Demons can be very fluent, and thus in many cases, it could lead to corrections. Yet, they also are known to lie. Thus, if one allows their "corrections", long-term one may end up saying things one didn't intend. God knows our intent. So one could try to make sure the Latin is good, but one can just pray. Think about people who pray with others in a language that isn't their primary language. You can hear the accent, but the prayer is still heard by God.

    • @jwilsonhandmadeknives2760
      @jwilsonhandmadeknives2760 ปีที่แล้ว +11

Exactly this. Never buy into anything that the demon says. Always assume it is a lie or a distraction. After all, it is Christ who is doing the work and we are simply the conduit for Christ's grace. Exorcism isn't a magic spell and when we believe that it is us who does the work then that is what it becomes. We are all imperfect vessels but Christ works through us anyway, and He will act through our faith regardless of mispronouncing words. The larger takeaway is that if the demon is talking at all, he is suffering. If he is suffering and no longer hiding then the ritual is working to bring forth the love and grace of Christ to the person in need.

I've had personal encounters with demons before, and believe they are real. I did well in science when I was young, and work in a field that is very logically-based. I also have the creativity to think of alternative ways to justify things. But what I've encountered would either lead me to believe demons exist as the Bible tells us, or it would suggest I have superpowers or am God. I am not God. I tend to believe demons exist rather than thinking I have multiple superpowers that in themselves might be seen as supernatural.

In 07 in Afghanistan, we did a dismounted patrol in the mountains, about 20 miles from Sharana. We were approached by a local Imam, and a Sheikh. They didn't speak very good English, and our translator was very hesitant about telling us what they wanted, because he thought they were trying to get us to walk into an ambush.
They were asking for help with an "angry" man, that couldn't be controlled. They said that he was possessed, and that he had been that way for a long time. We went to the village, and they showed us the house the man was in. We were expecting to be in a tic any second. We stacked, and went in like it was any other shoot house.
In side was a guy, mid twenties, completely naked, and he was eating the bodies of the family that lived in the house. We didn't shoot him immediately. Instead, one of our guys pulled out zipcuffs, and another covered him.
This was a mistake, he literally chucked a 6'4 guy in full gear into a wall with one hand. He then charged us and started wailing on anyone in reach. Four guys could not hold him down, and he was hitting hard enough that we could hear the bones in his hands breaking. We ended up shooting him, and it took about 6 rounds before he went limp and dropped, including a head shot.
Given where we were we assumed it was drugs, though most of the drugs in the area are hash, opium, and weed. The Imam came in and demanded that we let him pray for us, and we let him. They fed us after that, and they showed us a hole in the ground. When the guy went nuts, and started killing and eating things with his bare hands, they managed to put him in this hole and cover it with a rock. They said he had been down there with no food or water for over a week, before he managed to dig out.
That is the only thing I have ever experienced that seemed like it wasn't natural. It was enough.

I mean if you believe in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour and in his perfect blood atonement and you use the name of the Lord or you talk about the blood, the demon will not contend. The demon must leave, for it is of the supplication and the authority which we hold about these forces of darkness spoken by Jesus Christ himself. The disciples spoke in other languages at Pentecost:
    Acts: 2. 5-12
And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs-we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”

Okay, so a little corrective measure. Consider it a Gift. Christianity's framework is a low Truth. This stuff is simply older than the framework. These "demons" end up playing with you, I'm sure. It doesn't seem odd that "effective' rituals and recitations are being corrected, and ultimately helped by the enemy?? Come, now. However, I do think they are annoyed that somebody is trying to get rid of them. So there's that. So, the corrective measure.
Improve your character, even if you think you're "good enough" for the job. And the person - who gives themselves up to be the entry point for the demon (there is no "possession". There is only availability. So, stop being the yin to the right yang. Nothing escapes the universe, and if you think the laws of nature become "suspended", you've got the wrong view. As I stated, Christianity has the wrong framework for perspective. See better. Or you help perpetrate a fraud toward effectiveness and you're fed that view by the "demon", and your own beliefs integrated. Believe nothing, even during "correction" of language. That one aspect is like Googling something and then thinking Google has the right answer. It doesn't. The answer is a function of the algorithms, not the search bar. Sometimes, context is the 'aim outcome' of deception so you don't really understand even if you think you do.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
    Revelation 20:2
He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
3 He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and put a seal on it so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed. After that, he must be released for a short time.
7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison
8 and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea.
9 They came up across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city.
Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them.
Revelation 20:10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

true nobody shares in God's glory, Jesus Christ is worthy of all worship and glory alone for his is the kingdom. The reason why they have to play around with these demons is because the demons probably don't even leave. And there were even Jews at the time of Paul the apostle who tried to exorcise demons but ended up getting beaten bloody and they had to run away in shame. While the follower's of Christ easily had authority and power over them by rebuking them in the name of the Lord; Jesus Christ. I even had to deal with demon possesions, and when I said the name of Jesus and that the demon should be gone, it did so, no contending needed. Jesus Christ said that we by the power of the Holy Spirit would get this authority to trample over snakes and scorpions, we should not fear. Nothing that is of evil can stand in the light of God.
