OMG! I’m having my morning coffee getting ready for work. Lol out here in my living room while wife and kids are asleep. I guess he thought you were cute!😂. Nice fish, take care!
😂😂... Thanks. And yeah that was my first guess about what happened too. No other fish I have caught has actually done something about how they feel about me until now. Haha.. Have a good work week!
yeah it was that dry cracked dirt that looks like it should be fine and then you sink like three and a half feet into it. I can only imagine how muddy the bank is right next to the river. I should have gone the barefoot route
Just fished the bank at olathe lake. Are the catfish everywhere or do you recommend fishing the dam? I usually go for crappie as i have caught more than enough bass in my life, that i honestly dont care for em. Any idea if the catfish and crappie at olathe lake are edible? Great vids man!
Thanks!! I'm not completely sure where the fish are biting at Olathe right now. If I was there, I'd try at the dam. Maybe even at the bottom of the hill by the fence where you can cast into deeper waters to the left and cast into a little More shallow water on the right. You could try both deep and shallow and see what works.
I believe you're asking where this spot is once you park? I was carrying a lot so I decided to take the gravel road that is at an angle down and then go to your rights towards the bridge and there's an opening when you get closer to the river and that is right next to the bridge where this log jam is
Or if it's parking. You'll pull up and the bridge is right in front of you. You can park there or there's a levee road that is gravel on the left side that you can pull in and park . Unless someone wants to get through on the levee road then you would have to move your car

The river banks are definitely muddy right now. Last two times out I've ended up barefoot lol. Nice video bro!

Is the central bridge, If so where do you park? In the area before the bridge?
yes it is and I parked right next to the Levee road gate. I'm not sure how much they like that but I didn't have any problems
@CatfishKC at the end of the concrete barrier or is it close to the bridge?
