speaking of samurai-themed Frame Arms there's also the recent Shingen, a Frame Arm designed by Gundam's original mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, it said to be a design to celebrate the anniversary of the Frame Arms line.

Huh. This one looks way better as a Girl than a Frame Arms. It's got a bit of a Sakura Shinguji vibe from Sakura Wars. That said, I think I'd prefer some hakama-style pants to really sell that traditional Japanese look. Maybe make the side cuts extra wide if you want to show some skin still. But regardless, neat kit.

Looking forward to the Durga variant to replace my architect + durga kitbash. I love how the Durga armor parts look but they are oversized when used on a FA girl.

hobbysearch has ATK girl Serket on sale. Itll be my first kit of that type. Keep in mind these are bigger than HG gundam, so the price of entry is usually going to be on par. I'd say you definitely get enough plastic and quality to make these the price of 2-3 HG's reasonably.

I wish they included they make a Houten version of this, they only have the Rikka Version with the accessories similar to Jinrai.
The butt part is probably the most well-worked piece of the set as they're including that with the next line of Frame Arms Girl model kit.

They made the Gourai Kai VER 2 a long while after they made the original (yes,there is a Gourai Kai version 1,but that's a blue ray exclusive kit)
They'll probably announce something next year,or after the Durga 1 kit is released

They already had Durga, Kongou and Kagutsuchi in line for the next releases
So I doubt there will be more new announcements this year
while I'm going to wait they might spit our Druga 2 and Houten magatsuki and rectify some of the base model's short coming essentially turn it to what Xf-3 Zefikar and Kai 2 gourai are to their gen 1 counter parts, I got magatsuki and I do feel some of her body gimmicks can be reworked
well according to Hobby Show Houten will be available for pre-order probably sometime early next year she's already beyond prototype stage with a paint master already out
Pre-ordered one of these last year and got it a couple of months ago. I like the overall mecha motif and she has good assets.
Unarmored
the magical samurai aesthetic isn't really my thing
but then I saw the unarmored form.
Spraying the head crest and the blades in silver is better than being moulded in silver. Just the looks though
You gonna get the 30 minute sisters kits? Also, Ive noticed almost none of the girl models I've seen have normal long hair, its all ponytails and similar stuff.
Zaku is probably getting them, but he's not looking forward to them, also about the hair have you seen the School Girl Model Kits, they have the kind of hair you're looking for.

Depends on which parts you mean. 30MS are smaller, closer to 1/12 scale, and Frame Arms Girls are around 1/10 scale so the body parts may not work exactly but the armor and weapons could work
I want to ask about the faceplate, can you replace the faceplate in magatsuki with faceplate from inoncentia?
Yes. All the Frame Arms girls have the same connection points so face swaps shouldn't be a problem.

@@hondacivet Yes they were for men, but there were also no women samurai either. It's just the theme of a Samurai transposed into a mecha musume kit. The underwear are just a stylistic thing to match. Otherwise, she'd just have the same panties most of the other frame arms girl kits tend to have.
@@MuShinnen I know this is a bit of an old comment but, if I'm remembering correctly, there were female samurai. Although it was a rare occurrence and only happened when a family had no males to inherit the role. 4 years of Japanese studies in school finally came in handy...maybe...possibly 😓
