Sometimes I get stressed out but you lifted my spirits .. my husband dementia isn’t as bad as hers but you are as Angel sent !! I have health problems as well but I still keep it moving !! I had two back surgeries and it’s hard for me to walk sometimes but I still keep it moving !! I see what I have to looking forward to because I can see his illness is progressing everyday so sweetheart you are a great motivator !! My husband is 81 and I am 73 but we make it !! I look forward to seeing you and Mrs. Jackson everyday !! I love you and your grandma and big daddy !! Sweetheart you are a God sent from Heaven to be there for your grandparents !! God bless you !! You are such a strong beautiful young lady. I saw grandma’s picture from when she was younger, at the memorial service. You two resemble each other. In my personal experience, the throat clearing is a tic,,and accompanies agitation. If you'll notice,she doesn't do it as much when she's calm and being nice.

And I know I sound terrible but she's living in your house and telling you to get out and get it taken care your special and that's in a beautiful way. I do know and I understand Alzheimer's and Parkinson's because that's how my father passed away and it's painful to watch her treat you like that.

Thankyou for sharing these troubling times with you grand mom and mother. I appreciate the sames times my mom and I endured for many years with my grand mom and step grandfather. My grand mom often spoke about a handsome guy on a commercial. She swore that she knew him and that they were married. She loved the small life like doll my sister Sandy gave her for Christmas. For 35yrs she took care of children for several Jewish families. We knew she loved us and sometimes she did not know us but we would not trade away the positive memories. Thank you so much for sharing your video documentation.
Your grandma sounds like she is finding it hard to clear her throat & if she drinks more water 💦 to hydrate, it should make her phlegm looser & therefore a lot easier to cough up as it will be less sticky. It is the worst when it sticks in your throat as you just can not clear it for love nor money, no matter how much you try. You are so good with her & your loving understanding attitude is so perfect, she is so lucky 🍀 to have you in her life ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. God bless you, he really made a special soul with you !

When she speaks of her sister and parents that is where she is mentally in the time of her youth. Dementia works on the short term memory, a slow progression back in time.

I know she is saying things that are hurtful or can be hurtful or being mean. But what I see is this woman really adores you regardless of the words that come out of her mouth. I bet if you wasn't there for a while she would've started to ask for you. I can see her love for you even if her words didn't.
