@Vern Pascal Neil Young is the next best.
I'm an Aussie and he makes me feel like I'm a Canadian
Not just lyrics
His music is wonderful
"Yesterday's just a memory
Tomorrow's never what it's supposed to be
And I need you"
No one says it like Bob does
Just him ❤️
No one!!
Where is the rest of the lyrics?
AMEN
They are clearly enjoying themselves.
Awesome
Bob Dylan (vocal, guitar)
Mark Knopfler (guitar)
Mick Taylor (guitar)
Alan Clark (keyboards)
Robbie Shakespeare (bass)
Sly Dunbar (drums)
(Uma banda de sonho!)
Loving Sly on those drums.

Merci pour les infos sur les musiciens !
Baita formação. É uma pena que o Robbie já tenha falecido.
There was a time when I didn’t speak a word in English. Somehow he always caught my ear. Now I love it even more!! Good old folk!

Sly, Robbie, Mark and Mick make a great band.
Although Mick's miming skills anot that great!
are there other videos of this band, maybe playing really live?
@@familytreemusic No - there is another version of this song which as very similar and the Infidels album. Sly and Robbis never played live with Dylan. Mick Taylor and Mark Knofler did.

As a Reggae AND Dylan lover, i would have loved more of this...
They are also on a few tracks of Empire Burlesque, but i would have loved to hear them live.
@@familytreemusic Have you heard the 'Is it Roilling Bob?' album. Reggae covers of Dylan songs. Also features a remix of Dylan's I & I plus a dub version on the bonus diub album.
Mick Taylor on slide guitar. What a band .
Mark Knopfler there too. Insane.

Been listening to Bob Dylan since the 60's still listen in 2021. What a legend!
Hi there
Thanks for your love and support that has brought me this far, it has been a hard time for me going through this but your love and support keeps me going and standing strong in this difficult times. I do read your heartwarming comments and I truly appreciate all you’ve done for me throughout the years.
It’s a season of love for me and so I decided to put a smile on the faces of my fans by going through my page and checking out on my fans, so I can get to communicate with my fans better through discussion of depth and humor listening to compliments and criticism of my career........
Israel.........He must be doing something right....😉👍
and 2022 and beyond!
@@bobdylan4502 ..... Mr. Dylan..It is an honor. I love your song writing and music. Thank you for doing this and communicating with your fans. Most legends of your caliber don't do this and it shows how much you care. You changed music for the better. Peace.
Great singer Bob Dylan
Hi there, how are you doing today? I hope to hear from you soon.
I can't get enough of this song!
What a jam session! Man Bob I can’t stop listening ! I was a disc jokey in the 60’s wish I had this “don’t fall apart” to play for the world back then! Oh and I liked your press briefing in San Francisco (my home area) you were smart Gen. As a young man! You know the CIA was in the room trying to paint you as a radical war protester! Keep on playing the tunes! You’re the greatest!
Of every BobDylan song🤩
Named my son dylan. He's my blue eyed son. He will only quiet from a fuss when i play Bob Dylan. Bob helped me teach my boy true auditory enlightenment. THE ONLY MUSIC LEGEN IS BOB DYLAN. Hats off to ya bob, Finances have been tough but I am determined to see you in MOON TWP, PA. Just hoping tickets dont sell out before I can afford it. I cried many years ago when I had the pleasure to hear you live for the first time, I cried until I slept that night. You give me the will to keep going. And Even though I made the long journey from Cresson, PA to the Malibu Hills to ring your buzzer and get turned away by a large man who was fair, but very stern (to say the least), I know my journey has to one day share energy with yours. I play your music on my guitar and harp daily. Though many don't appreciate you for who you truly are, I see your fate, and eyes would weep, should the tides decide all men should sink. I love you.
Were you able to get a ticket?
@@nothenryporter81 not yet, venmo has my darn money frozen because my account was under my stage name
I guess it wasnt meant to be. much love to you though.

That is some crew: Dylan, Knopfler, Mick Taylor, Sly & Robbie. Looking forward to digging into this Bootleg Series when it comes out tomorrow.
My thoughts too. Arriving at my door tomorrow!
Talk about All-Star bands, whew!
Weakest Bob Bootleg series yet imho lame tunes limp lyrics ..his 80s period was abject poo, until Oh Mercy
Also Alan Clark from Dire Straits…excellent keyboardist!
Mick Taylor... THANKS, did not make that connection.. DEFINITELY noticed Sly and RObbie though!!!
RIP Robbie Shakespeare 🙏 🎶 💙 🇯🇲
No woman no cry. No woman no cry. I caught it. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord.
Such a beautiful song, so much joy and sadness contained in its 5 minutes. And to see a band like this bring it to life. I'm in tears.
Same here!
All the greatest are here
Nice to see the great Mark Knopfler grooving with Bob in the 80's!
And Mick Taylor
And Sly and Robbie.
And the producer

Still excellent after all these years. My husband and I have been married for 37 years. I grew up as a Southern Baptist preachers daughter exposed only to the great hymns. Once I married, I cut my teeth on Bob Dylan‘s great music. We grew up together, my husband and I on Bob Dylan’s music. Thank you Mr. Dylan. Your grandmother was certainly proud of you! I know because I met her where we were living. This was years and years ago. I have been praying for you these years. You saved many lives and influenced countless people. God bless. Till we meet again.

