Have you ever had a loved one that had Alzheimer’s and you were a primary caretaker, that that patient was with you 24 seven just about? I suggested people go visit the nursing homes to have us Heims, and read up on the symptoms, I mean. Now I’m not saying that every Alzheimer’s patient treat their caretakers, though they are doing something to them as MANY has indicated which I think is very wrong!!! If you listen to her grandmother very carefully, she has mentioned names that some Tasha don’t know who she’s talking about, I think a sweet grandmother here Tasha talking but don’t see the people, so she may think that Tasha lost her mind! Yes, it’s been times that her grandmother has asked questions and I think that someone could have been asked, that does not make her to be abused as too many of y’all has indicated, shame if you want to do something extend the branch and go help her, because her grandfather is continue to be in her care so give her hand, none of you did it when her grandmother was alive!!!

And this granddaughter explained why she was put in the place to take care of her grandmother, and her telling her viewers what a mean person she was to her mother, and how her mother felt towards her mother, so ask yourselves why would her children have so much love and adderration towards thier grandmother now after the Horrible treatment she has given them! So ask yourself why is this grandmother so Hostile towards this girl if this girl was treating her so loving and kind off camera! One can only imaging to conversations this granddaughter has with her off camera, see this grandson isn't with her all the time to miss treat her, this is why she's not hostile towards him. I have a auntie who has this same disease and her daughter treats her very badly fussed at her when she messes on herself and when she becomes combative when it's bath time! And when she tells them that she dont need them to tell he what to do, they tell her things like she stinks! And she's nasty! All sorts of things! Instead of meeting her where she is, in this disease! And her kids I'm sure, isnt very nice to her, and is probably why she's more quitter when they come around. Because she's already she's going to get hit! Trust and believe this is all for the camera! All of that cursing and mean talking is only her defense she knows she can't fight them off of her.
Why these people can't understand and explain that this is the way the Desease is! It is the way her brain works! And it's not her fault!!! Rather telling her audience that her grandmother is mean she needs to learn to tell them of what type of woman she was and is, before the sickness set in,

I saw where she passed away recently. It’s sad but one day we all have to GO! You’ve been there for her and she will surely remember you in her afterlife. You are a true example to what unconditional kindness is all about. I hope that you will be awarded the same treatment as you are growing older and will one day be in her position. I really think she mistreats her tbh, bc the grandma has nothing but negative things to say about her! She MEANS it when she says “I don’t like you”. People with dementia are rude, but trust me they know who they really like & who they don’t. Larry clearly gives her a better vibe. 🤷🏾♀️

I cared for a lady like this once! And she cursed her daughter and granddaughter and I then realized why she was so displeased with them, I worked with them mon-fri and when I would come in, in the mornings she would be so pissy! Bed and clotheing would be soaked, they would not tend to her during the night! Well I corrected that! When I would hear her cursing I ask her why? She would say those B****especially don't love me! I told her that I did, and she would say I know Baby! And I love you! I asked her if she loved GOD! And I would read scriptures to her, and she quieten down! When I got ready to leave the job she cried like a baby! Asking me please don't leave her! It broke my heart but I had to go. I think and pray for her all the time. It's not enough to just say that you love someone! Love is an action! You have to actually show them that you sincerely love then! And this social media show isn't, sincere love! It's a job!
I’m Caucasian & my daughter is half black. In my experience black folks & Hispanic people take care of their kin. White people throw them in nursing home.

Bless your heart I worked as a CNA for approximately 2 months. I hated it, one client was 90 years old. I had to wash his soiled linen and prepare meals, np.Had to help him bath,His daughter was there but did nothing bc she wasn’t getting paid. I would get water warm, his was able to disrobe himself. I didn’t know 90 yr old men could have erections.I was sure he was on VIAGRA bc he would have a full erection.His azz would tell me he was a able bodied man.I refused to wash him bc he enjoyed making me uncomfortable.I called my supervisor, she thought it was funny. I put in a request for new client.Worked w/him 3x’s a week, I would get sick b4 I got to his home. The last time I went to his home he wanted to bath immediately. I completed my other chores first. He went into restroom, to prepare himself. When I walked in he was standing with a full erect penis.I walked out of the restroom,told his daughter she better go get her dick slinging pappy, bc he would drown waiting on me. She was stunned at my response, I was scared he would do something strange. I have never tried to do seek employment again.

Before my nana passed, she spent over a month in the hospital. Every time she spent more than a day in the hospitalz she'd start sun downing *which is kind of a form or similar to dementia. My nan would be mean on occasion when she sun downed, but it was mostly hallucinations. She thought the nurses were plotting to get her, she thought my mum had stolen a painting from a museum with her boss, she thought she was back in london & it was ww2 again. It was hard to watch...i know how rough it is. You are very patient & kind & loving. All of you are. Bless you all. You are so strong & there is not only a special place in heaven for Robert, but for all of you.

