This man has received all kinds of insults and yet he still remains the most admired of them all.Very down to earth ,humourous, easy to relate with.Unlike our leaders of today, publish a little truth about their bad deeds, you are lock up or even killed.God bless OBJ..Amen
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Ibrahim Jesse I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Honestly, baba is highly gifted. He is a generous person with sense of humor. He may have made some mistakes in the past but presently I think he wants better Nigeria.
I seriously learnt a lot from this interview from start to finish. E.g when one stops learning, he/she starts dying. In our dealing with others socially, we need humor if we must get more of their time. If you love Sir Teju's Show, Hit the LIKE button. I so much live his show, truly and very much educating.
No one is perfect, but there are inperfection that can fix things together, he can use his in perfect to make things work than you claiming to perfect and can not perfect things, i want this man to come back as a president
I renounced and withdrawn all the negative statements have said about this living legend. If you wanna win my heart, talk about education. Baba Obasanjo is a Fountain of wisdom. May you live longer than your great grandfather.
Take it or leave it, Obasanjo is a great Leader... God made it so and there is nothing any man can do about it... If others that rule after him have done as much as he has done, Nigeria would have been better than it is today... Thank you Teju...for this interview...This one of your best... God Bless Baba and keep him in good health... Thank you all.
I learned a lot from BABA, UNCEL SEGE, and OBJ. That to get people's attention it takes 20mins and anything from that get people pissed and heart divided that if I would want to make their heart within the discussion circle bring jokes (humorous, hilarious) Thanks, Grandpa🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️
Baba is always up-to-date on issues and very relaxed and intelligent. He earned the title of Baba of modern Nigeria. May God grant you longer life in the service of your fatherland. Amen
Olaitan Ajiboye ....And yes, my friend, just in case you didn't know....That was a quote originally said by Albert Einstein. Do not start thinking you've heard something new! Lool!
H M ...... Thanks. And when did you become a mind reader? FYI, I heard this quote for the first time when one of my secondary school teachers said it, and that’s 3 decades ago. a few years later when he said the same thing I told him who he was quoting. My comment was based on the video. I emphasised it bcos I admired the fact that he didn’t stop learning even at his age and that inspires me.
this olaitan guy obviously didnt grow up in Nigeria.......this are thieves that symphoned Nigerias money and turned it upside down....only to start quoting...baseless theories to Nigerians.....ur actions speaks louder than your words. He has no legacy kept as far as Nigeria is concerned...every bad thing nigeria feared has happened to it....bros make i no go on.....
Michael Bentley go contest for a political post, let's see what you can do better. You don't know me nor my father, yet you spew insult on me. A bad symptom of good home training.
Whether one admires Baba OBJ or not, there is something to learn from his wealth of experience. The story of the lizard really changes his life and made him to be alive when ex-President Abacha wanted him dead in the detention. I wish one could get the book. I really learnt a lot from it - MY WATCH 1, 2, and 3. Especially My Watch 1
Experience of converting Operation Feed the Nation to Obasanjo Farm Nigeria ,immediately after your BOSS, General Muritala Mohammed was killed.Experience of HALIBURTON and OIL BLOCKS. Experience of DECEIT,BACKBITING,TREACHERY and KILLING BOLA IGE. No wonder your country is called a SHITHOLE.
I really don't know how I am seeing this late but this is awesome. I learnt so much within 23 minutes. I guess the problem after being educated is that most people don't look to create! After learning the next step should be creation!
Obasanjo was Uncle Sege in the 70s during the FESTAC era. The alias was actually coined by the Secondary School Students of the time. The alias changed to something else after he handed over to SHAGARI on a silver platter.
I always love Baba Iyabo. But I was not happy that Nigeria was still in dark after his 8 years. He should have fixed the power electric problem of Nigeria before he left and not the Telecom. Well we are taking it back and he knew that the atikulated man is so nefarious. God bless Nigeria
OBJ is no saint , but by far he is the best we have had . It takes a man who understands his limitations to assemble the team he worked with during the period he was in power . Yes , you could say what you want about corruption and abuse of power , but that has been recurrent with all the HOS we have had . However , I will rather have a President that is intelligent ,that offers you something to be proud about , that can stand on his own and not be prodded , that is analytical , even if it is wrongly and that is able to accept his errors . I think we missed an opportunity when the momentum of his leadership was punctured by the coming of Yar adua .
If you want Your country to prosper. you will no that he is very corrupt. Your recycled leaders are the very reason your country is the way it is unprogressive. During his tenure over 20 billion dollars was missing. Imagine what that money could have done in upgrading your countries infrastructure Power, roads, clean water system, agriculture. Your country imports fuel because some of the beneficiaries don't want your refineries to work I can go on and on. Power alone will jumpstart your economy because a lot of young people can start certain kinds of businesses
this man did the Operation Feed the Nation Project, brought telecommunications to nigeria basically, turned us into a country with democratic rule amidst others, we all might never do half of what he did if we were there, let's appreciate the little he did at least better than GMB who we cannot point to any project he started and finished .... no one can ever be perfect ... the man who did 2 things is better than the one who promised 10 and did none
My friend, he did too little, he must have done more. The restructure that we're crying for today would have been done during his regime, the same for electricity and more. Since he failed on those basic things, he will forever be on the wrong side of history in my mind. Mind you, that Nigeria was moving far better under Gowon and then Muritala, and the fast train got derailed during OBJ's time, partly also bc of the strong northern oppositions to some of his policies, but if he wanted to execute his plan for Nigerians, I'm sure he would have done it bc he's a man of strong will when he wants to. Unfortunately, he succumbed to corruption rather than draining the swarm.
Firstly i didn't vote for PMB...but this comment is interpreting your personality... I will just advise you to educate yourself on what is called GOVERNMENT AND GOVERNANCE.
Still strong and kicking. Baba Obasanjo "epe fun wa oo,amen". We Yorubas in the diasporia pray for your long life. Baba, please make sure our tribe (Yoruba) keep progressing and developing so that your grand children will grow up to enjoy your sweat. You are a very famousand well known person in the whole world, you make us proud. Thank you sir baba Iyabo or do you prefer to be address as sir baba shege? We love you.
I have my reservation for baba as many others do,but the fact remains that his spell at governance both as military and civilian show he meant well for the people
I continue to wonder how someone like OBJ is celebrated by some youths, one of the old politicians who drove Nigeria into the ground and current state. When are the youths especially say enough is enough. That is the question I ask....alaru ton je buredi.....A word is enough for the wise!
