Thank you for the tutorial! They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I was never much of a fan of geode ties, until I saw yours in previous videos. The color you can get in the lines, the cold water method, the soft water look (best description I can come up with) of the colors, love your methods. Have attempted a few / been happy with most of them and received compliments on many. Going to try the reverse dye with a couple of black shirts next, the ones you did are stunning. Again, thank you for sharing your process.
Your comment means a lot to me since it sometimes feels like I’m just flinging info into the abyss. 😅
I’m happy to know that you’ve found it helpful!
I have never done a geode tie. This inspires me so Ill do this today. Thank you for sharing your teaching! These are beautiful!
I hope you enjoy the process!! It might take a few tries to get the hang of it. Thank you!
i LOVE your cold mist method. i do it all the time now. its so fast and soooo pretty.
I’m so glad to hear!! Do you also soak in hot water or let it batch at room temp?
@8:46 - I like that side. I don't like the concentric unless they're really spread out - like only 3, and not loud
Beautiful geode technique. I’ll have to try it someday. I’ve never done the cold water method either. Heck, why not!? Thanks for the great tutorial. Ecru = eh-croo or ay-kroo The silent vowel on the E 😉❤️🌈
Thank you for the pronunciation help!! 😅
You have so many beautiful videos, it’s an honor to have you here watching one of my vids!
As someone who theorycrafts a lot about ice dying I'd love to see a tips and tricks video from you as your techniques fly in the face of a lot of the "accepted" ideas I see and read about. I'm also curious on your ideas on dye flow as no one ever speaks to this. Your geodes, as always, are on point.
Hey, I appreciate your comment. I’m actually starting to dig into dye flow to better understand it. Which techniques did you want to hear more about, in the first part of your comment?
Very nicely done ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching! 😊
I love your thumbnail for this video!!!! toooo cute!!! youre so creative!! I got rave reviews from so many people over wearing your shirt.. Never have I worn one of your shirts and didnt get at least 1 compliment... haha if youre feeling low wear a corky dye the positive attention will make any bad mood go away in my opinion
Thank youuuu 🥰
Thank you for showing your wedge technique. I learned to do geode dyeing from you and excited to try this method. Looking forward already day to your next tutorial! Thank You.
Heyy, thank you for watching and letting me know that the videos have been helpful to you.
@@corkylorenz you have no idea how much!!! Thank You!
Thank you so much for this! They both came out amazing, but i totally see the more crisp lines in the wedge dye! I'm going to have to try it! 🤩
I hope you have fun with it! :)
Those are really cool. Just a suggestion is to look at natural stone to see which style works best for your color and wrappings. Some stone has a wilder configuration than others.
But you're definitely onto something there. Gorgeous.....😊
That’s a good idea for actually replicating the color placement for a geode slide. Thank you :)
Какой цвет света вы использовали? Это только он и матовая сталь?
Great video! Thank you so much for sharing this and I can't wait to see you do this with the red. I definitely will have to try this method. Beautiful ❤️.
Thank you for watching! :)
Oh my goodness!!! These are gorgeous! I love the one with messier lines. Just out of curiosity, what do you do with the shirts that dont turn out well? Can you re-purpose or re-dye it?
Very pretty and creative ❤
Hey, thank you so much!
Oh wow 🤩 wonderful ❤
Thank you!!
Hello and thank you for your video tutorials. I have a technical question for you. When ice dyeing 100% cotton shirts w procion dyes, does it take longer to get more vibrant colors on a thinner shirt than it does on a thicker one? I recently bought some cotton shirts and I'm not get my usual vibrant colors in my end products. Thanks!
Thanks!
Hey! I really appreciate your support!! Makes my day to know that the effort to put out info is valuable to others ❤️
Hi,
Very nice. If I want to make crystal effect like glazed effect... What I have to mix it??
Absolutely fantastic! I’ve been wanting to give your cold mist method a whirl! I love the softness of your geodes. How long would you say you soak the shirt in hot water after you’ve dyed it to set it? I’d love to see a video of your favorite color combos too. I’m looking forward to the next video. ✌🏻❤️🤙🏻
I think an hour is adequate! Thank you! I’ll be uploading more videos with mh favorite color combos 🥰
Do you add the soda ash at the same time as the dye? Or just at the end?
What was the light color you used? Is it just that one and brushed steel?
I love this tie and cold mist method, Have you had the same luck with both of these on a hoodie?
Hey! I have a sweatshirt I’m tying up now. I’ll give it a try and post the results.
Just saw your video for the very first, so beautiful both of them. What a lovely idea to scrunch them up under sinew..ideas never seams to run out of tiedyers😉 did you put soda ash with the hot water at the end? Or something else? Never seen it not soda ashed before "20min" must try it! Thank you for showing🙋♀️
I did put soda ash in the water but sometimes I don’t. I’m not sure if it’s necessary. 😅
It’s fun to see what rules can be broken!
@@corkylorenz You are braver than me..I keep thinking I waste a tee..but I do test on pillow cases...got some very ugly=gives nightmares mayby🤣
Where do you get your 5% spandex shirts?
