and let me tell you that thing works the beauty about it I found out by mistakes that is even it will remove tough stains and ones from Red Dirt that normal cleaning wouldn't get off even degreaser wouldn't work and that cleaner lukatfixit it takes those though stains right off in seconds, the product is amazing don't just take my word for it try it yourself and for the price I paid and got two bottles of the cleaner and a bottle of the sealer . Stuff great , don't just take my word for it, try for yourself... 💯 When u get the cleaner it's real liquidy but that's how the product is. Don't be discouraged like I was and thought I got scammed.🤙

Although I am skeptical as this is a product ad, most people (myself included) use mechanical polishing / buffing tools to do this sort of thing. I have absolutely done an entire SUV by hand because I needed new pads and bonnets, so it is doable, but 99% of people doing this are using power tools. It goes about 50x faster. If you had to only do your headlights, it's entirely doable by hand and safer because they are not as hard as the paint on your car.
@@cnovalles73 Haha totally! For absolutely ruined paint I use a rotary attachment for a power drill. Or, if you have a variable speed angle grinder, you can use that too with a proper attachment. If you have normal paint that isn't 20+ years old and thrashed, you can just use a normal orbital polisher. The price really does reflect the quality of these polishers. Though, if you're just trying to make your paint shiny again and it's not ruined, just kind of faded, then you can use any polisher. I use Turtle Wax polishing compound but honestly they're all mostly the same. If you're unsure which to get or where to go check out your local auto parts store and ask them what you should use, because they can take a look at what your paint is looking like. :P
@@KenzertYT well it's a 16 year old car with clear coat failure in some spots and scratches EVERYWHERE else! 🤦🏻♂️ For now I'm just trying to get rid of some scratches and protect what's left of the paint until I can afford to get it repainted bumper to bumper.
@@cnovalles73 polish really helps! If the clear coat is failing its porous. That means garbage from the road and weather can hang out in the pores of the oxidized clearcoat. What I'll do sometimes if I know its gonna be a while before respray, is aggressively polish that area to bring the paint in that area to a smooth finish again. Essentially flattening out and cleaning that paint. If the clear becomes porous or completely rots off, the color coat and then primer is probably also now porous. Polish is kind of the answer there, until respray of course:P for best results wet sand from 1k to 2k, then polish. Then you honestly might be able to get away with just clear being added. It really depends! But it will be safer until the new paint if you do those steps. It's worked really well for my projects. None of my cars are newer than 20 years old LOL

Imagine seeing a bunch of hoods in a junk yard all partly cleaned...
Lmao 😂
Thank you!!! I'll buy this product immediately!!! Wonderful!!!!
I just got mines and it works! But I have a question… I don’t want to do the whole good by hand… can I use a polisher ? If so a Terry cloth pad ? Or orange pad?
It says it right in the video you can use by hand or machine
@@tonykeorajavongsay4532 but not with a rotary polisher, it should be a dual action polisher?
Don't worry about it, just order some and see if it really works!
I really appreciate this !! I'm so glad I found you! You explain things so well. Just wondering if you know why going up and down is necessary instead of round in circles. You also mentioned being able to use a polisher. The only polishers I know of are orbital polishers.

Does this work if the clear coat is peeling?
How long does one treatment last?
A good while but eventually it will go back to that state even with the head lights, good way to go is to wet sand and re clear the panel
Looks like freaking hard work.
Just subscribed. Thank you! To the point no BS
You could then spray 2K clear over the polished area, right?
appreciate this compadre
If I see white on my nautical blue paint on my 2011 Corolla, does that means the paint and clear coat is all gone?
Can you use it on car that doesn't need it for additional protecting
Looks like some good stuff 👌🏾
Is it safe for single stage paints?
Looks luke a great product
Yup
This works like magic on single stage base coats pre 1988 paint jobs can be polished cleaned back to almost perfect with with our Lukat Fix It Old Paint Cleaning Polish - AKA - Color and Gloss Restorer Polish
The newer clear coats erode and become thinner as they age so you got less to work with but you still bring them back
The old base coats last far longer so when you polish clean them you got a lot more to work with

Hi , My name is Amir
I living in Iran
I can't buy your commodity because I living in Iran
How to get buy your commodity ?

Please remember waxing and polishing are two different things. We recommend that you do a small controlled area, Rub the Lukat Fix It Polish in an up and down manner over area to be cleaned while applying very light pressure polish clean this area till the paint becomes shiny and clear once again. always clean a small area till perfectly cleaned so as to gage how much of an area can be cleaned effectively
Hope this helps got questions just call us at 505-304-8652 thank you

Will this work on a carbon fiber hood. My problem is sun damage which caused the hood to get hazey white spots all over. I sanded it and added a new clear coat but there is over spray and I might just redo the whole hood with sanding and then use this stuff for my first layer IF it can be used on it
Carbon fiber hoods are clear coated over just like a regular paint job.
Probably why you used a junkyard car and not your own
Would it work okay for the headlights though?
But an oxidised paint is NOT dirty, it's damaged so how will cleaning repair the "damage"?

If you have a classic car with an original single-stage paint job with an oxidized chalky patina or a ruff textured patina on an old metallic single-stage base coat? Then this is the stuff to bring it back.
Step Two: Use the Lukat Ez Sealer Wax to preserve and protect the finish.
Apply like a regular wax let dry and cure for about ten to twenty minutes then remove.
Remember these are old paint restorer products there made to bring back your paint to a better state. After these two simple steps, the paint job will be smooth clean, and shiny once more now you are able to use any over-the-counter wax to enhance the finish.
Special disclaimer for a delaminated clear coat,
( WE CONSIDER DELAMINATING CLEARCOATS AS DESTROYED PAINT JOBS ) If your car's clear coat is eroding or peeling the very best thing to do is simply repaint it. Once the clear coat comes off it's not coming back.
BUT IN THE MEANTIME, you can use our products to help beautify the car's paint job, use the Lukat Fix it Color and Gloss Restorer Polish to polish clean back the remaining color and gloss on the good remaining clear coat and polish clean back the shine on the good remaining color base coat. Feather back the crumbling edges preferably with a kitchen scouring pad or sandpaper 400 to 600 grit. If you want to know more simply call us if we don't answer text us and we will get back to you. Thank You.

So you wouldn't just reapply more clear coat?
Can't you do the same with Malco Super Heavy compound like this.
This is exactly what this product is... COMPOUND!!
Can I wax after using “Lukat”
Yup infact you should

These were old daewoos sold under Suzuki and helped kill the brand in America .
👍
Sorry I bought this
Did it do what it claimed to do ?
That's a LOT of rubbing for one spot - doing a whole car must be exhausting!
@@KenzertYT thank you! This is all I'm sayin 🤷🏻♂️. I feel like I'd dislocate a shoulder before I finish even one fender doing it this way.
I got questions but never get a reply
