Thank you for being the only accurate simple way it should be video. Most the others are dumb punks who think they know more by complicating the hell out of the obvious
my 6bt case tractor seems be smoking more [blue] since i replaced pump. the cummings is very similar to the truck motors. i did not turn pump for gear lash since i had pump and lower gear lock engaged. the old timing marks looked good. tractor starts good but doesnt sound just right to me. also left flat puller on pump gear to hold it while pump gone, wondered if you could get pump gear one tooth off when going back.
Worked on one it did not have a drive key 🔑, actually the drive key was 4-5 o clock position … so all you have to do is find timing pin hole 🕳 in gear ! Make sure new injection pump is lock in time #1 --I had to remove timing pin assembly to find hole so annoying !! Has any one ever experience a pump with no keyway ?

No keyway or no key?
i have a pre 91.5 is this all the same? mine is not intercooled
I know this is a really old comment, but yes all VE pump 12v (and I think the 4bt too, more or less) is the same
no aranca el motor ya sele mando areglar la bomba de inyección
How do one know that the new pump is in the right place? The pump could be at cylinder 2 TDC?
Because the camshaft and injection pump gears rotate at 1/2 crankshaft speed - what you are theorizing is 100% impossible
repair
if it aint a 12 valve i dont drive it
