beautiful bike.. I'm surprised Indian hasn't fixed the throttle lag issue in the 22 models. I had it on my 2020 and easily fixed it with an aftermarket tune (either Lloydz or Dynojet) but you would think Indian would have that resolved out of the box. Get it tuned.. it'll be much better. enjoy the new ride.
I will say that my Challenger didn't seem too bad and like you said the Lloyd'z tune seemed to improve it a little. And now I would say my stock one is fairly good but it's not solid like HD..

@@Ridingfish that’s great to hear! I love the the XC in many ways so it’s good to know. I hope cams come out soon for the Challenger since I’m very curious what they’ll do. I’m guessing a good 15hp like the Vic 106 was. Which would make a hell of a bike without dumping $5k plus in like the HD’s.
My Challenger had the Stage One air and Indian exhaust when I bought it. I did the K&N filter, Tab DeCat, SharkRoad exhaust(actually really good loud but not toooo loud) and RVS tune . Really opened the bike up. Tab talked me out of the Zombies due to lack of back pressure. Which tune is better Lloyds or RVS ?

This looks pretty good for a stock tune - can’t wait to see how much better it will get once you update header/exhaust/tune. Are you having your tune performed by Indian dealership?
I took out a 17 RM for a test ride and throttle lag was terrible on it. It was really bad just getting going from a stop and seemed I had to give it alot of throttle before I could start letting the clutch out to go.
He has not had one on his dyno before!! He didn't have the 117 either.. I believe Rev Max PA is what 150hp at the crank and sportserS is about 130.. the PA motor should probably end up in a bagger!! What do you think?
@@Ridingfish I agree. I have a PAS. Love the engine, can’t say enough about it. I came from the sport bike world and love 1250! I wish it would appear in HD’s bigger touring machines too.
My ol' Vic XC 106 upgraded with Lloydz VM-1 cams, Hi-Flow AF, Tri-Oval exhaust with a Noemetz Maximus tune is putting down 112hp \ 115tq at the rear wheel. I'm kind of board with this level of power hauling an 850lbs bike. I don't feel its worth dumping money into it at this point, but on the other hand I don't want to spend big money on a new bike to ride away with about the same power or even less. 😐
I had the XC Magnum before my challenger.... i gotta say one ride on challenger and you'll want one... i thought I'd never part ways from the vic... but wow, the challenger is it. 2 yrs old 10.3. and have 40,000 miles. Lloydz tune and tab ZoMbies! Sold my vic in September '20 of with 40,000miles...
@@Ridingfish Believe me, they are on my mind too😎... After riding the Vic so long, if I got another big tourer\bagger I'd want at least 130+hp \ 140+tq at the wheel out of it. I'm sure the Power Plus has that capability but there doesn't seem to be any real performance upgrades available for the engine and I don't know if I'd want to spend the money on doing a big power upgrade if there was...That is after spending $30k+ on the bike itself...
@@Hipporider I dont like the seating position.....If i could get a bike that had the sound and the fit n finish of a HD...The power and torque of that Triump....and dependablity of Goldwing...and 0 infotainment and sit easy rider style....for 20k out the door i will buy it....other than that i will stay where iam at...
What does all of this mean? Does this make the Indian a better bike? Why does this guy try to complete with Harley so much to prove his bike is worth riding, just enjoy your bike. I ride a Goldwing and I just enjoy my ride, not knocking what others ride.
I'm pretty sure I didn't knock anything.. I even talked about builds that were possible and what it would take to get there.. then talked about a turbo build... but when HD is the biggest and well know they kind of start as a standard... but I was showing bone stock to bone stock.. I appreciate you watching and commenting!!
I'll use my Challenger as an example.. I rode that baby 37,000 miles it was a 2020.. I had one issue at mile 450.. fixed in 5 mins nothing after that! Resell when I traded it in i got one a few thousand less then I paid!

The Challenger, Scout, and Pursuit are Victory bikes with the Indian name on them. The 108 is a water cooled version of the 106. Lloyds was building 106 Victories that would smoke that guys Harley.

This looks pretty good for a stock tune - can’t wait to see how much better it will get once you update header/exhaust/tune. Are you having your tune performed by Indian dealership?
My plans are all still in the works! From tune to exhaust and even air intakes! Lol
Beautiful bike !
Thank you! Indian Motorcycle knocked it out of the park
Bro, Minnow talking shit about your quiet exhaust makes this whole video, lol. Beautiful bike.
Yea!! I can't even get upset.. I know where she gets it!! Haha
Hell yeah, I knew that as soon as she said it!!
How about a run with just the rubber intake baffle removed?!!
I'll see what I can do!
Why not let Lloyd's do your tune? Lloyd is THE Indian Tuner!
I wanted a bone stock base line.. before any performance stuff at all!!
@@Ridingfish
Smart man Fish.
Link?
A lot of people have had trouble with the Lloyds tune ⚠️🍀⚠️
i noticed the throttle lag on my RoadMaster as well. is it cause of throttle by wire versus physical cable?
Honestly that is my understanding!! I know some can tune it out or "better".. to me it's a getting used to thing!
I took out a 17 RM for a test ride and throttle lag was terrible on it. It was really bad just getting going from a stop and seemed I had to give it alot of throttle before I could start letting the clutch out to go.
I was interested in testing a Pursuit, they don’t exist…
Keep and eye for a demo truck! Or also ride a Challenger next closest thing!
Pegs raised 1 inch , & 2 inches forward , reverse gear pattern
Am a girl dad (3x) 😩 but love ❤ the girl power 🤣
Oh boy 3!!!!! Good luck!! I have the one and only and she already has got me getting gray hair!
Dude...your daughter is hilarious 😂 😃 😄
Hahaha She really is!! 🤣 thank you
No mention of the 1250 HD RevMax?
He has not had one on his dyno before!! He didn't have the 117 either.. I believe Rev Max PA is what 150hp at the crank and sportserS is about 130.. the PA motor should probably end up in a bagger!! What do you think?
@@Ridingfish I agree. I have a PAS. Love the engine, can’t say enough about it. I came from the sport bike world and love 1250! I wish it would appear in HD’s bigger touring machines too.
1 horse power , the amount of energy to lift either 50 or 300 lbs , can’t remember , off the ground 3 feet , and hold it there , pictures from history
I have seen this measurement also!! I forgot about it
My ol' Vic XC 106 upgraded with Lloydz VM-1 cams, Hi-Flow AF, Tri-Oval exhaust with a Noemetz Maximus tune is putting down 112hp \ 115tq at the rear wheel.
The Vics are GREAT bikes!!! I think we all agree but the dang Challenger got into my dreams after I rode it myself!! Haha
All. Very. Good. Points!!!
I have learned the 112 bbk would get that 140/140
@@ta-tonka1175 ... Exactly why I refuse to test ride a Challenger or Pursuit 🤣😂
I was going to buy used
But just order my 22 dark horse pursuit in silver quartz
Boom!! Thats a great color!!
Congratulations on the pursuit 🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸
Good luck and GOD BLESS