Tasha, you don't have to tell us "you see how she treats me" or how she hits you. We believe you. You don't have to convince us, we're watching and appreciate how you're caring for your grandparents. You are in my prayers for your strength and endurance. I know your grandma can't help how she switches personalities and is stuck in certain memories, which she talks about. She maybe associating you with a negative person in her life, but remember it's NOt YOU. You are just the main caregiver who witnesses and receives her good and bad personalities. Remember these personalities got her kicked out of the daycare also. They can refuse her, you and Larry decided to care for her and your grandfather in YOUR home and not a nursing home. Know that the profanity and ill thoughts and acting out are common for her diagnosis. We know that what you're doing is loving and caring for your grandparents. Rebuke the negative comments that she is reacting to you because of things you did to her in the past. They say it because they probably never experienced caring or being around people with Dementia or Alzheimer, especially older people. Imagine how a daughter or son caring for someone simular, would feel? They don’t know how they feel when they cuss them out and don't remember their names. I had a simular experience with my mother, whom I had a close relationship with. I was the main caregiver, so the meanest was targeted at me. Women usually do favor men. Whether it is the authority or physical presence. When it becomes to much, remove yourself for a minute and regroup. You may smile and laugh, but I'm sure you hurt inside sometimes. Maybe when she acts negatively, reset more to see if you can change her mental moods and focus. She loves you. Remember her before she was diagnosed. Prayers and blessings to you. From an RN who watches and cares from Farmington Hills, Michigan. Great people can handle these type of situations. From one Aquarius to another Aquarius.
Also maybe you should pre open the packages for her. That way you can inspect and remove anything you dont want your grandmother to have. Also for her safety.

The grandmother doesn’t know that Tasha is talking to an audience, she may think that Tasha went crazy just bun, Uncle crazy! First of all I just want to say that you are absolutely awesome! The way that you handle your grandmother, with patience and understanding and love is amazing. She is so blessed that God sent you to have unconditional love and support for her right now. And of course you are blessed to have her also because she appreciate and love you and it's all for a reason. I'm no psychologist but maybe one of the reasons she gives it up to you like that is because if she was very independent before and now she has to depend on others ( you) maybe she's resenting that fact and not necessarily you but the dementia brings it across that way and since you're the main care provider, than you're the main target for the resentment. And also, it's sad, but maybe the things she say to you are things she feel or felt about herself at some point. And also, sorry please dont get offended, but I dont think your brother should be encouraging that from her, I'm sure he doesn't mean it that way, but it's not funny ( you go through it 24). If she "gets along" with him maybe he can take these opportunities to encourage her to go the other direction with you, even if it's only for a moment. Anyway, I know my 2 cents don't count but just saying...

Before my nana passed, she spent over a month in the hospital. Every time she spent more than a day in the hospitalz she'd start sun downing *which is kind of a form or similar to dementia. My nan would be mean on occasion when she sun downed, but it was mostly hallucinations. She thought the nurses were plotting to get her, she thought my mum had stolen a painting from a museum with her boss, she thought she was back in london & it was ww2 again. It was hard to watch...i know how rough it is. You are very patient & kind & loving. All of you are. Bless you all. You are so strong & there is not only a special place in heaven for Robert, but for all of you.

Tasha, you don't have to tell us "you see how she treats me" or how she hits you. We believe you. You don't have to convince us, we're watching and appreciate how you're caring for your grandparents. You are in my prayers for your strength and endurance. I know your grandma can't help how she switches personalities and is stuck in certain memories, which she talks about. She maybe associating you with a negative person in her life, but remember it's NOt YOU. You are just the main caregiver who witnesses and receives her good and bad personalities. Remember these personalities got her kicked out of the daycare also. They can refuse her, you and Larry decided to care for her and your grandfather in YOUR home and not a nursing home. Know that the profanity and ill thoughts and acting out are common for her diagnosis. We know that what you're doing is loving and caring for your grandparents. Rebuke the negative comments that she is reacting to you because of things you did to her in the past. They say it because they probably never experienced caring or being around people with Dementia or Alzheimer, especially older people. Imagine how a daughter or son caring for someone simular, would feel? They don’t know how they feel when they cuss them out and don't remember their names. I had a simular experience with my mother, whom I had a close relationship with. I was the main caregiver, so the meanest was targeted at me. Women usually do favor men. Whether it is the authority or physical presence. When it becomes to much, remove yourself for a minute and regroup. You may smile and laugh, but I'm sure you hurt inside sometimes. Maybe when she acts negatively, reset more to see if you can change her mental moods and focus. She loves you. Remember her before she was diagnosed. Prayers and blessings to you. Also maybe you should pre open the packages for her. That way you can inspect and remove anything you dont want your grandmother to have. Also for her safety.

First of all I just want to say that you are absolutely awesome! The way that you handle your grandmother, with patience and understanding and love is amazing. She is so blessed that God sent you to have unconditional love and support for her right now. And of course you are blessed to have her also because she appreciate and love you and it's all for a reason. I'm no psychologist but maybe one of the reasons she gives it up to you like that is because if she was very independent before and now she has to depend on others ( you) maybe she's resenting that fact and not necessarily you but the dementia brings it across that way and since you're the main care provider, than you're the main target for the resentment. And also, it's sad, but maybe the things she say to you are things she feel or felt about herself at some point. And also, sorry please dont get offended, but I dont think your brother should be encouraging that from her, I'm sure he doesn't mean it that way, but it's not funny ( you go through it 24). If she "gets along" with him maybe he can take these opportunities to encourage her to go the other direction with you, even if it's only for a moment. Anyway, I know my 2 cents don't count but just saying...
