I believe this is a great video. I bought a net a couple years ago with an extra large outdoor mat. I routinely use it while the kiddos are playing outdoors. I am never concerned about the ball flight when hitting into the net. Instead, I’m focused on the sound, feeling, and technique. It’s also helped me tremendously when I’ve found myself not hitting as well. I definitely recommend getting a net setup and voice caddie to assist you in sharpening your game.
I've used this video 2 times a week at my house and my net. Not focusing on where the ball is going has given me a much better back swing and added distance and great direction. Honestly the video I needed during this quarantine. You guys are awesome!
You both have everything you need for a home set up. I have been hitting small whiffle balls all around my yard. Thank you Andy and Piers for your kindness and generosity. It’s great to see everyone coming together in these unprecedented times. Stay safe and keep the video’s coming.
You guys never fail to entertain an educate. I love it! We’re lucky here-(shhhhh don’t tell anyone) but we can still get out and play golf - proper social distancing -but no sharing carts - watch ya’ll religiously and it’s paying off! Keep it up!
Both of your setups are AWESOME! I have a 10x10x10 golf cage in my backyard and valuing its use more so with our present lockdown situation. I'm also revisiting video games with all of this time and am proving to be quite the efficiano. That's hawaiian for "pretty darn good". Ah no the video games are not golf related and yes I'm ashamed.
Good tips, I like the slow mo that both demonstrated, I don't have the video or trac man, so good idea about using a window. I have the practice mat and I am using wiffle type golf balls. Good tips as always. I guess I can most relate to Andy's setup.
Just bought net and using lousy weather this spring to practice in my garage. Does it make a difference in that your feet are on the ground and about an inch below the level of the ball. Like your backyard and the train adds a level of interest and helps you to tell time when your outside. Bob
Thanks for this video guys and enjoy seeing a difference to a real person. I have a video of me trying to hit!! I don't play regularly and can see I would benefit from your advice. Could you let me know the cost of your advice if possible please? I am staring your basic course whilst in lockdown, and mentioned my wife is also starting, but forgot to mention she is a leftie. Keep the great advice videos coming. Lee
How did your PGA nets hold up, chaps? Read some horrendous reviews about rapid wear and/or letting balls through after a solid drive... But you’re the guys I’d trust for an honest answer. Probably more one for Andy given you were using real balls (and have the trains to consider!) 😆
I thought Trac man was some sort of radar device that follows the complete flight of the ball. The flight from the mat to the net must be producing really odd Trac man data. Maybe a launch monitor is what Piers needs, or at least someone to explain the difference between the devices. Cheers Ian
Piers you could put a bit of wood down so your on same level as your “turf”. Gota say piers is a slightly better set up I mean it’s the masters chair that swings it nothing to do with the trackman
Loving your work guys, thanks very much. I really want to get a practice mat and net. Are there any sensibly priced ones you would recommend? Or anyone else reading this who could recommend some would be great.
Hey Guys, I would love to take advantage of the 30 day trial. I had a look on the website and it still shows 7 day trial. Do I just sign up for the 7 day and it will last 30? Thanks guys 👍
Good video guys but those mats aren't going to last very long if you take a divot. That is from experience. Mine lasted about a week. Andy is set up better because his putting practice area is next to the frig. Lol
Hi James. We just released an indoor series over on our website. Plus we have plenty more going on over the next few weeks. You can have 3o days free if you user the code home30.
Thanks Andy and Piers for the great video! Love both set ups! I have been working on my strike and contact during this period by using tapes to locate my strike location. Even though not uncommonly I can hit off the centre or somewhere near the entre, I wonder if I may be hitting too high off the face as the ball marks often start at the 3rd/4th groove from the bottom and middle of the mark at the 5/6th groove. I saw some photos online that ideally it should be lower? Does that indicate a problem in my swing and if yes how can i change it? Many thanks!
None available on American golf. All nets on amazon have poor reviews with comments suggesting the ball goes through the net on full shots 😒 this video had me pumped too lol
@@meandmygolf. thanks a lot ! I do not know if it's already done but it would be interesting to have a video on the downswing and especially how to switch to a more "horizontal" plane to delay the arming of the wrists (like the pros) it is indeed not easy to change his gesture to keep the arming as long as possible. if you have tips I'm interested!
Andy should be using video, he talks about feel but we know feel is not always real and it’s great to look at video later to pick up things you didn’t know you were doing.
Not to be “that guy, but 3:51 “allows you to focus on the changes YOU’RE making,” not “your” 😬 Otherwise great video, always quality content! I’ve been working on strike drills, trying to really hone in a ball-then-turf strike.
..how long bedore your next door neighbors throw trash into your yard to entice small rodents and other pests to go in there? Not like the sound of you whacking golf balls for hours os going to annoy amy of your neighbors
Who’s set up is better...Piers or Andy’s!?😂 Comment down below!👇
The comment about the mat having the rough so Piers is comfortable was savage :)
@@kevinhowe5502 Gotta have the banter kevin😂
Andy’s by far: Grass, net, 3 hitting surfaces, seclusion, shade...
Piers, not much damage if he hits a dead shank🤣🤣, has the trackman 🤩, different putting lie 🤔
That's a tough one but I have to give it to Andy. I like the garden over the driveway.
Andy: "We've got the rough here for Piers just so he feels comfortable..." 😂😂😂
😂😂

