I love these videos so much. The content itself, the back and forth with the camera man, the humor from Samurai, the wholesome family drop ins, it doesn’t get any better than this!
@@UXBen I have to be on our own in this place of a good place for our own business in a few weeks so I will make my way back home for the next two days to make a decision to be able game for this game of my T-Mobile and the Netherlands as well but not much new in my world now I know it must
I'm growing fond of your wise-cracking cameraman. I use outdoor power equipment, and religiously wear earplugs. Sometimes I forget to take them out once the noise is finished. I find it alleviates me the burden of finding kind words for asinine questions or comments. Long time viewer here, and your new content has me engaged. Keep up the good work Jesse!
Your boys are adorable. I have two in the same age and they’re total goofballs. Coming from a grownup who had a dad like you, keep up the good work, you’re teaching them more than you know.
Nice door indeed...i'm assuming it's a exterior door...so what type of wood did you use and will it be exposed to direct rain and snow so my next question is the type of protection used on the exterior...? Thanks...
I don’t say much of anything whenever I watch your channel. I am a finish contractor and make custom pieces and really want to make my doors to my house. Pretty much made a ton of stuff for other ppl. But setting that aside you have a real nice little family ! God has blessed you ! You really do hv a huge blessing there 3 fine boys; all healthy ! Assuming that is your wife (very pretty) you guys hv done well! Remember where it all comes from? Who paints the painting? Who builds the building? Who creates creation? Well done!
I have been a massive fan of the show for years and followed you for many years, but this has to be one of my favourite videos just like old times watching you do the joinery in real time, and seeing your children grow up and get involved is lovely. Please please make more videos like this 🤜💪. Thanks Mr Thatch
I have built few doors like this with my father. Nice work. we use a domino jointer now instead of mortise and tenon saves time and takes up less shop space.
Nice work, Your kids crack me up. A pack of 100 those short golf pencils thrown all over the shop. Always on hand and don't care if they get broken or swept up and thrown away.
Okay, now I have tool envy. Man, you have everything to make the job easier, faster, and accurate. I have to use a plunge router with a guide, tricky business.
Hi, what type of wood board would u recommend to use that won’t warp or bow for DIY indoor barn doors. And can stand the test of cold humid/moisture and hot weather. They’ll be hanging over a sliding door leading to the outside. The absolute best quality recommendations. Thank you
i am happy for you i built 18 in 3 days c/w door doxes and trim all solid oak and finish then proceeded to install them in 2 more days with my wife as my helper
I use sketchup alot for work and I need my front door done and I have lots of cypress wood from trees I cut years ago, and have acouple of tools.....I`ll give it a try,
I use the earmuffs when using power tools also, and often forget to take them off. I think it allows me to have my thoughts in my head with less interruption. Hearing protection and thought protection...who knew?
Have a few questions! What kind of wood did you use? Hard wood soft wood? Where do you get your lumber from? And if it is from a box store what moisture content was it? I want to start making my own interior doors for my house. But need some questions answered first.

nd the shotgun on the wall
😂😂😂 “Glue-up language!!!” That is something that we all can relate too.
Grateful to know I’m not the only one who struggles with it 😅
Once the glue and clamps come out everyone turns into an arsehole! 👍😂🔨🇮🇪

Glue up language, hilarious 😂 we all have it
@@josephmahotka8941, like, what?
What a joy to have your boys pop in on you while you work! Cherish those times.

I agree. More cameraman…. 👀
I come from a family of four boys and four girls. I remember how fun it was watching my dad working with wood. God bless you and your family.
Another a-door-able build from the world's leading Canadian Samurai!
I have loved your off grid series so far but I have to admit I'm excited to see a good old build video in the woodshop.
Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ?
I love that your kids feel at home and welcome in your shop. God bless.
Whatever you do keep your brother around! Always been a fan but these videos are getting better and better. Exponentially!
Agreed. More cameraman! 👀
Congrats both, door job and your kids around the shop. Glue's language is the come up in millions of youtube videos.
its so good to see you as a family develop alongside your carpentry. thank you for sharing all this throughout these years. I appreciate this alot.
The knots on the door gives it character, amazing work samurai
No push block.......watch those fingers..........
Love the shop. Nice. Very nice.
How can I make a wooden door like this that will be tight enough to prevent any air/gas from transferring from room to room?
Be honest you just searched for “wooden doors” in youtube to find videos on that didn’t you
I love these start to finish video’s especially when the kids pop in. Nice job!
I love how your brother is documenting your work! It feals like being there, watching and learning from your hands with my own eyes. Just authentic!
Your boys are adorable. I have two in the same age and they’re total goofballs. Coming from a grownup who had a dad like you, keep up the good work, you’re teaching them more than you know.
Good to know I'm not the only one. Nice door. Good build. Thanks.
making AND filming this in one day is hardcore 😎
at 11:35 why didn't you just change the router bit height and clear out all the middle section?
Shaft was too short and maxed out. It was pretty easy (and fun) to use the chisel.
nothing for the bearing to ride on
Your boys are wonderful. You are blessed.
That is a beautifully handcrafted door truly amazing

Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ? 💕
Great video. Beautiful children. Love to hear mor about the dimensions and the router bits you used.
Such a simple design but with the samurai touch it's stunning
Glue ups are damn loud. Good on him for modeling good shop safety!

