Do you prep all the shirts the same? Do they stay damp or do you air dry them? Do you have a video on that part? How much powder of each color in dry powder does this shirt take?
I prep them all the same. Hot water pre-wash with synthrapol. I spin them out in my Panda spin dryer. They are barely damp from the spin out. I think this shirt was 2tsp dye to 1 cup water. Not a lot if that’s what you’re asking. I guess it depends on how much you squirt on the shirt. 🤷♀️❤️🌈
@@BelladonnaDyesCo I was wondering because the dye powder comes in 2oz. And where do you get synthrapol? Don't recall it being listed. When I eventually do shirts, ill probably do a bunch at a time: have the designs all banded up n ready, then dye. Can the process be stopped by dunking in ice water?

Thanks!! The short answer is out of habit. It’s easier to line up the seams for centering. The theory is if there is dye speckling it will be on the inside. It has been my experience that dye goes on both sides so it doesn’t really matter much. So, back to my original answer. Out of habit. 😉❤️🌈

Brilliant, beautiful, super stunning
Thank you, Zack!! 🤩❤️🌈
It's like a fire 🔥 & ice 🧊 portal! Amazing!
That’s a great way to describe it. ❤️🌈
You are an true artist, wow
Thank you very much! 😁❤️🌈

Hi, amazing job! Is there a reason why you dye your shirts inside out?
Thanks!! The short answer is out of habit. It’s easier to line up the seams for centering. The theory is if there is dye speckling it will be on the inside. It has been my experience that dye goes on both sides so it doesn’t really matter much. So, back to my original answer. Out of habit. 😉❤️🌈
Thank you for your quick response and that makes sense. I wasn’t sure if I was missing something 😂, like am I suppose be dying them inside out haha.
@@melstar83 I do and I don’t. I mostly dye inside out, and other dyers do too, but I don’t think it’s 100% necessary. ❤️🌈
I’ve noticed that others do as well which is why I asked as I’ve recently started getting back into tie dying. I’m scared to try this wigwag, but I’m going to give it a go. Wish me luck! 😂
@@melstar83 Good luck! Lots of saturation and it might take a few tries. Don’t give up. ❤️🌈
Beautiful colors
Thank you, Lisa! 😁❤️🌈
Great video learned a lot so far!

AWSOME!! GREAT JOB! Where can I get the bottle tips that you use?
Thanks! Everything is in the description box. ❤️🌈 Precision Tip Bottles White: amzn.to/3qc1IQF
Thank you!
I can only hope that i can do close to what you did here. Really a beautiful shirt.
It takes a little practice, but you can do it! 😁❤️🌈
Holy wow!!! Beautiful
Thank you very much! ❤️🌈
I was randomly recommended your channel recently, and although I have never tie dyed and don't think I will any time soon, I can't stop watching your videos, haha. Beautiful work!!
Welcome aboard! I’m glad I’m entertaining you. Rainbows are a great way to pass time! 😉❤️🌈
What kind of pattern would the result be if it was just dyed one color after completing the folds at the 8:30 time stamp?
Just one color. 🤷♀️ One color, my guess it would just be a blue shirt or orange or green,,, depending on the one color you chose. Try it out and see what happens. It might be interesting. 😊♥️🌈
I Think You Did A Great Job!!
Thank you, Ginger! I’m happy with the outcome compared to my first attempts. 😉❤️🌈
YOU ROCK SISTA! MY FAV!
Thank you, Deb! I’m really happy with this one. I’d like one in pinks and purples. 🥰❤️🌈