Thanks so much for sharing this! You've shown me how helpful having this setup will be at home!!!
Both the setups look great. You guys have the bases covered. Keep up the good work it is appreciated
Thanks Jeff. Hope you're safe and well.

Pleasure Donna. Glad you are able to still play. It must be great being able to get on the course.
Andy has the obtainable everyday man’s set up but Piers has a few dream elements to his. Fantastic work gents keep it up!
I like to keep things simple Tom.👍
Thanks guys. Much needed videos. Helps to keep me sane during these tough times. Stay Home Stay Safe
Glad you enjoyed it Dave

Love both setups, trakman nice one Piers certainly best the sheet set up on the goal in my garden
Thanks, Men! Job well done in tough times.
You guys rock. Your content is changing my game. Much love from South Africa.
Thanks Peter! Happy to hear the content is helping your game!👍

Thanks Josh. Yes the slo mo's are key to change.
I like Piers set up, mainly for the putting option.
They're both winners,no kids or wives hanging about giving them earache 😂👍🏻
That's what wearing the same clothes all the time will do for you and your mate!

Thank you for offering a 30 day trial
aloo la verdad imprecionante video me gusto ansioso de el siguiente grabación los dejo les dejo cariños gracias
Love the videos fellas. My issue on the range is I hit it left and right and sometimes straight but can't feel what I'm doing wrong. Any thoughts?
Thanks for this video guys and enjoy seeing a difference to a real person.

Cool. Thanks for the vid

Piers , because of the Trac man, and larger camera, both are winners 🏌️♂️🏌️🏌️♀️👍👍

