You understand the disease but it still takes someone as amazing as you to be able to do what you do everyday .There are not many people like you in this world that are willing to love and care for their loved ones like you do people don't realize when they are so quick to try to judge or criticize you that you have given up your life to take care of your grandparents and that does not happen too often because people are not willing to do what you do they just put there loved one in a nursing home and most of the time they are forgotten.

I’ve cared for 3 of my four grandparents, a paternal uncle, 4 maternal uncles, a maternal aunt and both of my parents. I can usually tell right off if a care giver is true or not and this young lady is an ANGEL!!🙏🏽🖤👑
I hate when people ask if you get paid as a caregiver, YOU SHOULD. I get paid as a caregiver for my Veteran husband by the VA Caregiver program (he’s 100% disabled), ITS NOT EASY. This country gives money to all kinds of programs so I wish they would help Tasha and others financially, who support their elders.
You are such a wonderful granddaughter. My mom is almost 78 and I hope if she gets dementia or Alzheimer's that I will have as much patience as you do.

your grandmother is very very very lucky to have you!!! You seem like you’re very well rounded and able to deal with the changes that occur with Alzheimer’s or dementia. I worked with Alzheimer’s patients for 20 years and I know how very very trying it can be I think heaven has a special place for you!!! I love seeing people able to be with family! I just lost my grandma she was 93 and you would never have guessed her age because she did everything herself and was only just a tiny bit forgetful in the end. I saw her every day of my life she was right next-door to it us growing up she was more like a mother than a grandmother!

I have become a fan watching these videos of you and your grandma. You will be blessed cause you caught a lot of hell dealing with her dementia. My dad had a small case of dementia and I was his caregiver for the last eight months of his life plus he was blind like your granddad so it was a double whammy on me. But I’d do it all over again if I had to. My condolences to you losing both your grandma and mother.
