- "We Three Kings" is a great song, and a fingerstyle twist on it is just plain fun. This video series will contain short step by step videos where I will walk through how to play this classic. I'm really looking forward to this one and hope you are too.

You are too kind. Much appreciated, my friend. You know, in all the time we’ve communicated and visited each other’s channel, I’ve never asked your name. Would you mind sharing your first name with me, please?

Playing guitar is ageless, Randy. Thank you for sharing. I love that you have been doing this finger-picking. It's absolutely beautiful!! You're right about taking small parts (bites 😂) at a time. For my brain anyways. I wished I had alot of time to work on playing this way. But you better bet imma give it a try! Have a great weekend.

Ms Kathy, I’m out back right now shivering like a wet dog, due to freezing cold temperatures that we’re just not used to!! Apparently I can shiver and smile at the same time 😂. You’re sweet and I appreciate the kindness. By the way, the new picture is just fantastic, my friend 👍🏻

Hey Randy great tutorial keep it up! By the way, do you happen to know how much of a difference there is going to be between the Masterbilt IBGs and the new Chinese IBGs? Would love to hear a sound comparison. Really like that IBG J45.
Hi Seth, thanks for the kind comment. A great question about the difference between the Indonesian IBGs and the Chinese. I have no idea other than different tooling, luthiers (if they are luthiers) and overall craftsmanship. I have yet to hear one of the new ones. If you find anything on it, please let me know here, or email me with the link, please. Appreciate you, brother man 👍🏻
My only request is for a reminder (refresher around October or November, please.
. And thank you!
Hi John, you got it, brother man 👍🏻
@randysrhythm Randy, I have a Harmony H181. It was only made in '69 and '70. I have had since then and I think it is all solid wood. I know little about it because I was in eighth or ninth grade. It was my first guitar and that is what mattered.
@johnwashburn3793 Hi John, given the year, it’s all solid. I’ve never played a 181, but those older Harmony/Silvertone guitars were killer, brother man 👍🏻
Hi, Randy, I'm on the trail of another Epiphone, a 2017 PR5-EB "Custom Shop" -- black finish, built in Indonesia. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks. P.S. I love Christmas music and will need the 12 months, now 11, to get it down, haha!!
Hi Jane-Beth, PR-5’s in black, built in Indonesia, are going to be hard to find. I did a cursory look on Reverb and didn’t even see one. I’ve never played one of those, but I’ll certainly take your word for it. Happy hunting 😁.
As far as this particular song goes, it’s a wee bit tricky, but very doable with some deep breaths and patience. I’m thrilled to hear you are tackling it. I really appreciate you getting on board with us, ma’am 👍🏻
@@randysrhythm Thank you. 😊
