My comment was based on the video. I emphasised it bcos I admired the fact that he didn’t stop learning even at his age and that inspires me.

this man did the Operation Feed the Nation Project, brought telecommunications to nigeria basically, turned us into a country with democratic rule amidst others, we all might never do half of what he did if we were there, let's appreciate the little he did at least better than GMB who we cannot point to any project he started and finished .... no one can ever be perfect ... the man who did 2 things is better than the one who promised 10 and did none

    • @pedroodubayothompson7763

My friend, he did too little, he must have done more. The restructure that we're crying for today would have been done during his regime, the same for electricity and more. Since he failed on those basic things, he will forever be on the wrong side of history in my mind. Mind you, that Nigeria was moving far better under Gowon and then Muritala, and the fast train got derailed during OBJ's time, partly also bc of the strong northern oppositions to some of his policies, but if he wanted to execute his plan for Nigerians, I'm sure he would have done it bc he's a man of strong will when he wants to. Unfortunately, he succumbed to corruption rather than draining the swarm.

OBJ is no saint , but by far he is the best we have had . It takes a man who understands his limitations to assemble the team he worked with during the period he was in power . Yes , you could say what you want about corruption and abuse of power , but that has been recurrent with all the HOS we have had . However , I will rather have a President that is intelligent ,that offers you something to be proud about , that can stand on his own and not be prodded , that is analytical , even if it is wrongly and that is able to accept his errors . I think we missed an opportunity when the momentum of his leadership was punctured by the coming of Yar adua .

If you want Your country to prosper. you will no that he is very corrupt. Your recycled leaders are the very reason your country is the way it is unprogressive. During his tenure over 20 billion dollars was missing. Imagine what that money could have done in upgrading your countries infrastructure Power, roads, clean water system, agriculture. Your country imports fuel because some of the beneficiaries don't want your refineries to work I can go on and on. Power alone will jumpstart your economy because a lot of young people can start certain kinds of businesses
