I got a chance to speak to spartan assault’s composer, Tom salta. He mentioned being very inspired by Marty’s musical score. He wanted it to feel like the spirit of halo’s music was preserved and venerated. The main theme of the game is a love letter to everything he loved about the bungie halo music
Btw if anyone reading this likes listening to Halo music, listen to the Spartan Assault and Spartan Strike soundtracks. There’s some tracks in there that are easily as good as the Halo Wars music and some even as good as the Bungie games and Infinite I’d say. My top 3 from each game are below. Spartan Assault: Ready or Not Finishing the Fight Legacy Spartan Strike: Rapid Recon Spartan Strike (Reflection Remix) Mombasa Arrival Some of the tracks like Perpetual Motion, Jungle Threats, and Homeworld Bound sound very close to Joel Corelitz’s work on Halo Infinite too.
I’m happy your enjoying their 343s mobile game! It was a surprisingly fun game back when I tried it out. Sadly I never finished it so it’s awesome to see!
You're extremally underrated. The quality of this is amazing. I was shocked when I saw that you had 55 subs. I looked at that miss read it as 5.5k. You deserve so much more attention.
I like to add the declaration was peace was 2552 but didnt fully take effect till 2553. It's common that type of stuff happens like good example the declaration of independence was sign 1776 but war tension didnt really ended till 1783.
The signing of the Declaration of Independence wasn't meant to end the the fighting, it was to show the king that they were serious about no longer being apart of the empire and that the colonies were united in this endeavor.
bro what, I played this and spartan assault 2 all the time, the fact my phone also has cortana makes it baller. IM hoping one day they can ad halo wars 2 to mobile.
I loved both of these games! Im a big PC nerd and i was the first on the boat for Windows 8. When i heard a new halo game was coming out, i was all for it. people hate on it but i really enjoyed them and the backstory.
The thing was that the peace treaty of the Ceasefire between humanity and those who were in the Covenant was formed in 2552, but wasn’t in full effect until a year later in 2553. Which is like where the Declaration of Independence was signed in the year of 1776, but the tensions between the Thirteen Colonies (which is known today as the United States) and Great Britain didn’t ended until the year of 1783.
Spartan assault is pretty fun i play one in while, here and there and first time playing it was really great i loved it but it gets quite boring after u play the missions a few times
I gota say i enjoyed both the mobile games. Though i physically cant enter the games anymore they were fun. It was goofy having a full auto rocket launcher. I recommend you play the second one (Halo Spartan Strike) It is a great sequel for the game and adds a lot more stuff I do hope you play it
I 100% spartan assault and strike and it was pretty fun, more fun i had with strike i think bcs it was 2 times faster than assault (in assault i had 25 hours )
i was hesitated to play it after all that negative comments but thank god i did i had a lot of fun and playing in halo universe with another type of game was just fresh experience
I did not like this game. I hate when 343 gives us hopium by using classic designs for screenshots & teasers n sh1t. Didnt this game come out before halo 4? If so, how tf do you go from brutes, halo reach weapon returns, halo wars vehicles, & classic designs to that bs?! The grizzly sections were pretty lack luster for me too. How tf do they manage to make operating a GRIZZLY lame af!? Idk man, its pretty clear it was supposed to be a mobile game. (Also, i thought id be fighting the flood but thats only a "stupid f-ing simulation" for coop which i couldnt find a match in cause nobody plays this @ss.)

I remember when I first got my xbox 360 and played this along with CE
Never got that far into it for some reason
343's first involvement with Halo was CE Anniversary
It was actually a Halo Reach map pack. And halo waypoint on Xbox 360
@@Pedro_The_Necohalo legends was like their very 1st involvement I think
@@sumomanify that might be it!
Did 343 ever halo?
@@heavymetallabrat
Oh ha-ha, very funny and original
Man, this guy needs more subs! Keep up the good work!
343 missed an opportunity not bringing Spartan Strike to consoles. At the time, I felt it did everything better than SA

Glad to see someone else's also enjoys playing this little game

This was the most recent game with drones….
I actually don’t even remember is halo wars 2 has the buggers
SEVENTY FOUR SUBS? MY DUDE YOU DESERVE WAY MORE! KEEP IT UP! #supportfromitaly 🇮🇹
This is really well done, thank you.
I have this on steam, but it doesn’t start. I remember playing this on the phone back in the day. My brother got the phone just to play it
I heard of this game twice
I had fun playing spartan assault on the game pass and I just replayed some of the missions today
You trying Spartan Strike next?
Wait there’s a sequel?
@@neonbatteries4389 Both on Xbox as far as I know. Both flopped though and they never went far with the concept
@@Espartanica just checked and it’s a pc exclusive

wait till he found out about spartan strike
The U.I. and general gameplay reminds me a ton about the SAS zombie shooter series from Ninja Kiwi. Man this game gave me nostalgia.
Is it weird that from the footage, this reminds me very much of that old PSP game “Killzone: Liberation”?
Just wait until you find out about spartan strike
It’s a fun little game but it needed a difficulty slider. Like you said the missions range from piss easy to hard for no reason.
bro i subbed
I started playing this 2 days ago because it's one of the few games that work well with cloud gaming and it's really fun
Wait there was a CANCELED mega blocks game??? We need this now
i played this game on pc this year it's a really hard game
i spent hours on spartan assault
Halo legends was their first involvement.
I love playing that game
Spartan assault is pretty fun i play one in while, here and there and first time playing it was really great i loved it but it gets quite boring after u play the missions a few times
Ah, you did get vehicles in this!
I remember playing halo Spartan assault
The games sequel, Spartan Strike is a really good time.
Spartan Strike is even more unknown. It's the sequel that wasn't even released on Xbox. It's mobile and Windows exclusive.
I was addicted to the mobile games ngl I thought they were really well made knowing 343 when they made halo 4
Liked the video just for that GTA V meme with chief
You need to review Spartan Strike too!
That thumbnail 🤣👍
I wasn't a big fan of this game but I plan to go and finish it thus December
Same
I used to play spartan Strike on my Windows 8.1 tablet... Good times before that fella broke :(
Spartan Assault is actually very cool
I gota say i enjoyed both the mobile games. Though i physically cant enter the games anymore they were fun. It was goofy having a full auto rocket launcher.

It is a great sequel for the game and adds a lot more stuff

sub 207, this guy gonna blow up!!!!!!
This used to be a mobile game when windows phone was a thing. They should bring it back to mobile.
What was the song at 12:42?

Also didn’t this game get a sequel?
Do spartan strike
halo 4 has a needle rifle? When did that happen?
I played a fair amount of it. Was ok
honestly it should of been an FPS shooter. I also didn't like some of the tactical decisions that palmer made were questionable at best
spartan strike?
What about spartan strike the sequel
I can still play it on mobile somehow
I have halo spartan assault
You sure? Because I knew about it.
I’ll play Spartan assault co op with you if you want
wanna maybe do a collab?
Congrats with your video reaching 8k views, maybe you're good at talking about halo
