He deserves more recognition. YESSS. I love all the songs he’s produced so far, especially Safety Net. It’s easily one of my all time faves by Ari, it just has such a different vibe. When I saw Leon helped produced it, I loved it even more 🖤
Well in the show Tori wanted to be at the level Ariana Grande is now. In reality Victoria Justice didn’t turn out to be a mega pop star. Both still very talented though.
nobody cancelled her. actually, it seems a lot of people really like her judging by the reception and reactions to her new netflix film. i think the real reason victoria “disappeared” is because her management is terrible. look no further than her 2013 debut single that got no promotion, no interviews, and not a single live performance. and vic is still working with that tired ass manager who can’t even get vic at public events. when her most recent Netflix film came out a week ago, all the comments were like “is that Victoria? I haven’t seen her in ages. Glad to see her again”. But what’s funny is that she never stopped acting, it’s just that this Netflix film is the most notable thing she’s done since victorious.
It was because Ariana has a very strong and large fanbase since they had a falling out, as Arianas career grew people put Victoria down. Victoria never had die hard fans like Ariana did and does. She deserved better in my opinion

Even then the show still saw some success in the short run that it had. Hannah Montana and iCarly were definitely bigger shows, they also ran longer. Nowadays these three shows we're talking about are definitely on the bucket list of must watch for teen sitcoms!
Leon Thomas deserved more screen time and story lines, he carried the show by writing most of the songs. Victoria doesn’t deserve the hate she got just because of an character she played and that by the media made up feud between her and Ari. They also did Ari wrong for silencing her mic when singing in a duo to let the teammate shine.

I never understood why Victoria/Tori was cancelled. I mean, from when the show ended, people had YEARS to cancel her but they chose a random time to, which kinda proves they never had a problem to begin with.
Nah, her career steadily declined ever since Victorious when her “canceling” began. She had that song “Gold” that debuted around the same time as “The Way”, and it went absolutely no where. She sang that one song in Footloose, but I’m pretty sure Nickelodeon secured that for her. She was in that stalker TV show for like 10 seconds before it was canceled. I think it’s just been made public knowledge that she flopped now, not so much that she’s been canceled randomly.

Flopping and being cancelled are two different things however, but I will admit flopping did play a part on her being an easier target. Victoria still went on to do the things we said above, she just didn’t find much success with them. It definitely makes you wonder when the public opinion really swayed. I didn’t mind her at all until this beef with the shows ending. Her character was bland, but like you said, that’s no reason to dislike the actress. Ariana, Liz, and Matt played characters I wouldn’t want to hang out with either, yet public opinion of them seems fine.

Victoria has a really interesting tone. Although Ariana's range was more 'attractive', with her high notes, some of Victoria's were just so hot. 'Shelter my eyes from the *sun* ' or 'Tell me that you love me'.
Tell Me that You Love Me, Beggin on Your Knees, Take a Hint are all still songs that I can listen to. For me it was never a dislike of her singing or song choices (on victorious), it was more so how her character was extremely annoying and needy passed season 1. Plus how she’s an atrocious human being irl
This is just a theory, but I think Ariana wanted to be taken seriously. She has the best talent in the show and they made her look dumb all the time. She wanted to get out of that mold or her management wanted to because her career path is on the horizon. Ariana even doesn't want the song they made her sing, "Put Your Hearts Up." Her team doesn't want mediocrity anymore. So I think, personally, it's not necessarily her who wanted out but her management.

Nickelodeon cancelled How to Rock during the same time that they cancelled their other teen shows (Victorious, Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, Supah Ninjas & iCarly) while renewing Big Time Rush (the show) for one more season. The reason wasn't ratings (all of these shows were doing well in the ratings) but because Nick was "going towards a new transition". Said transition was just to target the age 2-11 kid group and with kiddier shows such as Henry Danger (the first few seasons of that series), the Haunted Hathaways, the Thundermans, & Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn while keeping more SpongeBob SquarePants. However, ratings soon dropped for the network after BTR ended. So they tried to bring back their tween & teen viewers by getting newer shows like "School of Rock: the series" and revamping Henry Danger to be more "sophisticated" so they could appeal to the tween and teens again. These are all facts from insiders.
Y’all shouldn’t blame any of the cast mates but Dan Schneider. And if it was Ari’s fault like y’all claim it to be, she was one of the people who got sexually abused by him. It just doesn’t make sense blowing off Victorious so she can pursue her music career because she continued working with him in Sam & Cat.
The situation with Ariana and Victoria never sat right with me. That woman got bullied on the internet for YEARS over rumors and lack of clarity. And 95% of it came from Ariana’s fans. Had Ariana firmly cleared things up and straight up ADDRESSED her fans from the beginning instead of throwing out shady comments that leave room for rumors, and going to Twitter where a tiny fraction of her fan base was at the time, things would’ve been fine. But I think she liked the drama and the fact that the attention was off of her when people blamed her for the reason Sam & Cat ended. People STILL go this day blame Victoria for why a damn kids show ended and it’s insane. Of course everybody makes mistakes, but the fact of the matter is that she was never held accountable for it and someone totally innocent took the fall instead. It’s weird that anytime it comes to Ariana, her fans turn a blind eye to accountability yet we can do the same to everyone else without problem.

