Ludens didn't have the helmet because her hair from the side profile has the same silhouette as the helmet.

Only recently discovered these kits and I’m all in! Been eyeing this one for a minute and I plan on getting it. Not sure if it will be this one or the ultramarine version coming soon. Already built up a backlog of kits to build between FA Girls, Megami device and MSG accessory kits and I was never into model building! I am now, haha!
Man they sure are addicting!
The walker form definitely gives me some end of G-Reco vibes.

I've had it on P-O at BBTS, and i've been curious about the general build as its my first Frame Arms Girl set, and let me tell you how my mind was working while you reviewed it:
1: *thiccc box* Ok not bad
2: *transparent parts* Noice...
3: *amount of joints and color separation* This is getting interesting...
4: *pulls the launcher and fixes to the MG body* Holy f*** im in love with this.
I dont know why but the way the launcher slips out and attaches to the MG body is just so simple yet so smart, this is typically the kind of small detail and part use i expect of my kits.
Hell yeah man it’s a great kit!

the standard configuration reminds me of the Power Loader from the Aliens movie, i can hear her yelling "get away from her you b*tch!!" as she fights the Xenomorph Queen, lol.

I get magitek armor from final fantasy 6. Could totally custom this into a Terra or celes build!

It reminds me more of the Gigantic Arms Powered Guardian than the actual Greifen mech. I think it would look really cool with Perfect Grade 1/60 scale weapons (or the various 1/100 buster swords) since the hands are big enough to hold them.

Looks great, whenever I get mine I probably paint it into Huckebein colors. It looks pretty much like the AM Boxer to me XD
Minty Frame Arms Girl that would go great with my collection of minty mecha, the Turn X and Jegan. I really dig the powered exo-skeleton look this one has, just serves as a reminder that I need to build up my XF-3 Stylet Frame Arms Girl kit. The walker mode reminds me of an AT-RT from Star Wars to a small degree.
Great review! I passed over this one the first time because I didn't care for the character art, but the mech-suit design is incredibly cool and very different from the old-style Gourai/Stylet designs.
One question though - how difficult is it to replace the chonky glove hands with standard FA:G or MD hands? Are the joint sockets compatible? Would be interesting to pose her with one glove on, halfway through donning the other glove...
The wrist socket in the forearm seems to be the same size, so you should be good!
I've come to find out that the claw on the subarm has really good grip. I've taken the hgbc giant gatling gun, switched around the handles (vertical in large hand, horizontal loop on the claw arm and managed to 'one hand' that massive thing. Admittedly, the kit titled a bit on the included stand, but counter titling in the opposite direction helped to literally demonstrate the weight of the huge gun. Given this ability, I don't feel too bad about no included weapon. Although maybe they should have included the kotobukiya msg gatling gun?

A question for those in the know: Do any of the Girls kits re-use runners from their respective Frame Arms mecha? Or are the armor parts usually newly-tooled specifically for the Girls?
As far as I can remember of the kits I’ve built they’re always new runners for the Girl versions
Just built the Girl Greifen and tried to incorporate the Extended Arms during the build, and I can say the 'shoulders' are not the same scale as the original, nor do the chest missiles fit flush with her chestplate. The color is also slightly different, with the original Greifen being slightly more yellow and the Girl being slightly more pale. So far, if you really wanted to use Frame Arms Girl and Frame Arms, Architect comes with some extra biceps that fit Frame Arms elbows. That said, the 3mm pegs used for most 30MM/FA accessories will fit any of these kits.
I really wanna get a frame arms kit but like man that shit be to darn expensive I can easily get a Master Grade and a High Grade for that price
I guess the clear helmet alone is not compatible to Ludens. Swapping the whole heads might be a good idea, plus interchangable faceplates.
Any tips on how to prevent the breakage of the wrist joints? My hresvelgr ater is not so happy 😅 on e the joint is on the forearm, it won't rotate 💔

Are the human figures close to 3.75 action figure size? Wondering if the mech part will work with a gi joe scale figure...thanks! Great vids!
Not familiar with western figure standards but frame arms girls are similarly proportioned to Japanese 1/12 scale dolls. They are roughly 6 inches tall so quite a bit taller but you may be able to get it to work as a large/bulky power suit.
I WAS on teh fence about this one. You've convinced me. When Akihabara opens up again, I'll go get this. I mean I could always order it from Amazon.co.jp for less than 6000 yen with free shipping but, I know if I go to Akihabara I'll wind up finding rare and out of print. Icing on the cake, as they say.

If you're in the states, BBTS is $64 USD shipped. HLJ is $50 USD before shipping. Dunno if they ship domestically though.
