He looks like he’s screaming internally

He probably was. After I read up on crows I found that the parents kick them out of the next and raise them on the ground for a few weeks as they learn to fly. Glad I got him out of our yard and into the forest behind our place. My pug was happy he was gone too as he was so scared of that little bird,

This open peak means, that there is enough space for food.

Cami C I made mor vids of him and the parents are so mad at me. I think they think I knocked him down into my yard. I put him on the back fence and then he fell back into my yard. I picked him up and helped him into the forest because he cans fit through the chain link fencing. I know he is alive back there as the parents were screaming at me again today. They are feeding him on the ground. I think he was just a little to young to leave the nest and not quite ready to fly but almost ready. I’m happy to see his parents protecting him and helping him. They even called in their family and friends to help him yesterday. It was amazing to see how they all handed together to help the baby and his parents. They keep five bombing me now lol.

@@TheGardeningArtist haha That is crazy! I've been worried about this little one but I read that this is normal. They can spend 2 weeks on the ground learning to fly & the adults will care for them this whole time! I've never in all my life known this! These crows are pretty cool birds! What a neat experience!

Cami C my phone keeps changing my words lol. I busted my cell phone bad the other day so it’s hard to read what I’m writing now.

My dog would have possible hurt him so I picked him up reluctantly but thought I’d share while I had to do it. His parents didn’t abandon him. I watched them take care of him.

Birds don't abandon their kids for this. It's just if they witness you screwing around with the nest they'll sometimes think the nest is over.

Crows are smart as well. If they see yo not hurt the child they will most likely be happy

If the mouth is staying open for a long time, then something is wrong with the bird.....

The mouth didn’t stay open. I was able to get it out of my yard and it’s family took care of it.
