Got a K1 Max ang got rid after a two weeks, zero quality control, bad design and horrible customer service. Got a P1S instead and am happy with that.

The k1 isn't even a fight it's almost as much of a shit Show then the ender 7 like 5 good print after that its horrible because of the big Design and quality issues. The only brands that are still competitive for at home use are Bambu, prusia and maybe formlabs.

@@3DPrintDood a yes like 99% of all other people that's used the k1, I have used and built many prints like
      artillery X1, X2 genius
      Ender k1,3, 3s1, 5 pro, 7
      Build 2 vorons,
      Opiliones delta printer
Own a p1s currently and use and manage 4 x1c-e at work. The ender 3 was long time great value with the right upgrades, the s1 series is solid and I like the spider extruders. But there ,,higher" tier printers where always horribly unreliable and not worth the money at all.
Like ender 5 is okay if you wanna mod the hell out of it.
Big prints I would easily say go for artillery sidewinder X2 with a bontech nozzle or if you have the money hole extruder
But for people that just wanna print and not work on the printer I would say X1,P1s maybe a1 after the recall.
If you have the money and know what your doing formlabs or a prusia can be great in some cases.
But both Bambu labs speed reliably, how easy it is to maintain and all the nice guides they make + the software makes it closet by a very long shot to a end Consumer at home 3d printer that doesn't require interest into the technology itself like a paper printer.
Would have loved to see a non Chinese company do this first or even a company like prusia but Prince to performance the P1s if you know how to add spaghetti Detection/otherwise the X1C is by far the best price to performance machine there is. There the apple of 3d printers in the best and worse way of that meaning but just like apple its very polished and idiot proof.