I ride a Harley for the torque not the horsepower...So the M8's are comparable in the torque department with Indian...
Yes for sure!!! The 114 had almost exactly the same!
If you get a chance, test ride a Triumph Rocket 3. The highest torque bike, low revs and all, if you like torque! 🇦🇺
Oh I want to ride one sooo bad!!! 100%!!
Brad, might be easier to win the lottery and build one!! Haha not 20k tho! 😢 😭
Good info. I subscribed because I’m interested in the bike and the progress you inferred, but are you trolling your own videos?
What do you mean trolling my own video? I appreciate the sub!
I love your bike and look to be riding one soon. Sorry for misjudging you Bro.
Honestly all good I appreciate it.
He's not knocking other's. Harley dominates so it's best to compare to it.
I don’t know anything about the Indians. How are they doing as far as reliability and durability and resale value?
I'll use my Challenger as an example.. I rode that baby 37,000 miles it was a 2020.. I had one issue at mile 450.. fixed in 5 mins nothing after that! Resell when I traded it in i got one a few thousand less then I paid!
@@Ridingfish Sounds good. I’ve not had any new Harleys, just older ones, couple of Sportsters and a couple of Heritages. Never had any real problems with them that I couldn’t fix myself and I’m just a moderate DIY. I like motorcycles of all sorts, I just like the sound and character of the Harley. By the way, that is a sharp looking bike.
1678.00 in 2003 , 8 hours , whole day , things get more expensive
Only problem I have with all the new motorcycles are chain drive cams....
Honestly I don't know.. but why?
Just seen the back end of that thing for the first time.I like a big butt, but it's gotta be round. The older (Springfield) shape was nicer
i liked the old style also
do you have contact info or website for arc tunning, could not find.
arktunigmn@gmail.com
Also on Instagram
i wouldnt want a tuner that said horsepower is made up because its a math equation lmao
Don't think I'd ever buy a polaris Indian after they hung the victory owners out to dry
The Challenger, Scout, and Pursuit are Victory bikes with the Indian name on them. The 108 is a water cooled version of the 106. Lloyds was building 106 Victories that would smoke that guys Harley.
Yea honestly I hear you but it's also understandable as Indian Motorcycle brand grew so fast that no way they would be able to make both.. imagine the supply chain issues if that was the case.. now we are seeing Victory DNA in Indian Motorcycle and I'm very happy to ride the best bikes being made!!
Made up numbers?! I knew it! I just knew it, that Math was totally bogus! All that time and stress wasted in High School! (Sob!)
Tq over time equals HP!?!
@@Ridingfish Ain't nobody got time for dat!
LAMENTAVEL , A INDIAN NOS DEIXOU TÃO CEDO NO BRASIL.
Desculpe ouvir isso!
Looks like Goldwing plastic and cheap decals. Supposed to compete with road glides? Lol. Not that one.
Yea. It leaves road glides in the lot
I went to an Indian challenger dark horse and quickly got rid of it for a roadglide. Harkey is a better built bike. But indian has also forced harley to up their game as well. Competition is good for us consumers.
Don't be a hater bro.
@@billdarling9527 I couldn't agree with you less Mr Darling. Obviously you belong in a flock of sheep 🐑
You should take one for a ride.
Why don't you be happy and ride your bike and quit comparing to Harley all the time? I unsubscribed because of it
Ooh, another butthurt HD rider doesn't like Indian comparisons. Gee, I wonder why?
I tried to be informative with real facts about motorcycles that has been on his Dyno including mine!! I thought others would find it interesting what one does.. but im pretty sure I talked about HDs with Huge numbers.. honestly if you unsubscribed because of that! I'll still ride with yea! 😎 😎 hell,, I'll race if you wanted!! Hahaha
@@Ridingfish It's not just this video it's like you are obsessed with comparing victory/Polaris Indian to Harley. Who cares if Polaris is faster the speed limits are 55-75 and these arent sportbikes
This was really about making base line and seeing what I do in the future changes my power!! But after talking we thought it was interesting to talk about other base line runs as well as builds!! HD is the big dog why would I not compare them? Ps he only has HD on his dyno.. im the first Indian Motorcycle.. but I hear you bro!
@@Ridingfish Ride safe that is a beautiful Pursuit you got. I haven't had a chance to ride one yet but hopefully will soon. I like the red scheme one the best
Looks like it's 1000lbs
I put it on the scale and it was around 1150 lbs with me on it.. not very loaded
