They were only funny/interesting the first time. But "extended exposure" to them has just rendered a bad taste on them.
There is a third variant called a "Twerpea".
Fun fact: Replica dark lords color scheme is the same as the weakest imp enemies and the phantom of evil has the Color Scheme of an naughty imp.
There is Light Lord the has the colour scheme of another imp. The Phantom of Evil also has the colour scheme of one of the imp types.

Here are some other facts in miitopia:
-When the mage & cleric use the horse whispering attack, the horse has white wings, but when the imp & vampire use it the horse has dark wings. (although that might be kinda obvious)
-There's a subtle detail where mii's breathing change depending on the personality, for example energetic miis have the fastest breathing while laid-back miis have the slowest breathing.
-The miis personalities also can effect the "give a gift to a mii" cutscene or one of the outing events for the cafe.
There’s an outing one for the library as well. For example, my main character is stubborn, and was reading a book. And when my other character asked to read it, my main said „Not yet!“ and STUBBORN was shown above them.

Kinda sucks that only the player character can use the horse whisper ability, especially if you play like I do and stick to the three main classes you chose throughout the first part of the game. Also one of my favorites outings is the park one where the rock moth steals your food, I just like seeing the monster being interacted with outside of battle
They made sure only the player can use horse whisper so it doesn't make the bosses too easy
Edit: also not sure if you know but there's a funny glitch in that scene if you press b or any speed up button when the rock moth appears you'll see a funny glitch
Also the fact that letting the CPU use it could potentially just delete a party member's MP at any point.
Honestly it would just leave utter chaos if they made it so CPU’s could use horseplay. Bosses would just be non existent, and so would MP. I mean MP candies won’t restore enough since who uses it over the sprinkles, and well you have a very limited amount of sprinkles which isn’t good if your party is filled with mii’s that just use up all of their MP, say like wizard and tank.
@@gameguin6113 I use the candies because I have 80 for some reason. I ask for bananas, and I get MP candy. Beg for anything other than MP candy, get MP candy. I need help. Also the cleric version is dreadfully underrated. Revive all downed members, heal everyone to full, restore MP by a quarter... Just so powerful...
Sean Johnisee I agree with you on the cleric horseplay being amazing when needing to heal. Also about your MP candies situation, your getting unlucky. Also the reason you gain 80 from one MP candy means you and/or your teammates are eating a lot of them.
About the thief funny horse ability. It has a chance to steal food from the enemies
From my experience from grinding out the demo, it will ALWAYS steal food
Sometimes it fails. There is even an unique animation if the move fails to steal.
Princess with the daze effect also has a chance to fail and there is special text if it fails for all enemies. Which by the way the fact part of that move despite using all your mp can fail sucks.
Edit - This video has the failed version of the Thief move. Still deals damage, just doesn't steal food. Didn't see the video far enough to see that in my initial comment.

this is correct, yep yep! in one of my runs i was going to swap the protag to vampire when i unlocked it (i even gave them a cute goth theme for the occasion lmao), but i was having too much fun playin princess and decided to stick with it

Twerkey has a second form, with a mouth *and eyes* on their rumps; called Twergull.
Also, you can get the Vampire to show up as soon as you progress to the other side of the river in Perculia; regardless if you have seen the credits or not; unlike Elf, which does need you to unlock the post-game side-areas (Galados and New Lumios(?)).

Which area do I encounter them in? I assume New Lumios(?) as that's the only region I haven't been to. (I want to go somewhere new once I have elves… real dumb I have to explore nearly the entire world in order to unlock all the jobs, and elf doesn't look like that good of a job, I just need it for certain people I wish to add to my party.
@@RealmsCrossMyths They are mostly found in the strech of Galados Isle where you get the elf job. Though they can pop up in some quests from the traveller's hub, mainly quests to Peculia and Nimbus. As for apearence, eyes, eyebrows and mouth on their behind
So, it is Twergull and you get the Elf job in Galados Isle. Ps, you said prgross instead of progress.

Another detail to Horse-whispering is that when a Mage or Cleric uses it, the horse grows light wings, and when an Imp or Vampire uses it, the horse grows dark wings.
HW Scientist hits up to three enemies three times.
HW Vampire hits *all* enemies *multiple* times; I use it to sweep large fights, even boses.
That's a compelling argument, but my rebuttal is that in the scientist one it looks like the horse is having fun being a scientist themselves :]

I bring my argument, the horse gets glowing red eyes and black angel wings (why not bat wings? who knows…); who doesn't have fun pretending to be an edge lord?
The scientist horse just puts on safety glasses… The scientist needs huge kabooms to be cool; sure, it has two big guns; but so does the tank, but at least the tank's guns actually cause explosions.
Even the imp's horse whisperer attack has an explosion of sorts.

Although it's not an attacking one, the horse looks happy with a princess dancing on it, it inflicts Praise, the best status effect, and guard down, which will make the enemy take huge damage.

Actually, in the original miitopia, you could choose to only equip stats, but it was hard to do and you had to go through annoying menus.

There is a easy way to get elf job, be a cleric and use the one hit KO move, everything there can be hit by it, you have to be level 11 though
Imp also has an insta kill move!

I said it for the 3DS version, and I'll say it again: they did NOT need to put this much detail in a MII GAME.

