Hello, I've been watching your videos for a long time, they motivate me, I can't even imagine how much time you spend on processing videos, but what you do is just cool )
I would really love to see a longer video where you break down and explain everything you're doing. So much going on so quickly it's impressive but hard to keep up with as a beginner trying to absorb the technique.
Hi FlyCat, I'm actually new to Blender, and I'm looking to upgrade my Blender's skills, I can see that you are good at blender sculpting and modelling human figures, that's exactly what I wanted, so thinking of joining your patron, want to make sure all the content in your Patreon are in normal real-time or normal modelling speed?
Hello, I'm glad you find my videos helpful. The videos I share on Patreon are all in normal speed. Please note that I don’t include any commentary in the videos.
I wish you made a course or tutorial, wehre you teach how to modle and rig characters to make them game ready (like with hair and cloth) every course out there just make characters with short hair, so they dont have to bother adding any movement to hair etc.... please bring grace uppon us and teach us your ways. I just want to be capable to do what you are doing ... I admire your skills and knowledge sooo much
Well if you can find high quality model or 3d scan u can use the texture for you character. You would have to match the uvs for ur mesh so it can fit the texture but if u can use Wrap 4D or zwrap you can do it easily.
@@VishalVerma-sj2si you can watch vface + wrap texture tutorial to understand this more indepth. Although vface and wrap costs money i think u can find other workaround
It would be very helpful to me if you upload the entire process as a tutorial. But even if you don't, this video is very helpful and very motivating to me. Thanks a lot!
Fantastic work my friend! If you ever have time to spare definitely consider making a Blender Character Creation Course, I'm fairly certain it would sell like hotcakes just because your workflow from start to finish is that good just watching all of your Timelapses!
👍👍👍 Very cool. You should make detailed tutorials on Gumroad or so. What bothered me is her neck seems long. Not sure what reference did you use. Anyways this's epic creation.
Love your channel has really helped me with blender I was wondering how you were able to do your hair was it an add on or a brush I'm always having trouble with hair on my models can you point me to the right direction?
Hello i have a question for you, i ve been doing a female face for 2 weeks and i want to cover it with albedo map. But whenever i try to edit the uvs for albedo, for each edit (even selecting a uv vertex) my ram costs a half gb. I searched about it and i found out the reason is multires modifier. But you re using multires modifier too. What could be the problem? btw your art is awesome keep up the good work
FlyCat: 1.Add a cube, 2. add a subsurf, 3. some minor corrections, 4. Anatomy correct head is ready! Me: 1. Add a cube, 2. Add a subsurf, 3. add a LOT of scuplting corrections, ... 768. Anatomy incorrect troll's head is not yet ready after 3 days of sculpting I liked logo intro music, please keep it
It's really good but I think you should work on the hair part more and make a new hair. The hair part could have a more realistic structure. Maybe a braid.
this is freakin amazing. I have a particular question though - how do you deal with the edges of the eyes where they meet the eyelids? they look pretty soft here and usually a hard edge is a dead giveaway that its cg, or am I mistaken?
Thank you! I didn't use any special techniques for this. I just snapped the vertices of the inner edge of the eyelids to the eyes. It might be the shader that's making it look that way.
You've baked both albedo and displacement, but then you've fixed the textures separately. It doesn't really matter if the parts fixed don't match albedo and displacement, right?
I want to create a face using blender. In my head, I can picture what he looks like but I can’t describe the features. Would u say using sculpting or modelling is better?
In my opinion, when we say ‘sculpt,’ it refers to doing just one specific task-sculpting it. On the other hand, ‘modeling’ seems to cover a broader scope, including sculpting, poly modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and so on. It might not be accurate for everyone, but that’s how I understand it
This is just my personal preference, not a comparison of which is better. Bsurfaces is also powerful in retopology, but I find PolyBuild more convenient to use.
Do you have long paid tutorials with commentary? I checked gumroad but couldn’t find that 😢 I would pay quite a bit to learn to sculpt even some what close to this
This channel is my biggest motivation for using Blender rn. Good work!
Thank you!
The ammount of micro details, omg. This is crazy good mate
Thank you so much!
She's unreal beautiful!😮
I like seeing you use different workflows for your different models. I learn a lot by watching your new and older videos. Thank you!!!
Great to hear that! Thanks a lot!
Manual Retop. Respect! Great result :)
Bizzarement ca me donne envie de me taper la tete contre les murs, meme en video... sans blague j'ai vite passe, je ne me sentais pas bien😂
You are a genius. I never thought of painting the UV texture and then moving the UV mesh to fit the picture perfectly. Huge help in my workflow ❤
I'm glad you found my video helpful. Thanks a lot!
just wanted to say, you're by far my favourite 3D artist, thank you for sharing your work and workflow, always really helpful !
Thank you for finding my videos useful! I'm happy to know that!

Hi, I spend several hours, sometimes up to several dozen, on each video like this. Thanks for enjoying them!
You are the motivation of blender modelers. Thank you for the great work!

They have the real time processes for almost everything they make in their gumroad, it looks well worth it.
very natural and perfectly done....
Thank you!

You can use cloud texture for the first brush it really works (and don’t forget to decrease the scale of the texture)
Use a perlin❤ noise as your alpha and make it a drag select stroke and scale smol 🙏🏽

Now it's available, have grab it! Thx
You've baked both albedo and displacement, but then you've fixed the textures separately. It doesn't really matter if the parts fixed don't match albedo and displacement, right?
Correct! It doesn’t affect anything. I still need to adjust all the textures to achieve the results I’m aiming for.
I want to create a face using blender. In my head, I can picture what he looks like but I can’t describe the features. Would u say using sculpting or modelling is better?
Sir what your device and hardware?
Brillant. Genuine question. Dont we say sculpt instead of modeling?

great
Is there any easy way to convert that hair into low poly using those splines to deform surfaces, for a maximum of 5000 triangles?
There are geo nodes for it on youtube
Amazing, can you share the model so I rig her and animate her?
what a nice work..!!
what add ons and assets did you use? awesome work!
Thank you! Add-on I used on videos was Blender-KIT for materials library and eye model, the teeth model I took from Make Human.
great work,I really want to know what add-on you use to create hair. Is that an asset or geo node?
Thank you! It's hair geometry node; available in Blender already.

Hello flycat, I want to ask you. My laptop has not external graphics card eg,gtx and rtx. Without gpu, can I use Blender for long term?
Hello flycat was wondering if u can make character for mi for ue5 . N how much u take to create for some1?
7:50 i'm just wondering what is the poly count at this point? You're sculpting very minor details and that need lots of polygons if i'm not wrong
Amazing
Thank you!

why cant all girls be this beautiful???
