I listen to Bob Dylan when I'm happy, when I'm sad, or when I just feel frustrated and need to calm down. He's got a song for every occasion and he's truly the poet of his generation and every generation since. I have such appreciation for his music. The day we don't have Dylan anymore is going to be a very sad day.
In Postively 4th Street he says "If you're so hurt, why then don't you show it" and in this he goes for "You can hurt somebody and not even know it" - of course the contexts are different but i think it's cool - he mellowed out
You don't have to be an expert to know when you are in the presence of a genius and his high capacity to create such a pearl like "Things have change" I know some day Mr. Dylan will leave us but rest assured his awesome work will live on for ever.

peter smith You hit the nail right on the head. Dylan’s lyricism is as transcendent as ever with this piece. He is somehow able to encapsulate the thoughts we all have but are unable to sketch into view. The world we live in is one massive card game being played by those we have never heard of. And we’ve all been dealt the hand of losers.

Today in the morning i listened a critic about why Dylan will not present in the Nobels ceremony, they said that he is watering, but I thing that Bob Dylan is my master. He doesn't need any prize in order to demonstrate that he is a poet and a great musician..He´s the best!!! He is just a simple person that knows that he doesn't need to be recognized. We know who is he and that´s all he needs to be Bob Dylan....my love forever to him
I suspect he was simply overwhelmed by the honor & didn't know how to respond. Idiots somehow leaped to the conclusion he was being arrogant jerk, quite the contrary I suspect.
there's something melancholic about dylan and something ultimately tragic about his sentiments and cadence. it is so uniquely dylan.... it really marks him out as an artist. i am not intelligent enough to appreciate his entire body of work because he was before my time; but i appreciate this and 'time out of mind'

God's troubadour? ? Dylan is the goods....but that is the craziest 2 words man would have balls enough to put together....wow
There is a guy that wrote 'Brothers In Arms', 'Telegraph Road', 'Private Investigations', 'Romeo & JUliet', 'Tunnel Of Love', 'Sailing To Philadelphia', 'Hill Farmer's Blues', 'Rüdiger', etc. etc. A guy that Bob Dylan asked to go tour with him...
Legend doesn't even get close. Been like a major organ in how many lives? Certainly mine. Thank you, dear God, for sending him to us.
This is a real classic definitely one his best
Thanks for providing such wonderful Dylan
The best lyricist the legendary Dylan. No one will ever compare or succeed Bobby.
and these times keep changing. I love you Bobby
Roxanne Dylania nicely put- the greatest!!!
And keeps getting greater
You got it love!!!!!! Thank God we still have him. I pray for many more years of his never ending tour. I am such a devoted "fan". More like obsessed! Lol. Ive seen Dylan 256 times since first introduced at 11 yrs old. Ive seen half of his tours in Europe. He is highly respected more than here. Love to DYLAN chat anytime. Anyone that appreciates the man is a good friend of mine. Thanks fot the song also. So much truth chimes with every chord and word.
+Roxanne Dylania I discovered Dylan"s music by mistake when I was 12(an old cassette that used to belong to my uncle) and since then I have become a huge fan , greetings from Costa Rica :)
Bob is the only entertainer/musician that can enjoy being a legend in his own time.
You get dumber by the minute. did you eat too many paint chips as a child? I would believe so. Keep your pie hole shut until you have something intelligent to say which in your case will be NEVER. There is an ass clown born every minute of the say and you came with no exceptions. I bet you were the poster child of parents who did LSD in the 60's. Stand up and drool for us moron.
I personally cannot think of any artist of any genre that has made me think about what the world is truly like more than Bob the man Dylan has
Dylan is "The Poet"!!!
I agree.
+Paul Forman your si right he's a poet okay bro
He says he doesn't like the word "poet."

It's a Dylan song, so at times, you wonder if it will.

Dylan is a brilliant lyricist. And, he is not for the faint hearted, nor the weak, nor the humorless. ❤
Couldn't agree more esp not for the weak nor the humorless
Or, God exists...

AGREE
I usually don't pay any attention to song lyrics. Unless it's a Bob Dylan song. He is the master lyricist
That's why he won the Nobel Prize. WELL deserved!
Every time I hear this I need to get up and dance in celebration of what Bob Dylan has given us for over half a century.
Congratulations Mr. Dylan for winning the 2016 Nobel Prize in literature!!
I try not to think about life without Bob's music. Take care.
thankfully we will always have his body of work
Bob surely is a blessing.
Bob Zimmerman is a legend godly. He is a spirit in a human form.
A poet par excellence. Bless u.salute u.no words to describe his poetry.
This gem is addicting
I can't stop playing it.
Where the heck have I been to have missed this song until today?
Wow!!!
Good question. Tell us, lol!
I'm glad you got to hear it.I play it over and over, and pretend I'm dancing with Dylan.
Raising two sons alone and trying to keep my head above water. 🎉

We had The Times They Are A Changing, and then we had Things Have Changed.. And that's that :)
Interesting perspective... quite Dylan like
Machiavelli
In Postively 4th Street he says "If you're so hurt, why then don't you show it" and in this he goes for "You can hurt somebody and not even know it" - of course the contexts are different but i think it's cool - he mellowed out
Yeah, maybe. But, still the hard rain's gonna fall.
Adam Nicholson yes things have changed. president Trump is in office. yea
You don't have to be an expert to know when you are in the presence of a genius and his high capacity to create such a pearl like "Things have change" I know some day Mr. Dylan will leave us but rest assured his awesome work will live on for ever.
A sad contemplation of life these crazy days.
God bless you Bob Dylan Zimmerman. Y live 1000yrs.
That will be the day When Music and poetry dies

Bob Dylan wrote the history of this strange and weird world...one legendary song at a time.
Well said.