I remember I used to watch when the new ones came out every week and then I realized that no more new ones were coming out and that they were not announcing any new seasons or nothing. My young self was so confused. It took me a year after i got my first smart phone I googled it and it said it ended.
I think the beef between Victoria and Ariana was probably just a PR move lol Ariana was signed to Republic and managed by Scooter Braun (the king of PR manipulations) and Victoria was signed to Columbia and their team probably just wanna use the cancellation of the show to start some beef to create headlines for both of them when they both drop singles in mid 2013. This type of PR move has been going on since Britney vs Christina - Miley vs. Selena - Olivia vs. Sabrina lol Also I think they both didn't really want to continue the show (they both in their 20s making a kids show) but I think they just keep it as a safety net if their music career flop HENCE after Ariana make in big in 2013 she drop all the safety net in 2014 and focusing on breaking into the music scene.

Well that’s because she’s not going to lower herself to society’s definition of a “star”. If you look at her compared to many other celebrities, she’s positive, natural, reserved, and carries herself nicely. She’s not wrapped up in Hollywood’s standards like most celebrities and that’s why she won’t be “big”. Until she throws her morals out the window, she’ll continue to stay where she is. But I don’t think she has any problem with that which is honestly good. We need more positive influences like her in today’s time.

I know this is old but iCarly was huge back then. I remember, It had way higher ratings than Victorious too. The episode with Freddie saving Carly’s life had over 11 million viewers. It was Nick’s baby and they did not want to let that show go at all lol. iCarly helped Nick compete with Disney Channel with those ratings back then. But I understand, because I love Victorious too and they deserved a proper ending.

I think the real reason is because Nickelodeon wanted to turn Victorious into a High School Musical replica. The same way HSM went on tours, Nickelodeon wanted to do this with the show. I don't think thats what Victoria or the rest of the cast really wanted to do and I don't think thats what they signed up for. Also, it probably cost Nick a good amount of money to make the music for the show, and since they weren't willing to tour, the money wasn't being recouped back.
Ariana was kinda a diva at that point so it probably was her fault it wasn't until she experienced what she did and grew that she started being matured . ari stans are just toxic

So 8 years ago Arianna actually publicly said the show ended because Victoria wanted to go on tour by herself instead of doing an a show tour and that if she hadn’t decided that Sam & Cat was going to film alongside victorious simultaneously.
Victoria said somewhere that she had no idea why it got canceled and they were all blindsided . Ariana planned to do both Sam & Cat and Victorious at once before the cancelation was announced . Her album came out when Sam & Cat was already on

I really didn't get all the hate Victoria got when the show was cancelled as if it was her fault. Victoria and Ariana weren't best friends or that close like the way Ariana was close with Liz and Daniella but they were still friends, and I feel like the drama that ensued after the show ended caused a strain on their friendship but now it looks like they rekindled it and I'm glad! They have been so supportive of each other on Instagram. I'm also glad that Victoria's career has been picking up recently because it has been stagnant after Victorious ended which I 100% believe has to do with the drama that was egged on because they painted her out to be this bully. Victoria's new music is amazing especially Treat Myself, which has gotten a lot of love from music critics. Her new movies Trust (on Hulu) and Afterlife of the Party (Netflix) were loved by fans and critics especially Trust for Victoria's performance. She's in Australia right now filming another movie. I am so happy that she's making a comeback in both music and film! The entire cast are doing their thing and are all still friends!
I hate the amount of bullying Victoria has gotten. I don't understand why people bring her down as a way to compliment Ariana. Like Ariana already made it, so it doesn't matter that she wasn't the lead of the show. Why bring down the one who didn't make it as far?

Victorious is one of the shows that shaped up my childhood, although it ended faster than we all expected it still gave us a lot of good memories that we still loved going back. It was my first exposure of Ariana and Victoria whom I both admire. The soundtracks were my theme songs growing up, it's just sad to see how Dan Schneider ruined it.

I never had anything bad to say about this show but I never had anything good to say about it either, when I was kid I never understood it, am glad that the cast is doing well after the shows end, great video man.

