You may have to break the sockets lose manually then hit them with the impact tool. Defeats the purpose if you ask me but some lugnuts can be a pain to remove.
I am in England UK and one of these for £55 with 2 batteries and free delivery, for the money it's absolutely brilliant and has made working on a car so much easier, to remove a wheel takes as minute. OK I agree it's NOT a Makita or Milwaukee but it didn't cost £250, so you get what you pay for but the average home mechanic it's the dogs B0ll0cks

Over here in Canada we have the rigid half inch impact wrench, 600 ft-lbs pounds of breakaway torque, and would remove that lug nut in seconds.
