The main reason this kit exists is because Baselard is smaller than the other girls in the anime thus the "anime version". I'd say your best hope would be a Jinrai 2.0 to go with Gourai Kai and Stylet XF-3.
It's really a must for Baselard to get her Anime Kit since Baselard's anime personality is too childish and "off-character" for someone who is supposed to be retrofitted to be the mech that will destroy Hresvelgr in the Frame Arms canon.
Nice Shoulders I really like the clean frame arms style shoulders here vs what megami device typically does the gaps between shoulder turrets and neck always look so unnatural to me. floating shoulder blades too, just looks weird and makes their backs look so un-smooth.
The Megami Device redesigned Baselard removed the one thing we all get Baselard for, but no one else will say: The Best Butt in Mecha Musume. Koto has never done better, and it was the one reason I didn’t spring for the MD Bassie.
One thing that irritates me is how they didn't give you an extra part to keep both the cotton tail and the mecha arms attached. She just feels less like a bunny girl without the cotton tail...
This Base is accurate in terms of height. Just recently, a Hand Scale of Baselard with height shorter than other Hand Scale FA Girls just went up for pre-order to match. Also, the way to pronounce Baselard, just like the type of knife, actually. It's an uncommon word for a type of knife with a ring on the hilt.
It's technically a "collaboration" between the Frame Arms Girl line, and the Megami Device line. That means it's going to use as many parts from the original kit as possible to cut down on costs. Otherwise they'd have to design an entirely new torso.

And MD's previous collab with Busou Shinki & Alice Gear Aegis all have the usual MD articulation. Seems weird to omit the shoulder swivel when the Baselard anime version uses totally new parts, since they are already adding cost in making the new parts.

The added waist articulation was an easy carry over from Megami Device, but they'd still have to essentially design a new torso that mimicked the old one while having new articulation. I've seen pics of this kit floating around, but I thought it was an aesthetic recolor as an excuse to upgrade her to Gourai-Kai's newer hip joint, like Stylet XF-3, Hres Ater Bikini, and some of the Architect mods. I think I know what the point of this was. In the anime, "Base-sama no Tensei" was the bratty half-pint of the group and easily the shortest. (Then again, Architect is supposed to be the tallest...) So I don't think we're gonna' get any other classic FA Girls in this design. And while it's all subjective, I thought everybody's favorite FA Girls (as are my favorites) were Gourai and Architect (with special mention of Hres, but she tends to not count for being the obviously cooler-designed antagonist), hence the tons and tons of variants, whereas Base-sama only got Zelfikar. Honestly, Baselard is too obnoxious for my tastes. Plus, most FA Girls in Baselard's generation are armed with either conventional weapons or melee, whereas Baselard is unique and kinda' out of place for her beam weapons. It's like dropping a Strike Freedom into 08th MS Team in that it just feels wrong in your gut, y'know? This clash was apparently no accident as, from what I gathered about the original Frame Arms lore, Baselard was actually the _main villain_ suit, while Hresvelgr was the eleventh hour ally who could actually fight it on even terms.
Baselard in megami device form is looking more like an Alice Gear Aegis girl than Frame Arms Girl. Her petite body type and heavy weapons backpack fit right in with koto's Alice Gear Aegis line, she's just missing thruster effect parts and a clear stand.
Heard of a mecha musume X Evangelion kit in the future, can't wait for that
