So, the quandary of these kind of scrap wood challenges is that they oversize my ambition in relation to my undersized skills as a carpenter/woodworker. Definitely inspirational content, and for that, I thank you. Now, I'll go back to reminding myself that I should stick to projects that my wife won't have to approve. :)

I had my doubts at the beginning. But you sure pulled that off. Beautiful build!
I have mixed feelings about that door texture.
The clear windows was good at modernizing it, but the door looks like coarse carpet with so many wood strips.
Reminds me of that McDonalds mascot, the fry kids, or a cheerleader's pompoms
Too much detail for a modern look.

From a basic door to a door that truly represents who you are. Never thought I'd be so inspired by a door. Is hand plaining as satisfying as it looks?
Love the fact you started doing glueing and nailing all the strips individually, but by the end of it you were like, sod that, all the glue down at once 😂

Thanks! The doorway does have a flyscreen so that was on while I was working on the door. I removed the flyscreen for the video to make it clearer to view and now I'm thinking of leaving it off. :)

Probably my favourite scrapwood challenge so far Pask. When I saw the tearout on the door veneer after you disassembled it I was like "Oh my, how is this going to turn out?". You did not disappoint! I feel that stylistically the up-cycled door represents your character much better :)
