  • Tonight we work on part 2 of this series where we utilize a couple of fingerstyle practice runs that anyone can do, that's willing to put in a little time and effort. If you've been struggling with fingerstyle at all, or you're just starting out in this journey, this should help you.

Great helps for the guitarist! I still wish I could play guitar! Anyway I do appreciate those that do! Wonderful demonstrations! ❤ Nice presentation, Randy! I heard that remark about me! I would not slap you! Playing by ear is a fantastic skill and theory is not always important or needed!

Thanks girls. By the way, love what you’re doing. I also try to promote artists on TH-cam, which typically don’t have a lot of subscribers. I’m pleased to see you doing that on a grander scale. A worthwhile effort, for sure. Great to have you on board here 👍🏻

Very kind of you to say, Daniel. I really appreciate the feedback. We don’t always project the openness that we want to, but we surely try each time, right? Coming from such a great guitarist, I’ll take that encouragement to continue, brother man 👍🏻

I finally found what I was looking for. You are exactly my type of teacher. I also know studying music theory would be better but I only want to work with my ear and you are the first that said that. I am going to start practicing now.

You share some really great stuff Randy, I don't play much Guitar although I play a little and enjoy it, I have too much other things music related going on, appreciate what you do and will continue to watch what you share, I agree with what you say about reading music it is important, but playing by ear is just a valuable, I read a little and know the basics of theory but just write from feel and life experience, great share once more Randy 🎸 🎼 👌 👏👏👏

I really appreciate what you are doing on this channel. When I picked up my first guitar all i wanted to do was learn to strum a song with cords. Years went by before I realized I should be and know finger style picking. Strumming is okay but knowing finger style can really enhance or embellish a guitarist style. I know your videos will add alot to my limited playing style. Thanks Randy!