I felt like Victoria Justice was shoveddddd down my face as a kid(12), and I think when it became clear that Ariana would be the breakout star, things fell apart. I remember watching Victorious and getting frustrated when I heard Cat or Jade sing because I could tell they had VOCALS, while Victory was just giving basic pop princess. She had other movie deals and music videos and tours and all this stuff that I never was interested in, because Ariana was right there and could do it, and sound better😬. Victoria was supposed to be the big famous pop star, she would have stayed with Nickelodeon, been ad friendly and lowkey in my own opinion, easier to control than Ariana. She didn’t have powerhouse vocals that would follow her and drag fans wherever she went. Most of music I’ve heard from her, even newer stuff, still falls right in the perfect shopping pop music selection. AND she hasn’t said much about Dan Schneider, which leads me to believe that either 1) she was too old for him or 2) she was gonna be the money cow, and don’t break the money cow before it gets big.

Ok but this is the show that actually deserved a reboot or some sort of continuation. As much as I love ICarly it had 8 freaking seasons and got its proper ending, Victorious literally had half of that and not even a finale episode. This would’ve been more interesting to see IMO 🥴😵💫

Nickelodeon canceled Victorious because they were going through an "audience shift", targeting only kids 2-11 at the time. It's the same reason why How To Rock, Bucket & Skinner and Supah Ninjas were canceled too and why iCarly ended when it did.

No one really cancelled her, it was mainly people being misinformed that led to her public image declining when in reality, she did nothing wrong.
It was because Ariana has a very strong and large fanbase since they had a falling out, as Arianas career grew people put Victoria down. Victoria never had die hard fans like Ariana did and does. She deserved better in my opinion

Even then the show still saw some success in the short run that it had. Hannah Montana and iCarly were definitely bigger shows, they also ran longer. Nowadays these three shows we're talking about are definitely on the bucket list of must watch for teen sitcoms!

Leon Thomas deserved more screen time and story lines, he carried the show by writing most of the songs.
Victoria doesn’t deserve the hate she got just because of an character she played and that by the media made up feud between her and Ari.
They also did Ari wrong for silencing her mic when singing in a duo to let the teammate shine.
Leon and Victoria worked the most hours out of the whole cast.

I never understood why Victoria/Tori was cancelled. I mean, from when the show ended, people had YEARS to cancel her but they chose a random time to, which kinda proves they never had a problem to begin with.
Nah, her career steadily declined ever since Victorious when her “canceling” began. She had that song “Gold” that debuted around the same time as “The Way”, and it went absolutely no where. She sang that one song in Footloose, but I’m pretty sure Nickelodeon secured that for her. She was in that stalker TV show for like 10 seconds before it was canceled.
I think it’s just been made public knowledge that she flopped now, not so much that she’s been canceled randomly.

Victoria still went on to do the things we said above, she just didn’t find much success with them. It definitely makes you wonder when the public opinion really swayed. I didn’t mind her at all until this beef with the shows ending. Her character was bland, but like you said, that’s no reason to dislike the actress. Ariana, Liz, and Matt played characters I wouldn’t want to hang out with either, yet public opinion of them seems fine.

This is just a theory, but I think Ariana wanted to be taken seriously. She has the best talent in the show and they made her look dumb all the time. She wanted to get out of that mold or her management wanted to because her career path is on the horizon. Ariana even doesn't want the song they made her sing, "Put Your Hearts Up." Her team doesn't want mediocrity anymore. So I think, personally, it's not necessarily her who wanted out but her management.

Nickelodeon cancelled How to Rock during the same time that they cancelled their other teen shows (Victorious, Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, Supah Ninjas & iCarly) while renewing Big Time Rush (the show) for one more season. The reason wasn't ratings (all of these shows were doing well in the ratings) but because Nick was "going towards a new transition". Said transition was just to target the age 2-11 kid group and with kiddier shows such as Henry Danger (the first few seasons of that series), the Haunted Hathaways, the Thundermans, & Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn while keeping more SpongeBob SquarePants.
However, ratings soon dropped for the network after BTR ended. So they tried to bring back their tween & teen viewers by getting newer shows like "School of Rock: the series" and revamping Henry Danger to be more "sophisticated" so they could appeal to the tween and teens again. These are all facts from insiders.
Y’all shouldn’t blame any of the cast mates but Dan Schneider. And if it was Ari’s fault like y’all claim it to be, she was one of the people who got sexually abused by him. It just doesn’t make sense blowing off Victorious so she can pursue her music career because she continued working with him in Sam & Cat.
I left Ari fandom due to the hate Vic got they would call me a "traitor" if I supported her so happy to see times had changed
The situation with Ariana and Victoria never sat right with me. That woman got bullied on the internet for YEARS over rumors and lack of clarity. And 95% of it came from Ariana’s fans. Had Ariana firmly cleared things up and straight up ADDRESSED her fans from the beginning instead of throwing out shady comments that leave room for rumors, and going to Twitter where a tiny fraction of her fan base was at the time, things would’ve been fine. But I think she liked the drama and the fact that the attention was off of her when people blamed her for the reason Sam & Cat ended. People STILL go this day blame Victoria for why a damn kids show ended and it’s insane.
Of course everybody makes mistakes, but the fact of the matter is that she was never held accountable for it and someone totally innocent took the fall instead. It’s weird that anytime it comes to Ariana, her fans turn a blind eye to accountability yet we can do the same to everyone else without problem.

