The flyer indoors on the 4.53mm might have been a light pellet in the tin. I weigh the pellets to remove below 8.40gr and above 8.60gr - sad I know, but want to kill them clean. There are always some down to 7.90gr, which fly a bit higher as you might expect. AAS510 groups better with JSB 8.44 4.52mm than AA fields 8.44 4.50mm - haven't tried many others.

It's a minefield with so many variables let alone you as the shooter too. It's all about reducing the errors and weighing would certainly be the way to go for consistency

Indoors is probably the best place to do this type of test. The JSB’s seem to work well in most guns.

I've heard that they are quite soft compared to other pellets so maybe conform and rifle easier than a harder pellet?

Massively, had a bsa lightning xl that ran at 8.7-9.2 with all the pellets I had including jsb exact, rws superfield 4.52,anything small er just shotgunned.
    Read euro barrels like 4.53.
Got a sample jsb 4.53 and the rifle was actually doing 11.7ftlb and was pinpoint accurate.
Just about to buy a supersport and have a 4.53 sample on the way as a first port of call.
Testing is all part of the fun though😊

Life would be boring if we all settled on the 1st option. I've not seen any other manufacturers offering a larger head size but it does seem to make a difference?

JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy are the worst pallets I've ever shot. The box says 5.52 caliber but in reality the head size of all pallets is 5.47 - 5.48.

The tin I've got in .177 seems to be quite accurate
However, more than enough people on the forums have stated that the recent quality of the JSB heavies have been atrocious

Indoors , with rifle rested on cradle as to eliminate human error .. that would give a more positive result .. but yeah , head sizes do make a difference ... nice rifle btw , got the first generation brocock bantam sniper hr , excellent rifle . Shot spread is a bit erratic with lighter pellets FPS ( you wouldn't think so with a HUMA reg would you ) but tightens up with 10.34's & QYS-magnums .. weird , but accuracy is excellent with all weights , so aint really concerned there MAY be a reg problem ..

I had some great results with the QYS Magnums, got a few more to try.

I would like to ask you. Do you think that the rifles pcp sub12,pcp FAC,lr22,.223 and 308........ are more popular than shotgun in sport shooting , hunting and general in UK ? Thank.

Not sure, I'd say that air guns are more prevalence than fire arms due to no licence , but I'd summise that more fire arms licence holders including shotgun take part in hunting
