Corroboro!
I am approaching 90, and Bob Dylan music had been my go-to and chief comforter since my early days as eager immigrant for American culture. Hooked to Bob since his music was a staple at New York radio station WBAI, and I’m now reliving the old days over the current offering on TH-cam!
May you stay Forever Young.

How cool. WBAI must have been great back then.
@@ericpark8784 Long ago it was, and I shall remember it as such. If I can: FOREVER. The station introduced me to music that matter.
You Sing you wish you'd been a Doctor, but you, Bob Dylan, have cured many people with your songs....
Hello Sissel
How are you doing
Nice meeting you here
Happy new year
My dad loved Bob Dylan. Dylan was his all time favourite. We lost him 18th January at the age of 58. So excuse me whilst i sit and fall apart as this hits the soul even more now than ever.
I am so sorry for your loss. I have some idea of what you are going through. My father died at 42 when I was 12, sixty years ago. Bob Dylan helped me get through the following years. I will be fulfilling a lifelong dream- I will finally see Mr. Tambourine Man in concert in 11 days! I’m old but still going. 😂

My Dad loved Bob Dylan and he loved Aaron neville. Rip.

Aaron Neville's version brought me here!! Bob Dylan is a great music writer!! 💜💜
❤😊
Honestly, I think Bob is one of the greatest vocalist of all time too.
His phrasing is out of this world
J'en suis plus que convaincu ! Oui!
One reviewer said, the best singer in recorded history .. I agree with that.
Honestly I totally agree with you!❤
I remember purchasing this album when it came out and everyone was saying Dylan is washed up. This album, Infidels, is a masterpiece. One of many from Bob.
Infidels got pretty much nothing but praise after a few records of bad critique from Bob but “Jokerman” alone was a return to Bobs quality songwriting & top standards & again was majorly praised as a masterpiece as a single track!
Couldn't miss with Knopfler in back with his red guitar.....
@@lylewright9363
And Mick Taylor & the legendary Sly & Robbie too.
DYLAN AND KNOPHLER…
AN EXTRAORDINARY FRIENDSHIP!
😢 we are so lucky to be living within his lifetime. Who knows when time will finally claim him?
The way things are going we may all be claimed together. And real soon!
Hum 🤔 - I think somewhat differently than as you put it. In my honest 70ish y.o. opinion think we’re lucky 🍀 to have been born during the Baby Boomer generation years and being exposed to Dylan and similar artist’s music. Not to be ‘living within his lifetime’ doesn’t seem to matter these days when we have YT and other sites where everyone in the 🌎 has access to the artists/music from ALL years and genres. The REAL question should be ‘when time will finally claim US’!?
Mick Taylor on slide guitar. What a band .
I think we all agree the world needs a complete Sirius XM Bob Dylan channel.
So nice to be around other Dylan fans. He's just so completely unique - and at the same time - he feels like such a brother to my soul. I can't imagine life without his music, flat out - that.
Yeah he's pretty amazing.
@@TonyBurke100 We're in good company
If Shakespeare didn't say it, Dylan has!
Wonderfully accurate comment! 👍👍
I agree
I love that his lyrics make apparent no sense, but you kno/trust they do ... so strong a rhythm ties it all together
He's got the Stones best ever guitarist in his band and the lead singer of Dire Straits....Wow !
yeah yeah but Sly & Robbie?
Lead guitarist from Dire Straits moreover 😏
More importantly, he's got Bob Dylan writing the songs.
Referring to Mark Knopfler as the lead singer of the Dire Straits is like saying Freddie Mercury is lead dancer of Queen.
@@willemwannenburg well whenever I play a Dire Straits song it's Mark Knopflers singing voice I hear........ work it out for yourself , let's call him the Dire Straits 'Frontman' if it makes you happy.......!!

This is perfection... I just can't explain the hold Dylan's music has on me. He's always the cool side of the pillow for me... He's been a friend without ever meeting him for the last 26 years, 41 now, always bringing me happiness and calmness when in need.
In my early 20's when I began listening, buying 45's, albums, my 1st Dylan concert he had The Band opening for him, to this day the band, is in my heart, Dylan soothes my soul, "he puts down in lyric, rhyme, what I have had on my mind,. There is a general concensus of Dylan fans, who say he gets me, and we get HIM!
"Cool side of the pillow." Well said. Sounds like something Bobby would say.

At 11 years old I met Bob D.
In 1964. All thru the years - he has been such an enormous influence in my life - both musically and as a Human Being.
His dry wit and humor , plus his integrity, and depth of his soul - had such a positive impact. on me at such an early age. His kind , good heart and wise guy attitude grabbed my heart by 14. I was amazed but not surprised at the pure genius when I first heard about this song...

must have to be to have withstood s career such as his has been and to still be going strong. It's been a real trip - as they say....!
