never run away from a snake. Black mambas are much faster than people and are very aggressive. Rattlesnakes strike faster than you could put your foot on the ground. And if you find a snake resting other snakes might be around too so running might take you to another snake which would be threatened by you and because you are running it would be too late to stop and you will get bitten. So dont run just walk away calmly and dont make any sudden movements
There are so many exceptions to the "rules" they gave. Thankfully they mentioned that you shouldn't rely on these, but people tend to ignore this advice, see a snake with a large head and assume it's venomous or a snake with round pupils and assume it's nonvenomous. Both are wildly inaccurate means of identifying. As a hobbyist herpetologist, we always advise to keep your distance from snakes, and leave identifying snakes to knowledgable hobbyists and professionals. There aren't any surefire or easy ways to identify snakes. If you leave them alone, you're so much safer than if you were to harass them and try to ID them. Snakes are defensive, not aggressive animals, and will NOT chase you or bite you if you don't threaten them, so watch your step and leave them alone. If you want to move a snake, find a relocator or spray it with a garden hose. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have or direct you to credible resources.

Not to be confused, but the term poisonous is different from venomous. Cause when you bite the snake (lol) and you fall ill, it's poisonous. And if the snake bites you and you fall ill, then it's venomous.
Light Colored snakes are very venomous like the snake that they/we call the "Rainbow Snake" I actually learned this from Cayote Peterson, his channel is called "BRAVE WILDERNESS" just letting you know if you want to visit his channel 😊😊😊

If you look at it and find it is non venomous "oh boy ! Lets stand here and wait for it to come because it won't be poisonous I have seen the brightside video" The next moment: why are my lips turning blue after its bite?
Learn from the experience ive been through : I got down from 1 - 1.5 meter high rock to the grown below, and looked back at it. There was a venomous middle-eastern viper in front of me, lurking inside that same rock. I could see his whole body but not its head. It was 1-2 feet away from me in eye-level so i was frozen. Luckily nothing happened and it didnt bite me straight in the face. Probably didnt notice me untill i quickly grabbed my feet and jumped out. U can never be ready - so at least try your best and dont feel too lucky. In nature - always look where youre gonna step, at least a 1-2 meter radius around you. Stay safe yall 💙

Thx for this advice The doesn’t help at all
Mark Ologban then why you here if ya going to hate...?
Ikr literally most of the information was untrue
As long as I am far enough, I run 🏃♀️ away from snakes 🐍
My version. Just get the gun out. Not that hard.
You are wrong on bottom scales. Double tow on poisonous.
Nancy Mcternan *venomous only a few snakes are poisonous
I have a pet snake also I watched all the way to the end
So hes asking us to observe the snake for like a minute before running away right
The serpent on the forehead of a hieroglyphic means its a pharaoh... Symbol of victory over snakes...
Not to be confused, but the term poisonous is different from venomous.
Cause when you bite the snake (lol) and you fall ill, it's poisonous. And if the snake bites you and you fall ill, then it's venomous.
The characteristics do not matter, Snakes are serious danger to human
@@miriamo.8631 Humans are far more dangerous to humans than snakes will ever be.
Venom is injected and poison is ingested. That is what determines if it is venom or poison
don't bite the poor snake that isnt very nice
only vampires bite the snake
Light Colored snakes are very venomous like the snake that they/we call the "Rainbow Snake" I actually learned this from Cayote Peterson, his channel is called "BRAVE WILDERNESS" just letting you know if you want to visit his channel 😊😊😊
I know him
I always watch his channel
Ah yes brave wilderness where you learn its okay to hold a wild tarantula. Love them tho. (Secretly wants to hold a tarantula but has arachnophobia so cant even think about doing it without flashes of terror)
When a snake meets face to face with Bear Grylls..
Bear Grylls: Hmm.. it looks delicious.
Snake: Oh f***.. Run..
This is the petiton for Brightside to do ACTUAL research before they post a vid

@@lunarthing1126 ik I was so annoyed
In our village there are a lot of poisonous snakes. We are surrounded by tall grasses. Thanks for the info.
wrong, wrong, wrong a snake is venomous not poisonous (except for some) and dont take the info here as right as basicly all on how to identify a snake is wrong
Q: What to do when you see a snake?
Answer: RUN ....
but if its a bushmaster, its gonna chase you lol
I've always wondered what it feels like to pull out their tongues
Love this channel👌

My rule is...
Don't go to Snake Island in Brasil🇧🇷
True, that's why I'm proud being Brazilian.
As a snake owner, I know almost all of these are false.
I was strongly thinking that myself, the best advice to give someone who doesn't know snakes is if they come across one back away, don't go and inspect it. Snakes get such a bad reputation, they are wonderful creatures, have 4 myself
Well if it’s bright, then that’s truly venomous
Crystal Anubis not necessarily. I can name many snakes that have bright colors yet are not venomous
mhM
Paska Pasta thanks for your advice bro! will surely come in handy one day
Me when i get bitten:
Chugs 10 gallons of water and drinks 1 gallon more
Corn and milk snake difference🐍
"if red touches black,You're OK Jack, if red touches yellow, you're a dead fellow!"
Lily Alegria coral snake i got bitten by 1
I believe you mean coral snake not corn snake. Both corn and milk snakes are completely safe. Coral snakes are not.
Who would not run away and check it's heads and pupils after seeing a snake
Assume all snakes are poisonous until proven otherwise.
same here,to me all snakes are dangerous

The first one isn’t true a Black Mamba has a skinny neck and a kinda circular head.
Ummm just because a snakes pupil is not round doesn't make it venomous like ball pythons there pupils ain't round and thay ain't venomous

1. Shall we take ourselves rulers when we go to a forest to measuring the snakes eyes have a longer distance or a shorter one ...." just wait for a minute you might bite me after sometime let me first figure out the distance between your eyes"

me now: not too scared of snakes.
if the snakes capitalizes on top of it said it is even a mess but if it are below the tablets that it is a non-venomous
I'm not sure about your tips
Do you even know the difference between venom and poison?
Because from what I know, poison is absorbed and venom is injected.
I'm only scared of poisonous snakes and 20FT SNAKES
U mean anacondas
Max Spy Some species of pythons also reach that length.
You do realize snakes aren't poisonous right?

Bright Side: telling the difference
.
.
.
Me: Confused more than before.!!
Vetical oupils mean the snake is nocturnal not venomous and round pupils mean it is diurnal
If you look at it and find it is non venomous "oh boy ! Lets stand here and wait for it to come because it won't be poisonous I have seen the brightside video"
The next moment: why are my lips turning blue after its bite?
My recommendation is to just stay away from any snake
I actually started dying of laughter 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Learn from the experience ive been through :
I got down from 1 - 1.5 meter high rock to the grown below, and looked back at it.
Stay safe yall 💙
thx bro plus smart move that you didn't touch it or something. and the snake could probably smell the cent of you but couldn't see you
