@@FlyCat1 I don’t know much of game design/character modeling, but was wondering what the difference is between modeling clothing like you did Vs. using something like “Marvelous Designer” instead? … are there any pros / cons using one method over the other?

I'd prefer if you keep showing the reference images you use during your sculpting process like you do in 3:19 in a lot of timelapses they don't do this but it's an important part of sculpting/modelling anything. And it's also a good way to really see the process.
Love following your workflow. Hope to see more game related vids. Cool how you retopologized to incorporate some creasing geometry into the game poly model.
16:38 i have one doubt , this process of pinning the uvs and relaxing them to a grid, wont it cause so much stretching and sqaush in the uvs, and the distort the texture which is later applied to it

Love your blender tutorials, surprised you complete the entire process in blender.Do you have any tips for painting characters’ skin textures? I'm always very confused when drawing human skin textures.I see you painted red splotches in places to represent the red blood cells beneath the character's skin. Are the drawing locations of these red spots based on your observations or are there any related human anatomy tutorials?
Love the character design and process. But I think i don't quite understand the remesh of the clothing part. Since he used multires modifier to add detail to already low poly mesh, couldn't he make a copy of the low poly mesh, apply subdiv one time and do a shrinkwrap to the high poly mesh to make it fit?
So in UV editing if you put 4 verts as corners and relax the island it will make a rectangle on its own? That seems even faster than "follow active quads" workflow, isn't it?
What focal length values should be used to model a human head in blender? In what focal length values do you model the human head yourself so that it turns out beautifully in all focal length values, if possible? so that the person looks approximately the same as in life.
Amazing! I see how hard a game character is now, but I think it is fun in sone parts. Do you prettend to teach some time? I would like to learn it and make my characters
can anyone for the love of god explain to me how is he doing to straighten those UV's in blender or point me to tutorial/youtube video thank you soo much
I think laptops are not strong enough to handle tasks like this, it's better to do them on a PC. Alternatively, you can use Substance Painter or Marmoset Toolbag instead if your computer isn't strong enough for Blender baking.
@@Latte47 Imagine, you learn 3D modeling by getting a good education in a country with a very good financial situation. And instead of teaching this to people who are not as lucky as you, by explaining it in detail on TH-cam, you make videos just to tell people that I can do this.

Honestly your video helps me a lot when I’m stuck with retopology. It inspires me a lot to make character models myself!
Things I learned today: make seams early on, pin the UVs and relax them for easy mapping, use displacement to your advantage when creating fabric.
Its like, the same amount of time you put to blender, i did with cod and rocket league. You are so quick, and its like ur just having fun
Thank you!

The Cleanest UVs I have seen in my whole life 😻...
your anatomy is so good, also doing it 100% in Blender is impressive as always
thank you!
These timelapses teach me more than all the courses I take. Thank you very much for sharing and don't stop, hahaha
Honestly same. Glad FlyCat does what they do
I am watching your video in 2 years you are always amazing
You are the big inspiration to learn blender thank-you for all❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Nice to know that! Thank you so much!
hard to believe a software this powerful is free
its not free, you have to invest time and addons on it
@@thebuniverse6739 what you see in the video can be done without addons, addons save a lot of time though for sure

Your art always motivates me to learn blender but I end up giving up when I realize it’s way harder than it looks 😂 Great job as always
I really need the skills you have. You should make tutorial courses.

It seems like you are one of blender founders
It is amazing how everything you make perfectly
I hope you make some tutorial about the hair exactly ❤❤
water rasengan😆, good job thanks for the video
You can do the same training in a video at a normal speed. If it takes too long, divide it into parts. It's really hard to work with this video speed❤
Great work 👌. I truly love your videos, you are my inspiration to create 3D art in Blender

Wow, thank you, I learned a lot about the UVs, do you use any add on for painting or baking, or is it just the blender base?
Great work, as always! Is it possible to see the full process on artstation/gumroad?
incredible work, I would like to learn to sculpt like you, I will buy your courses friend
You make me want to learn blender
Thank you
Do you use any addons or extra programs for these? :D Looks incredible!
Is the final hair just texture on a plane?
can u share the dispalcement u used ? like the cross thingy
how long does it takes you to create a full character pls ? Love your work !
Do you also make online course videos?
Do you have course recommendation for character modelling like this? I want to learn more, there's not much tutorials on the internet
Bran sculpt might help you
Question: Why use multirez for all the objects and sculpts?
amazing work, are you going to publish it on gumroad?
such amazing as always! Is it all vanilla blender or do you use non build-in addons?
Thank you! I use two non-build in addons: Quadremesh for remesh and BlendKIT for the eyes model in this video.
Is the full time video of this character in your Patreon?
nice. how many hours did you spend on this model?
PLEASE make lessons on blender, i would give almost anything to be able to make this😭
Do you find any advantage from using Blender to bake your textures instead Substance Painter?
When you make Pointiness Bake thats the same of Cuvature Map in Substance Painter? Thanks
Yes that's correct
can anyone for the love of god explain to me how is he doing to straighten those UV's in blender or point me to tutorial/youtube video thank you soo much

Cool
Can you make slow motion tutorial ?
how you did neck.....I can't do that...
blender always crashes my potato laptop when i try to bake textures. are there any alternatives to reach this level of finish without the baking?

Hello. Please post it in real time
too fash why dont you make 10 or 20 hrs video?
So it's 34 minutes of waste of time ? Nodoby cares about your skills just tell us how do you do it ....
Bruh who asked? Go search a tutorial if you want someone to lead you by the hand. Nobody forces you to be here.

That's not modeling, it's sculpting.
Sculpting is modeling
@@yaw_cg_mdnot always, no. But this does, however, use both modeling and sculpting in equal measure to achieve the end goal.
