It wouldn't make sense having both leads be half part Indian not have at least one Arab main character, given the setting of the movie. However, that doesn't mean I approve of Mena Massoud as Aladdin, as he was bland and uncharismatic. They could have had a much better cast had they consulted Arab directors and producers. I said it since day one, Ghassan Massoud for Jafar.

Tv shows can sometimes get an actor pigeonholed. It's up to them to find opportunities. Some amazing character actors on television are stuck in a particular type of role. But they make the best of it and lots of job playing a character of a similar style.
They get stuck because they get typecasted. It doesn’t matter if they prove they can do different roles when the business thinks the audience would rather see you in specific roles. Therefore a lot of TV actors play the same type of character more often than not.
Fun fact: Leon Thomas played "Arthur" in the movie August Rush... When Victorious first came out, I instantly recognized him the kid who had an amazing voice in the AR movie and was shocked just how much he grew up!(August Rush is one of my all time favorite movies!) :)

Believe it or not, Thank u next was made impulsively. Everything was "in the moment" of what she was going through. So like 3 days of writing/producing and releasing the song. 4 days filming then editing the music video. Ariana wanted everybody she loved to be apart of it but that were also available. Avan and Leon weren't at the time
Back 2010 - 2012 when Victorious was filmed and aired Ariana was unknown while Victoria was better known to most people, Ariana became the famous Ariana starting 2015. It's really not that difficult to understand why Victoria got much more screen time during Victorious. BTW Tori the character was cool and awesome. Tori/Victoria walked so Ari could run and eventually fly, remember that people. I know most of you stans and fangirls probably can't stand this fact, but it is just absolute truth of it all.

Ariana was definitely my favourite. I loved her character on Victorious as well as her voice. Never had I thought she would one day take the world by storm with her singing career, which quickly made her one of my favourite singers.

Tbh I’m extremely proud of Ari’s success as a singer but even back then as a kid when I watched this show, I cringed so hard at her acting and found her to be an overrated and annoying character while my friends all loved her most of all. Honeslty, Ari did lots of overacting so it’s good that singing was for her instead. I rewatch victorious sometimes and just ponder bout how much of a goner Victoria Justice is. Liz Gillies was definitely the best and I hope that she gets way more recognition plus I wish Mikey Reid and Matt Bennett also got a bit more recognition since I loved them as Sinjin and Robbie as a kid. Andre was one of my faves as well and I’ve always loved Leon Thomas

The show wouldn’t even exist and everyone hates her because “something happened” with her and Ari.Ari and Victoria have no hate with each other and literally nothing happened between them Ariana Grande had an interview and she said that she got bullied on set she never said that Victoria bullied her and she never said it was on the set of victorious people just assumed that it was Victoria.I guess it was just me who liked her😞😞

Tbh I’m extremely proud of Ari’s success as a singer but even back then as a kid when I watched this show, I cringed so hard at her acting and found her to be an overrated and annoying character while my friends all loved her most of all. Honeslty, Ari did lots of overacting so it’s good that singing was for her instead. I rewatch victorious sometimes and just ponder bout how much of a goner Victoria Justice is. Liz Gillies was definitely the best and I hope that she gets way more recognition plus I wish Mikey Reid and Matt Bennett also got a bit more recognition since I loved them as Sinjin and Robbie as a kid. Andre was one of my faves as well and I’ve always loved Leon Thomas
