In spanish, the dialogue when erasing a save file is even sadder, the mii says like "no, you will delete all of us" and when you delete the mii says "the island may be deleted, but the memories shall stay" its the most accurate translation I can make

I honestly don’t know why the American version of this game has Block heads as shop keepers yet the European version has Robots. I’m just confused in that regard though.
I'm especially confused about why the heck does the american version replace sumo with FOOTBALL rather than wrestling

I have spent unhealthy amount of hours on tomodachi life. It's a great game, but not everyone likes it.
You can't convince me this wasn't just an excuse for dpad to upload his tomodachi life let's play.
I find it ironic that his 2 favorite foods are Banana peels and Moldy bread but his 2 least favorite foods are ice cream and apple pie

The meet me on the roof dialogue is so weird and borderline creepy...and it's weird how sometimes Miis won't recognize their own partners or best friends behind the "disguise"
There are many creepy moments in the game. Some of the dreams have jump scares, like the one where the front camera of the 3DS turns on and you see yourself staring at the Mii from outside the window.

Actually, quick fact. Tomodachi life is actually the second game in the series. The original Tomodachi life, which was called Tomodachi collection, released on ds only in Japan.
True, but when I mentioned the original Tomodachi Life, i specifically meant 'Tomodachi Collection: New Life'.
I found out originally they were gonna localize it everywhere else but because of voice problems or something in was only available in JP.
@@c_kr3t358 yeah, they couldnt make a proper port for other countries because the voices wouldn't properly adapt with the languages so they decided to scrap making it global.

Is anyone else hoping this game gets a port or sequel to the switch? I actually dug up my old 3DS just to play it again
same.. the worst part in my case though is that i recently found out my cartridge is slightly borked.. you know the contacts that connect to your ds.. well one of the strips that are supposed to be straight is broken on my copy.. it still plays the game but sometimes the connection seems a bit shoddy like earlier today where my screen went black for like 10 seconds after one of my miis found a lost item it crashed just before the returning scene

It is almost impossible to get every item now because special food comes from traveling islanders and there isn't as many people playing anymore

Ngl, when mii-pad dissolved, it reminded me of when I first saw that happen. It was at night, fed a mii something they hated, then the animation played and i got scared outta my pants. Had to wait until morning to see the rest of it i think

This was one of my favorite games, one reason being that Nintendo used reallife images, and the thing is that if you leave the game and come back about a month or 2, they will tell you that they missed you, I also like it because of the funny and strange dreams, minigames, and news, their reactions to certain types of food makes me laugh, I also like all the different areas on your islands like the houses, I like that the Miis can get married and have kids, the rap battle is funny and the music you can make, my three most favorite things about the game is quirky questions, the arcade game, and that voting game, I basically like everything about it

The falling sequence isn’t, but I believe all the dreams in the background of it are real. The Vsause dream isn’t real, of course, and the jumpscare at the end is fake.
Literally in 2013, tomodachi life, animal crossing new leaf, Mario kart Wii online, and super Mario 3D world were my LIFE
longtime player of tomodachi life here (5+ years) and there's actually two newscasts per day! one at 7am and one at 7pm. they're scheduled every day :)

Nope. Miitomo came out in 2016, a rough two years after Tomodachi Life. Mr. Tomo is most likely a reference to Tomodachi Collection for the Nintendo DS with the "Tomo" from Tomodachi being part of his name.

Being European, it was always weird to see the wooden block for the shop keeper instead of the robot, I also just think the robot version looks better.

I remember I added a youtubers mii to my island once using their qr code and the friendship tester said that we were 100% perfect friends and our mii were best friends for like 2 months until they suddenly started hating each other at random and it's been like that for years I have no idea what happened between them.
I remember my lookalike having 100% relationship (the romantic one) with like eight miis, finally got married after FIVE YEARS and married someone who's relationship was like "Ketchup And Ice Cream"....

The elf costume’s description at 11:32 references the movie Elf released in 2003, this directly references a line in the movie where Buddy the Elf, played as Will Ferrel, where he says “Technically I’m a human, raised by elves.” Hope someone found this interesting.

One of- no. My FAVOURITE tomodachi life song I created when I was little was called “I smell burnt toast” (Yes.) And all the lyrics where random spammed characters and it was the funniest thing I have ever experienced coming back to them after so many years.

Here is an Easter egg I recently discovered during the birthday news report if you blow into the mic while they’re singing happy birthday the candles will go out early
I played this game alot back when it was new. I remember the first interaction my first 2 villagers had was fighting over half an avacado. In their spare time, one would wander aimlessly around the apartment while the other would roll around on the floor. I loved them.
To clear up something about giving your Miis a Wii U:
They are actually playing Nintendo Land. Here is how you tell if they are-
Link Game - Miis swinging the remotes while the gamepad user fires arrows
Metroid Game - Easiest to tell when the remote users do the three jump pose
Octopus Dance - When they are dancing
Ninja House - When the gamepad is being held sideways
These are all the ones I've come across, but it's still cool none the less.

If Tomodachi life is ever ported to the switch, I hope that the American version gets that word chain game! It looks really fun... really reminds me of word spud. I also hope that someday we get the tomodachi life port to switch... or a sequel. I’d love to play tomodachi life with the crazy makeup available for the ported Miitopia.
I am surprised that no one notices a great detail of Tomodachi Life, the curiosity is that depending on the season we are in, the day will get longer or shorter.
Another curiosity, during the lunar phases, if it is a crescent phase the moon will rise at noon, and then at night it will be seen to be about to set, when it is a full moon, it appears all night, if it is a new moon, it will appear at day (not visible), and if it is a decreasing moon, it will rise later as it decreases. (The funny thing about it is that these realistic details in animal crossing do not exist)
One last curiosity, the environmental sounds of the main menu of the island will vary depending on the weather, and also depending on the version of the game that is being played they have different sounds for each season, and the food store, in summer, will turn on the fan.