Thanks for your music Bob, love 99.9 percent of your music and your saved, slow train coming albums and the other one. I was tempted to get you to sign my guitar at a Perth Australia concert. That may have been going a bit far. Big country music fan now, keep well
@@chrisdavies7610 Good to hear, so have you ever been to our concerts?
@@chrisdavies7610 It’s amazing how God links people and their influences waived through time. I attended the Keith green live concert near the zoo in Waikiki, Hawaii in the early 80s.Keith green graciously donated Music via cassette tapes to those of us who had no money but we’re touched by God’s word. I still have some of them though they are long worn out with use and much Intimate times with God.
Such a musically and talented creator in so many ways... as Dylan has mystified me all my life and kept me sane in an otherwise insane world. Have played his music on quitar for years and followed his journey of creating some of the greatest mind blowing lyrics and music Ive come to know. A great genius of mystical lyrics, IMO.
Just found this! I love the way Bob sings, the way he says girl. He's wonderful.

Huge BoB Dylan fan, love from Brazil. Townes and Dylan, 2 fucking legends
Love this song. Makes me want to get up and dance.
I have been listening to Dylan for over 50 years. When I was was quite young and listened to him alot, the first time I started focusing on his lyrics instead of passively listening, I was never the same again. You have to focus your mind to truly appreciate Dylan. I love the man and worship his talent! Go Well!

@@Bryanadamsmusicinc ever since that evening in N Y C when I heard Dylan Like being stopped in my tracks Like a moment frozen in time, to this day I find hard to explain the impact he has had the mystery still exists
This will make 59 years for me and I totally agree. Thank you, Michael Lynch, for introducing me to his music while we were in Korea in 1963.
Yesterday is just a memory, tomorrow's never what it's supposed to be. These videos are amazing, my new favorites.
Awww. you deleted your response...boo hoo
I always thought the Dylan / Knofler combination took Dylan’s music to a new level. I’m sorry they didn’t do more together.
R.I.P to the great Robbie Shakespeare. Your influence to my favorite genre, reggae, is unmatched. I will forever be jamming to your baselines.
Just a minute ‘fore you leave, girl
Just a minute ‘fore you touch the door
What is it that you’re trying to achieve, girl?
Do you think we can talk about it some more?
You know, the streets are filled with vipers
Who’ve lost all ray of hope
You know, it’s not even safe no more
In the palace of the Pope
Chorus
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
I just don’t think that I could handle it
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday’s just a memory
Tomorrow is never what it’s supposed to be
And I need you, yeah
Verse 2
Come over here from over there, girl
Sit down here, you can have my chair
I can’t see us goin’ anywhere, girl
The only place open is a thousand miles away
And I can’t take you there
I wished I’d have been a doctor
Maybe I’d have saved some life that’ve been lost
Maybe I’d have done some good in the world
Instead of burning every bridge I crossed
Chorus
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
I just don’t think that I could handle it
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday’s just a memory
Tomorrow’s never what it’s supposed to be
And I need you, ah, yeah
I ain’t too good at conversation, girl
So you might not know exactly how I feel
But if I could I’d bring you to the mountain top, girl
And build you a house made out of stainless steel
But it’s like I’m stuck inside a painting
That’s a-hanging in the Louvre
My throat starts to tickle and my nose itches
But I know that I can’t move
Chorus
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
I just don’t think that I could handle it
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday’s gone but the past live’ on
Tomorrow’s just one step beyond
And I need you, ah
Bridge
Who are these people that are walking towards you?
Do you know them or will there be a fight?
With their humorless smiles so easy to see through
Can they tell you what’s wrong from what’s right?
Oh, do you remember St. James Street
Where you blew Jackie P.’s mind?
You were so fine, Clark Gable would have fell at your feet
And laid his life on the line
Verse 4
Let’s try to get beneath the surface waste, girl
No more booby traps and bombs
No more decadence and charms
No more affection that’s misplaced, girl
No more mudcake creatures lying in your arms
What about that millionaire
With the drumsticks in his pants?
He looked so baffled and so bewildered
When he played and we didn’t dance
Chorus
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
I just don’t think that I could handle it
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday is just a memory
Tomorrow’s never what it’s supposed to be
And I need you
Yeah, you, ah
I need you
