Twenty years later,Obasanjo was released from prison, where he was awaiting hangman, ran for president & won. With Atiku Abubakar, for eight years, no single improvement to our electricity supply, looted S16b dollars, 2nd session of National Assembly, appropriated to attained adequate electricity. Minister of justice, chief Bola Ige, was assassinated by FGN detailed security attaché, & till date, no culprit was ever brought to book for his murder.
Obasanjo lacks good record & credibility with Nigerians.
Chief Obasanjo & Atiku, in 1999 at inception promised new second Niger bridge, abandoned Lagos to Ibadan expressway & no single grid was added to improved our power sector. Obasanjo’s an Igbo by his father, not Yoruba. First Yoruba ever elected as president is president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

So articulate at your age. May you live long. The younger generation need to hear more of your voice. You have told us that only God is perfect and that his grace is sufficient for you. OBJ as a leader is exceptional, even with his sins, as some may always echo. Listening to him, my goose pimples are un-hidden,. He is a leader outstanding with facts, truth, sincerity of human weakness & admission of God's presence. He is a leader to be listened to. Again on the Obi, some twist it about, when it is obvious: It is not about Obi, but a Nigeria we pursue and a man who has shown the character to deliver. If you are passionate about this country, you will be passionate about what dynamics it goes through and will be honest not to put a square peg in a round hole when you seek a rounded shape. OBJ is spot on and has my respect for all time. I yearn to chat with him and the wisdom he exudes about our nation, that's my aspiration!

Sincerely, it is very good to write books giving accounts of old events. That is why OBASANJO is ahead of all our former Nigerian leaders; he gives us the gist of all the past events and deals, even though the story might not be 100% true, but that will give us an idea. Our former presidents like IBB, governors like Ambode, and other political leaders should help the next generation with details of the past so that we can have so many angles on Nigeria's history, especially what led to the Nigeria-Biafran War.

As a Military top brass during the Nigerian/Biafra civil war he defended and fought for one Nigeria. As a Civilian President, President Obasanjo was so good that he is now used as a yardstick for future Presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Post Presidential duties in Africa and around the world has also shown that Africa and Nigeria in particular can produce very good Statesmen. A leader who rises above all expectations.
