I've worked with memory care, and my grandma has schizophrenia and it can be a lot at times if not physically, mentally. It takes a lot of patience, care, and, love. You are beautiful inside and out. Hi Tasha. Good seeing you, grandma and big daddy today. I was going to ask if it meant the disease is progressing when they sleep a lot. My dad is 75 and was diagnosed this week with severe Alzheimer's. He talks aloud, to the tv, smiles and waves mostly to ladies on certain channels. He told me one day he talked to Oprah. I said who! He said Ophrah called him on the phone. I knew then before he was officially diagnosed that he had some form of Dementia. He seems to be sleeping more than usual this past week. It's just me and my dad. God bless you for being such a blessing to your grandparents. Much love from Dallas TX. I wish I could communicate with because because this is all new to me being just me caring for my dad. I prefer talking to people that have been through same situations opposed to talking to people just giving their opinions. What type of elderberry do you give your grandma again? You mentioned the memory patches. My dad was prescribed Rivastigmine patches and Memantine pills for his memory.

Like I SD before, I wish people would be more open minded and stop trying to find negativity in everything smfh. How about giving you credit and actually learning a little something from you. How about not over looking at the fact that you put your life on pause to care for them VS what some people do like shipping them to a nursing home and forgetting about them. It gets me hard cuz all my life I've done patient care and Dementia is a very hard and sad disease to deal with and that's how abuse comes about so with that being said I wish the services would use your strategy as you make it look so much more easy than it really is. You are f*****g great and the love is real. Girl, so what if you get paid? So many people (family members) get paid for taking care of even their parents so there is nothing wrong with you getting paid plus @ the end of the day the past 3 years she had to be fed and have basic necessity as well as personal and just so you know for tax time you can claim everything too including any training for like CPR and stuff. Tasha, I just found your channel. It just popped up on my TH-cam. And I am fully enjoying it. Your grandma is so sweet and funny. And you took really good care of her. And I'm amazed at how patient you are with her. You teach us how to be patient and care for someone with dementia.

OMG!!!!!! soooo happy to see you Tash and to hear your grandparents just makes my day....Love to hear her voice... Like I SD before, I wish people would be more open minded and stop trying to find negativity in everything smfh. How about giving you credit and actually learning a little something from you. How about not over looking at the fact that you put your life on pause to care for them VS what some people do like shipping them to a nursing home and forgetting about them. It gets me hard cuz all my life I've done patient care and Dementia is a very hard and sad disease to deal with and that's how abuse comes about so with that being said I wish the services would use your strategy as you make it look so much more easy than it really is. You are f*****g great and the love is real. Girl, so what if you get paid? So many people (family members) get paid for taking care of even their parents so there is nothing wrong with you getting paid plus @ the end of the day the past 3 years she had to be fed and have basic necessity as well as personal and just so you know for tax time you can claim everything too including any training for like CPR and stuff. OMG I really went in cuz there's so much I can tell you, so sorry sweety... Anyways.. thank you for your live and for showing her here and there and head her..I. Edna Rivera. PA