I thought you would explain every weapon and clothing that has a pop culture reference. Okay, let me talk about the two I found:
The super clothes available for all professions are based on the Japanese long-form superhero TV series Super Sentai series and its American adaptation of the Power Rangers series. They will use this series to represent all superheroes. I think it’s because players in Asia and Europe and the United States will know this reference, even though I’d be happy to dress up as Superman, and fight alongside with my companions dressed as Spiderman, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider.
The second is the heart clothes that all professions have. They are based on the Japanese long-length magical girl animation Pretty Cure series. This series will launch a new magical girl animation every year, so it has become a favorite for Asian audiences to show to children. The first series of magical girl animation that comes to mind. When I play Miitopia, most of the characters use this kind of clothes, because except for myself in the game, all the characters are from Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya.

In the PAL version (the one I play), "HoRsE wHiSpErInG" uses the far better name of Horseplay.
That sounds less dirty. Probably what the PAL locali[s/z]ers were going for when locali[s/z]ing the game.

Horseplay is used in the american version because horse whispering is just too fancy.

You can technically remove a tank's helmet in the switch version (or at the very least, make it invisible). Your Mii needs to have a wig with the Always Wear Wig setting enabled and then your tank will only wear their helmet during battles.
Make Pikachu your Mii or the horse, so that for the mage horse whispering, it’s like Pikachu used thunderbolt

I just beat the story last night and I gotta say, the pop star, imp, tank, and vampire are my favorite jobs to use. I also love the pop star's horse whispering skill. Free frenzy, enemies lose a turn, and a good heal make that one of the best next to the tank and scientist.

another part of the whole mii personality thing: their personality also changes their animations! the animation of being picked up at the inn, the animation of them literally standing in the idle animation when you create a mii, and also their sitting position when you put them in the safe spot. i might be missing something, but that's all i remember.

I experimented with the voices on the 3ds and it also seems as if the height and weight of the Mii is taken into consideration on there, being moved in increments depending on their height.
I have 2 female laid-back Miis, one is tall and one is short. The short one has a higher pitch than the average and the tall one has a lower pitch than the average.

i love that the title screen music is based off your miis in the inn, it makes me think that they're singing and having fun to pass the time.
Fun fact: your miis personality affects how your mii reacts to getting picked up in the inn and there pose in the safe spot

I also noticed another thing with the makeup music, it’s different when you edit a mii you recieved from another player, most of the time… or maybe it might be when they took the mii from someone else and then you take it from them, Anyways I noticed that and another one when the mii you’re editing has a role in game mainly the main roles like your teammates and the king and princess, Nintendo went all out with the editor’s music options

I remember watching one of Ina’s streams and hearing the makeup music and it seemed to sound like there was a lot more there in the music than I remembered. So I guess that was the case
Just a quick note: you can get the bat charm before the end of the game! I encountered the vampire npc before getting to the tower.

I'm glad that a lot of people are starting to play this game and see just how good it is, especially now with the port being advertised more heavily.
Edit: Also, the Vampire Job can actually be unlocked before the post game, but it's luck-based whether you do so.

The only one that might, _MIGHT_ be better is the Thief because of the chance to steal food, and that’s only for the effect. Imp is one of the worst because it bullies the horse.
I've a fan since the 3DS version, I love seeing this game get more love.
The makeup music is actually amazing. How the lip music sounds like whistling, the eyebrow music like the typical cartoon sound effect of raising your eyebrow, the blush has both a soft sound for when you're in love etc and a sound that sounds embarrassed
I never noticed the music changes in the makeup studio, and I've been playing this game for HOURS! That's such a cool detail!

In my opinion, the vampire is the best horseplay/ horse whispering as it damages all targets the same massage damage 3 times, where as the scientist is similar to the elf where it attacks high damage onto the target of your choice, but then half that damage onto the targets either side. You can argue this with me but I’m not changing my mind anytime soon.

when you add a Mii to your 4-person party before leaving the inn, they will say a phrase based on their personality

Thief and scientist horse whispering are the best Bec scientist does a ton of damage and the thief steals food a great way to grind
My favorite Horse Whispering Moves are probably The Tank, Scientists, and Vampire. I also have noticed that with the Tank in your party (and with most roles that involve using a teammate for an attack) the person they have the Highest relationship with is what they will use for their human Cannonball move. Sometimes having a high relationship isn't always the best because you become a target by your own teammates Xd. Over all the game is pretty fun!

The equip sats of the best clothes with any armor in the 3ds version too.
If I had to pick my favorite horse whisper I think it would be the flower, healing the party and then giving them the happy effect is really good. Happy doubles your stats although for damage I think is straight up doubled

Made one mistake, the vampire quest is unlocked after the quest that takes you to eerie road in peculia. At least, I’m pretty sure. Either that, or after 3 fave jewel quests.
For the Makeup adds more beats to the music thing I actually thought it only happened with how many party members I had.

It wasn't until AFTER I made Marco from Metal Slug that I noticed his wig would be replaced with his tank hat AND that he couldn't wear any Mii costume. I made him a tank class because... Metal Slug. Mascot vehicle is a tank.
but yeah had to modify his hair a bit so he'd still look okay even with the tank hat and fortunately it worked. But was kinda frustrating too.
But other than that, I never noticed the music thing until you pointed that out! And after seeing Ahsoka again who HAS all the features including eyeliner, lashes, and everything, it makes sense!!
Edit: Aw maaan I loved the Science and Tank horse whispering!! I wish Colress and Marco could do that but no.
6:20 I'm very very glad we both agree. Out of the normal armours these look the worst.
you’ve always been able to keep just the stats. i did that with almost every mii in my original game.
But it’s been made easier in the switch version
The thing about that armor fact in the 3DS version you could go into the menu of the mii and change the look of the armor with out it affecting the stats meaning you could have a mii wear the final tier of armor but have it look the armor that the class started with as well as being able to mix and match the hat and clothes meaning that of course you can have the mii have the hat of the first tier but the clothes of the finial tier.