Just to be real… I’ve been sub’d for a long minute now, and you’re a damn righteous woodworker Jesse!
I like the shop, the work and your tools, best of all, three boys! Lucky man!
your craftsmanship matches the absolute beauty of that grain and wood selection 👍
Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ? 💕
You think these would be air tight?
This feels like one of your old-school videos when I first subscribed years ago. Can't wait to see it in the cabin.
Looks great Jessi, thanks for sharing. I glad you are making video again!

Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ? 💕
Love the frequency of your videos, Jesse!
I have built few doors like this with my father. Nice work. we use a domino jointer now instead of mortise and tenon saves time and takes up less shop space.
Great tip for the symmetry of the arch at the top of the door. Works first time every time!
I'm so glad you're uploading more regularly again. I love your work and you're a huge inspiration.
I'm really impressed by your efficiency with the milling and joinery of this door, Jesse!
Fabulous! Great kids too!
Great job, good no-nonsense joinery.
Beautiful timber, nice job Hodor.

Everything you touch turns to gold 👍

Beautiful Door! What final treatment finish did you use?
Yes please. I'm wondering too. Lovely work.
Always beautiful work, entertaining and Educational. Thanks.
The samurai is a different level 🔥
When you finish a door, what brand of door hinges do you like to pair? Or even, how do you go about finding a door handle for it??
You sure make everything look easy!
Mesmerizing... awesome work!
Great work and video as usual guys.
Your door is clean and solid. I like this project .
Solid! This door is on another level.
Glue up language, love it. Nice door as well, thanks for showing us.
Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ?
Good for you! Been there. Over 300 doors under my belt and they’re all perfect and functional.
Just a little tip. Use PL Premium on the glue ups.
Awesome door demo
One hell of a door! Miss these types of vids from u. Noone really does projects anymore just shorts
Beautiful work Jesse. As always. Samurai classic. Was really hoping for another of your videos and you overdelivered once again
Best joiner on the plant in my humble opinion 👍 keep smashing it mr samurai
Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ? 💕
That hollow chisel mortiser is so satisfying
Cool. When you gonna bust out the router and finish the thing ?
You get a gold star. Good boy!
Okay, now I have tool envy. Man, you have everything to make the job easier, faster, and accurate. I have to use a plunge router with a guide, tricky business.
Nice door. I remember when you first got this shop...it looked so empty...now it looks lived in. Nice work

Beautiful piece Sir!

Beautiful as always
What is written in sawdust on the jointer?
Open and shut case. Well done!
Amazing process and result as well 👍🏻
Such a large shop, so many great tools - I was surprised that you don't have a wall mounted camping system...
i am happy for you
i built 18 in 3 days c/w door doxes and trim all solid oak and finish

It’s a beauty!

When wiping glue from the door are you forcing glue into the grain of the wood??
Your a fantastic Craftsman Samurai.
Beautiful door, I liked the finish.
"Glue-up language" Haha. What's the finish you put on the door?
I second the HaHa and question.
I woulda triple poly coated that door like it was on a boat
“Glue up language”…I felt that…
Dang. I must have missed the fire sale on General tools! Great job!
Really dig the edge profile at the head of the door👍🏻
Very nice. Is anyone really surprised a professional woodworker with a complete shop, and modeling software could build a solid wood door in one day?
Dude! that is a great build.
A true craftsman
Mr S. l ( like many of your viewers I hope) like the the new filming method…. I guess many hands make light work. Nice job 👍
Man I'm jealous, wish we could get nice clear Doug Fir like that here in Michigan!
Beautiful door! Great job👍
Love your boys😘. I have four grandsons and love teaching them in my shop👌. Priceless!!!
Good job nad nice work shop.
That an entry door? So just the wood glue will work for the outside door?
Really handsome door!
Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ? 💕
Beautiful just out of curiosity how much would you charge to make a door like that for someone?
Fantastic skills, love that the family all get involved with this as well 👍🏼
If ONLY you had something to put that pencil in... like say a vest. Bwahahahahahaha nice build Jesse.
I use the earmuffs when using power tools also, and often forget to take them off. I think it allows me to have my thoughts in my head with less interruption. Hearing protection and thought protection...who knew?
Hello there👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you had a great day ? 💕
Is there any problem with water going into the recessed panels at the bottom and getting between the wood and eventually rotting?
Quite professional... which small plane are you using for chanfering the edges?
Amazing Work !!!