I need to get one of those nets, lots of time on my hands to get some qualitative practice! Thanks for the videos!
Yes it's been great having it. Hopefully there are more available now
@Alan Roddis you are a Savage 😎
I like Andy’s setup better but Piers wins simply with that chair from the masters! Thanks for the home tips fellas. Be safe
Thanks Dewey. I have a Masters chair too but left it in the house.
Really good video guys 👍⛳️🏌️♀️
Thanks Russell. Glad you enjoyed it
Great stay at home set up
Piers you could put a bit of wood down so your on same level as your “turf”. Gota say piers is a slightly better set up I mean it’s the masters chair that swings it nothing to do with the trackman
Thanks Dan. Hope you're safe and well.
Where can I buy that polo!!! LOVE IT!!!
Loving your work guys, thanks very much. I really want to get a practice mat and net. Are there any sensibly priced ones you would recommend? Or anyone else reading this who could recommend some would be great.
That an S5 I spot on your driveway 😁
When you use the net how far away do you stand from net and does it change with every club Cheers!
Sweet! Free 30 days. What do you guys think about using an Iphone with the V1 app to measure angles while you are doing all of this at home training?
Yes that's great Jonathan. That's what we currently use.
What nets are you guys using?
Piers is that your S5 sportback in the background?
What net is this? Do you have a link for it?
Can I use wedges into a golf net? I’m really concerned that my lob wedge will go over the net from 8ft
What's the net and 3 way terrain mat and where do you get 'em? :)
It is rough in Wolverhampton 😂
Good video👍🏻 is that a swing speed radar next to Piers bag? How accurate do you find it?
It's pretty close Craig but the Trackman is the main one we use.
Net looks good. Where did you get it/ what brand is it? Cheers!
It's the PGA Tour net. We got ours from American Golf
Which golf net do you have? There's lots online with bad reviews so just wondering. Having to use old duvets in the garden at the moment.
We’ve got the official PGA Golf net!👍
which net is that?
Hey Guys, I would love to take advantage of the 30 day trial. I had a look on the website and it still shows 7 day trial. Do I just sign up for the 7 day and it will last 30? Thanks guys 👍
Hi Paul. If you use the code home30 at check out this will give you 3o days free. Hope that helps.

Hi guys i live in a 2 bedroom flat with no outside area. Do you have any tips for indoors im a 27 handicapper if that helps?. Thanks
Hi James. We just released an indoor series over on our website. Plus we have plenty more going on over the next few weeks. You can have 3o days free if you user the code home30.
A good option is to go to the local park and set your net up there.
Would u mind telling me your mat and ball catch. I’m looking into at home practice.
It's the PGA Tour net. We got it from American Golf
Hey guys what net do you have as can’t find anything that has a decent net
HI Joe. It's the PGA Tour net and we got it from American Golf
Which mat is that ?
It was from American Golf.
can you link where you got the nets from please
Hi Logan. We got ours from American Golf
Thanks Andy and Piers for the great video! Love both set ups!

Hi Jasper. To be honest, that is pretty close. I don't think that is anything to worry about.
News reported that after a shank some passengers of the train got injured 😇
Great video, guys. What brand nets and turf were you using? Recommend them?
It's the PGA Tour Net. We got ours from American Golf
Meandmygolf Thanks, gents!
Did Pierce win the coin flip for the trackman? Or an arm wrestle?
He needs it more than me😂😉
Compared to you, wouldn’t he be ok with a yard stick?
Looking forward to the free trial.....Thanks. Do you use real balls in the net????
Yes Grant. Piers was using some softer ones but I was using real balls. Make sure you check out the indoor drills on our website.
How come piers ended up with the trackman and not you ha, 1up piers :)
Where could I get a durable but relatively cheap net?
We got ours from American golf, could be worth checking out what kind of nets they have👍
None available on American golf. All nets on amazon have poor reviews with comments suggesting the ball goes through the net on full shots 😒 this video had me pumped too lol
Thanks I appreciate it yall
hola la verdad excelente video me gusto espero el proximo éxito me voy les dejo cariños agradecido
hey @meandmygolf, very interesting video ! I'd like your opinion, which club is best to train this way? 8, 7, 9?
Hi Robin. All of the above. It is best to mix it up as much as possible.
@@meandmygolf. thanks a lot ! We got our net from American golf!👍
Andy's house is nice, except for that train. So I'll take Pier's house which is much better.
You get use to the trains Joseph.😁

Hi Steven. I do use video also but not too much. Just when i feel I need it.
Was this the guy on master chef 🤔😂
I don't think so Brody😂
Hmmmm so this isn't the "good stuff" dang! 😂

Thanks Brett. We did noticed this after🤦♂️. Hope you are safe and well.
Or you could just go to a golf course and play?
..how long bedore your next door neighbors throw trash into your yard to entice small rodents and other pests to go in there?