I think the beef between Victoria and Ariana was probably just a PR move lol Ariana was signed to Republic and managed by Scooter Braun (the king of PR manipulations) and Victoria was signed to Columbia and their team probably just wanna use the cancellation of the show to start some beef to create headlines for both of them when they both drop singles in mid 2013. This type of PR move has been going on since Britney vs Christina - Miley vs. Selena - Olivia vs. Sabrina lol

Well that’s because she’s not going to lower herself to society’s definition of a “star”. If you look at her compared to many other celebrities, she’s positive, natural, reserved, and carries herself nicely. She’s not wrapped up in Hollywood’s standards like most celebrities and that’s why she won’t be “big”. Until she throws her morals out the window, she’ll continue to stay where she is. But I don’t think she has any problem with that which is honestly good. We need more positive influences like her in today’s time.

I know this is old but iCarly was huge back then. I remember, It had way higher ratings than Victorious too. The episode with Freddie saving Carly’s life had over 11 million viewers. It was Nick’s baby and they did not want to let that show go at all lol. iCarly helped Nick compete with Disney Channel with those ratings back then. But I understand, because I love Victorious too and they deserved a proper ending.

I think the real reason is because Nickelodeon wanted to turn Victorious into a High School Musical replica. The same way HSM went on tours, Nickelodeon wanted to do this with the show. I don't think thats what Victoria or the rest of the cast really wanted to do and I don't think thats what they signed up for. Also, it probably cost Nick a good amount of money to make the music for the show, and since they weren't willing to tour, the money wasn't being recouped back.
Ariana was kinda a diva at that point so it probably was her fault it wasn't until she experienced what she did and grew that she started being matured . ari stans are just toxic

I really didn't get all the hate Victoria got when the show was cancelled as if it was her fault. Victoria and Ariana weren't best friends or that close like the way Ariana was close with Liz and Daniella but they were still friends, and I feel like the drama that ensued after the show ended caused a strain on their friendship but now it looks like they rekindled it and I'm glad! They have been so supportive of each other on Instagram. I'm also glad that Victoria's career has been picking up recently because it has been stagnant after Victorious ended which I 100% believe has to do with the drama that was egged on because they painted her out to be this bully. Victoria's new music is amazing especially Treat Myself, which has gotten a lot of love from music critics. Her new movies Trust (on Hulu) and Afterlife of the Party (Netflix) were loved by fans and critics especially Trust for Victoria's performance. She's in Australia right now filming another movie. I am so happy that she's making a comeback in both music and film! The entire cast are doing their thing and are all still friends!

Victorious is one of the shows that shaped up my childhood, although it ended faster than we all expected it still gave us a lot of good memories that we still loved going back. It was my first exposure of Ariana and Victoria whom I both admire. The soundtracks were my theme songs growing up, it's just sad to see how Dan Schneider ruined it.

I never had anything bad to say about this show but I never had anything good to say about it either, when I was kid I never understood it, am glad that the cast is doing well after the shows end, great video man.

I felt like Victoria Justice was shoveddddd down my face as a kid(12), and I think when it became clear that Ariana would be the breakout star, things fell apart. I remember watching Victorious and getting frustrated when I heard Cat or Jade sing because I could tell they had VOCALS, while Victory was just giving basic pop princess. She had other movie deals and music videos and tours and all this stuff that I never was interested in, because Ariana was right there and could do it, and sound better😬. Victoria was supposed to be the big famous pop star, she would have stayed with Nickelodeon, been ad friendly and lowkey in my own opinion, easier to control than Ariana. She didn’t have powerhouse vocals that would follow her and drag fans wherever she went. Most of music I’ve heard from her, even newer stuff, still falls right in the perfect shopping pop music selection. AND she hasn’t said much about Dan Schneider, which leads me to believe that either 1) she was too old for him or 2) she was gonna be the money cow, and don’t break the money cow before it gets big.

Ok but this is the show that actually deserved a reboot or some sort of continuation. As much as I love ICarly it had 8 freaking seasons and got its proper ending, Victorious literally had half of that and not even a finale episode. This would’ve been more interesting to see IMO 🥴😵💫

Nickelodeon canceled Victorious because they were going through an "audience shift", targeting only kids 2-11 at the time. It's the same reason why How To Rock, Bucket & Skinner and Supah Ninjas were canceled too and why iCarly ended when it did.
I just finished rewatching the show and I was just thinking how disappointing it was that there wasn't an acctuall ending then this showed up in my feed
