Can you tell me if this is a game ready chatacter? I'm learning to make characters for my game project but I just can't make a retopology that is viable. It always has too many polygons. This looks like a model made for a cg movie, but I'm no expert.
@@Rivershield It looks like FlyCat goes through an extensive retopology and UV unwrapping process for these characters, so they are very much likely game and animation ready.

Id seriously love to get my hands on this project or a tutorial that shows more in detail how you both sculpts and makes that hardsurface. I have some experience in it but id love to get more insight

The first one was more of a doing the zremesher/quad remesher's work manually. It makes for a nice topology after subdivision but I wonder how efficient it is in terms of time and effort spent on it.
This looks amazing and even more amazing when looking the timelapse the making of. IMO you should use decals for adding minor details or bake them into textures. This will help you save cpu and gpu for rendering and other VFX. Great jobs!❤❤
A silly donut making video gets 8.8 million views and a character modeling video this awesome and detailed only gets 40k views. It's really unfair that deserving people don't earn anything on the 3D Modeling platform. But it's still really excellent, it's really detailed.
When retopologysing you used sub Surf modifyer, but dosent that make IT crazy high poly?(Can you bake sub Surf, and how do you bake IT?).great model by the way you should really make a course(only Videos of you)
