When I built this recently , one of the leg pegs snapped in half when attaching the leg to the waist. Super glue and Tamiya super thin cement were not enough to fix it. Getting Kotobukiya parts in the U.S make it impossible to get replacement parts as well. So my tips for people about the leg pegs are a) be really really careful with those leg pegs , these have to be the most fragile I've ever build . An alternative is building the legs and attaching them to their peg on the waist before fully assembling the waist. B) should you break a leg peg like me , luckily the Mecha Girl Modelers group has STL files to 3D print new ones
I got this kit a couple months, a problem I had is that the iridescent finish on half of the clear parts was cracked. It looked really bad. Luckily it was just the smaller runners. Just had to live with it. For sure its a finicky kit, I think you should've highlighted the surprisingly sturdy fore-arm helpers that support the scythe. This kit can really one hand the scythe pretty well.
I have her original frame arms girl of her and she's one of my all time favorite kit. I do remember the build itself was a bit annoying with how many parts and the clashing at times. Haven't gotten her Ater but if you want a challenge I do recommend Hresvelgar my best tip is go slow don't rush. If you want gun blades and/or purple short hair go with the original and if you want scythes and blonde twin tails get Ater.
I do have all 5 Fully Armored Hresvelgr kits so far. I like that they come with so much stuff and options even if you don't use all the parts you can still make cool combinations like using the seat parts as a giant lasercanon
Which kits do you have and what can you say about them? I've been eyeing the INVERT and I'm getting this one in particular soon, not a fan of the original kits color scheme.
i felt the same way about this kit having too much going on, that's why i just picked up summer and bikini versions as well as a black rapid raider since i didn't like the look of the hres with red rapid raider
This looks great, been on my Wishlist but I keep picking up newer stuff. I got the= new black and yellow one,(unassembled ATM) after seeing this I'm defiantly bumping this up my to get list!
I got the first edition of this kit, it came with ABS wrist joints and they cracked after a year. Fortunately the newer version has POM wrists instead.
Having built this myself, gotta say - too many bits getting in the way, and the torso joints need to be sanded down slightly (this seems to be a must-do for most musume kits). I learned the latter the hard way, since my kit SNAPPED at the torso.
Ah Hresvelgr, AKA Burger... Literally the most popular out of all the first wave of Frame Arms Girls to the point that even gacha games started adding her after the 3 first main ones. Burger has way more versions than any other FA Girl, even more than Gourai for that matter.
I hate Frame Arms, after building a few I grew to hate them even more. My last one was the Hresvelgr, the frame arms model kits just have the worse shoulders constructions. The Frame Arms Girl on the other hands are rock solid.
You should blame the pre-assemble frame, those are garbage. Every single FA that I bought with pre-assemble frame, one or two polycaps are cracks.... I have to buy the unassemble frame to replace that shitty frame....which works way better.
Hresverg have so many kits, I have like 4, the OG, Invert, Rapid Rider and the OG swimsuit, wanted to collect all but also there are limited kits like Rufus amd I think the fairies, so I give up on that lol.
it depends on how well you clean it up, if you apply the decals etc. my first one (just one cut no sanding) took me about 5 hours my 2nd one (2 cuts + cleanup + pannelliner and decals) took me about a week (30ish hours)

Definitely a cool looking kit. It has a ton of variants ranging from simple, beach style, even with a motorcycle!

cool. i have the Albas. Among the FA Girls kits i really want kotobukiya to upgrade the Greifen. Though i prefer they make more of the Handscale kits.

I think is cheap because is a very old model, the bikinis and Albas are more recent.
Do you have problems with the neck peg? The thin piece that the "neck" part goes over has a poor connection on my copy and her head falls off easily
Yes, it's my case too, really had a hard time posing without head fall off.

Had problems with the arms and hands falling off.
Frame arms girls are a bit more flimsy and loose. Compared to megami device. So you might need to use a bit of glue to get it to stay stick.
