What an underated show, i still believe the show had bad juju after Barbara Colby's untimely death, that poor lady was shot to death as she left with a fellow instructor, they both taught Acting classes at night, as they left for the night, both were gunned down in the parking lot. She had just filmed the 3rd Episode of Phyllis, she didn't live to see it air. The murders of the two, are still unsolved till this day. While Miss Colby died instantly from her gunshot wound, the other victim lived long enough to tell the police his account of the incident. He died shortly after giving his testimony.

And then Judith Lowry dying didn’t help. Had the show went on, Jane Rose would have died in 1979.
Though it was sad that they had to recast Julie, I think they should have kept the character on. Leo, no, but Julie, yes.