I TOO .GREETINGS FROM SOFIA 🇧🇬BULGARIA
“Ya can’t win with a losing hand.” It’s amazing to me how such a short and simple statement can reverberate such intense waves of emotion.
I think it might be so because it reminds people at a very basic level that no matter what you do , you can't win.The game is rigged. And that is disturbing
peter smith You hit the nail right on the head. Dylan’s lyricism is as transcendent as ever with this piece. He is somehow able to encapsulate the thoughts we all have but are unable to sketch into view. The world we live in is one massive card game being played by those we have never heard of. And we’ve all been dealt the hand of losers.
Eu aqui no Brasil em junho ,domingo as 21:19 curtindo Dylan ❤
He has the perfect voice for this song
Perfect. He is an evolving artist. Always my favorite for 57 years. I was 14 when I first saw him. Just love this song.

Great love going out into the ether net to anyone who looks up into the clouds on a super windy night and blasts the neighbors awake w/dylan songs like Masters of War, one more cup of coffee, it's a hard hard rain, blowin' in the wind and figures on clouds start making bob's words manifest like a parade..if you've ever wondered WHY is that old man still alive??! Suddenly it hits you.. Gemini.. This things have changed lyric imagines all that he's ever stood for but karma energy IS an echo and bob lives to see it manifest. He can only encompass 3 zodiacs;aries, taurus & twins just like other greats like for example three artist born "2" days after him; lenny kravitz, lauryn hill & Stevie nicks . They can only write and wish and look up and then wonder if anyone out there can hear them and carry on the command .. Generation after generation lets a Gemini down, but somehow there's beauty in that & it's almost, expected. . They are reared in graduation season.. 🎓 begging The listener to educate and teach and day by day speak nothing but the truth.. He says i used to care but truth is, it's just a test, "things" never changed..& he'll always care. And that's why he'll outlive all of us! I want a bumper sticker that reads /only a fool in here would think he's got anything to prove/
I was 16
This one has a Leonard Cohen vibe to it to my way of thinking. Man-o-man what a song
Yeah. That makes sense for those that know.
They were good friends for many years.
The beauty of it is the simplicity of the melody and the home hitting lyrics, just fantastic.
Absolutely. Totally Cohen style. One of my favorite Dylan songs.
Yes...it does remind me of Leonard Cohen's last album. Damn, I miss him. I hope Bob Dylan doesn't die too terribly soon too.....
Truly one of his best! They don't write 'em like this anymore.
Don´t get up gentlemen, I´m only passing through.....Bob Dylan has just won the Nobel Prize!!!!!!!!!!
Fernando Gs w😬
In the most ungracious manner possible.
Forecasted it a year ago... I knew he would for this!!
Reference to my favorite work of fiction : "A streetcar named desire"
Love this video. Bob as the ultimate worn -out -by -life character. Could his voice be any more perfect for this song? What a performance!
Hello I really do appreciate you for being a big fan, thank you for your wonderful comments on my post,it really means a lot to me.I sincerely hope you never stop listenin to my music….❤️
We know who is he and that´s all he needs to be Bob Dylan....my love forever to him
U have it right...always did
I suspect he was simply overwhelmed by the honor & didn't know how to respond. Idiots somehow leaped to the conclusion he was being arrogant jerk, quite the contrary I suspect.
Love this song
My brother and I used to talk about this song so much! Miss those talks. The song is brilliant like everything else he wrote.
Dylan the GOAT
there's something melancholic about dylan and something ultimately tragic about his sentiments and cadence. it is so uniquely dylan.... it really marks him out as an artist. i am not intelligent enough to appreciate his entire body of work because he was before my time; but i appreciate this and 'time out of mind'
muggedinmadrid Es verdad, me gusta Dylan mucho. Conoce usted Garcia Lorca? english porfavor
Don't let your generation. Hold ya back... No one is Americana than Dylan.. Or cooler
I love these two legends -- so many great tunes from them both.
One of Bobby's greatest songs. A masterpiece. A soundtrack to my life.
I'll say it again Bob never had a bad song !!! Just great !! Icon!!!!!

My god suddenly I can relate to this song..i heard it when i was just a kid, dint make any sense. Crazy how his work hits you when least expect it. Genius.
Dylan saw the future in this song from 1999!
Tomorrow, on my birthday, is his concert in Stuttgart. Can't wait!!
Masterpiece.

Hi Marilyn, How are you doing?
I find that in quite a lot of BD's writing.❤
Maybe my favorite song of all time. Means a lot to me.
I just remebered this song, i was reading a article that mentioned it and ir came back to me...just wow what a beautiful song, it has been years without listening to it .
