At 14:55 you're using tape to hold the long piece in place while drying. A good idea when doing this with many pieces of tape is to first stick a piece of tape all along the edge, and after that you can stick the individual pieces on top of that long tape. This way, when time comes to remove all those pieces of tape, you can lift the longer one beneath and this in turn releases all the smaller pieces, making the cleanup a breeze.
Thanks for including your goofs, Neil. Its comforting to know that even a craftsman as talented as you still makes mistakes! Regardless the cabinet turned out beautifully! The fit on those drawers is impeccable. I really like your new glass shop doors, BTW. Im guessing you did it for climate and bug control, but it really dresses up the place! Glad you took some well-deserved rest. Cheers!
how anyone can give this a dislike is beyond understanding - I think some people might be a tad jealous . Great work , great result even with the obligatory mishaps.
That’s a handsome cabinet. I love seeing furniture makers make “shop” stuff because it’s so utility oriented and easy to build, but they always come out nice enough to put in your office save for the look of the materials. That saw stop panel attachment is really cool. I used to use a panel saw regularly and it’s a massive timesaver, but it was an enormous and expensive machine. This one looks to be perfect for average use.
I like the way you left the mistakes in. Excellent work. Possibly air displacement holes on the under side so bigger draws don't open the others when closing.
How refreshing to see a man show his work; mistakes and all. Thanks for making the rest of us feel better about making mistakes. We all do but some are too proud to show them. Enjoy your videos.

I have to say I particularly love your videos, especially the ones where you mess something up but then come right back to it with a fix and don't edit out the mistakes like some others do. If you ever get bored and go walkabout, come to Florida for a visit... it's similar to Australia with the heat and everything here trying to kill you.
That tool cabinet looks absolutely gorgeous Neil. The fit of those drawers is a joy to watch, especially the way that one pushes the other out! I guess if this ever become a nuisance, you could drill a few small holes in the back panel of each drawer housing, to allow the air in/out when opening/closing them. I have to admit, I'm a little envious of the nice new extras that Sawstop have sent you for your table saw, it must be really nice to use :) I also wanted to say, thank you for showing us how you fixed some of the mistakes that you made, but more importantly, for including them... it proves that, as humans, we all make them occasionally. Sometimes people edit the mistakes out of their videos and it gives a false sense that they never make mistakes. I guess more accurately though, it just means that they'd prefer not to admit to making them!
As always, excellent work. Love the fact that you’re human and show your mistakes and fixes. You’re a true inspiration to my projects at home. Thanks for the vids.
A while back I made something similar but did all the dado cuts with a router...what a pain. Very enjoyable watching this come together so smoothly. Great project as always!

I love all your videos. As I've said before I am unable to do much woodworking due to being disabled but I really do live my woodworking dreams through videos like this. Thank you so much from chilly West Sussex, UK.
Seeing this video brings a few memories back. My dad is a woodworker, he mainly does wooden floors, doors, pool decks, baseboards and other cool stuff. I remember seeing pieces of wood with a lot of these round cuts that you did at 13:07 and I never undestood what it was for, and for some reason never thought about asking him directly. I used to play with them when my dad was done with them, pretending it was a powerful sword or a guitar (weird, I know, but it was fun). Thank you for bringing back nice memories! And congratulations on the build, the cabinet looks fantastic!
@PaskMakes thanks for the lesson. I think it looks really good with most of the drawers with the small pulls. I hope you only changed the larger drawers. This cabinet would look even better with your ship's wheel (made medium size) centered where the existing handles are and cut in half! You love your joinery...I like it as is but it's understated for your many skills...show off a bit! Some contrasting stain on the frame would highlight the cabinet layout to show off your design!
