In the intro (right hand), you're off by one note in the last cluster of notes. It's C-B-G-A-E \\ C-D \\ F-E-C-D-A \\ D-C-G-A-E. Thanks for the breakdown.
Now i don't have to leave this exact comment.👍 I'm in total agreement. However, both sound reasonable. And i originally assumed the first note would be the C... since it fell in line with the F major left hand. But i listened again and realized it's a D. Came to leave the same comment and found yours. I feel the difference would hardly be noticed by the average listener, though. And for all intents and purposes, the OP did a great job on this. Helped me through a couple of snags for sure.

There is another chord that leads to the chorus, to my ear you go from the Dmaj7 to D inversion (same as before) but with an E in the bass. That is the chord that leads into the chorus. So many great Jeff Lynne songs, thanks for posting this one.
Slight correction - It goes... Bm E Bm7 C#m (Not A) D E6 E before the Amaj7 - AND you are playing the 4th line of the opening lick incorrectly. It starts on a D (not a C) and goes DCGAE.
