1. I don't eat either one but from pics it looks like Cottage Cheese has more clumpy and ricotta is more smooth.
2. Muffins are thick and often larger (unless it's a mini muffin), also muffins usually have nuts, blueberries, chocolate ships etc inside them and are made out of bread and are healthy. Cupcakes are smaller and made out of cake with a fluffier texture and icing and are less healthy. Muffins you can eat for breakfast while Cupcakes count as a snack or dessert.
3. Heavy cream is thick and can be scooped with a spoon. Buttermilk is like milk and can be poured.
4. Yogurt is made out of fruits and is thick and creamy ... and I never heard of Kefir what the freak.....?
