So, lots of folks are asking about in person classes... I'll definitely make announcements as we get closer but I'm tied up at the moment talking about my new Trade-school training programs, so it's exciting times! I'm itching to get back on the Garbage Camaro and we 'll do that very soon... I've got to get through a big push with another agenda, but hang in there!!! Thanks for watching!!
You two are a great team. Kent you are a great dad, Jack is such a nice young man!!! I can hardly wait till he finishes his car. So cool that you guys went and learnt how to paint! Really enjoy your videos. ❤
I love Kent & jacks channels. I’m not a huge car guy. But speed bumps garage videos are cool watching them getting old vehicles going again. I’m excited to see jack restore his car. I’m thankful they found you to help them out. So I am now a new subscriber here.
That was awesome! I too follow Speed Bump Garage. They have a great channel. Jack is the best. I love his short content videos he’s a natural. Keep up the great networking it’s paying off in spades.
I know Kent and Jack and follow them on their platforms. They are the greatest of people. It's been fun to watch Jack grow up and continue to learn and develop his skills from growing pumpkins to catching critters and working on cars. Glad to see them on your channel and getting some new painting skills. Kent highly recommended your Paintucation video for me as I'm working on a project that you inspired. Thanks for all you do!
I really Love watching Speed Bump which I actually found through a You Tube channel called Arms Family Homestead. I Love to see the see the things that Jack & Kent do but this paint video was Awesome. Thank You so much for sharing with us. ❤
I follow Jack, Kent and younger son/brother AJ. Jack is a super kid you can't help but love the kids work ethic. He gives 200% no matter what he does. Glad you got to teach the young man and his father skills that last forever if used regularly. Enjoy your videos Kevin.
i’m so glad I found your channel. I saw that you were working on some of the cars from VGG. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. I love the details, specifics and the focus on the process. You definitely are motivating folks like myself to try something we’ve never done. Have a blessed day. I’m looking forward to all your projects.
I like the coat hanger trick on the spray gun. That technique is a very useful tool to learn how to spray correctly from the paint gun. Whats also cool is the father son team they have and learning from each other is very good life learning tool in life. And you all a correct that there is lot that can be learned on youtube as found out about something on my lawn mower when it comes time to replace a part on it. Good stuff man
I think it's great. What you've done for them I've been doing it for years when I worked for a body shop doing it on my own for myself. And I'm handicapped now. And I can't even hardly afford it. I'm redoing my own vehicle again. And things have tripled in price over the years. This time i'm redoing my truck in It's two stage Because of the paint color i'm doing it without chrome and blending the color without line That way , I don't have to have any hard change over in line coloring On a two tone truck
I think you are so very nice to do what you did for these two wonderful people! Man I sure wish I could go to your class!! You are so very educated on what you do!! God bless you sir!!
I tell my son all the time: People that don't do anything, don't make mistakes. Another is: Getting hurt is not part of having fun. Kevin, It's great to see you encouraging others, and passing on the knowledge!
I tried to get in the hobby as a young kid but my dad thought I was gonna kill myself so he didn’t allow me to work on cars until I was 17. I would still help him wrench on stuff and holding the flashlight enough got me some knowledge but I wanted my own car since I was 10 😅 my kids will be allowed to work on cars as soon as they want to
Great video Kevin , your experience and God given talents and I know you have put in a lot of time and effort to get to where you are , and your attention to details are priceless and thank you for doing what your doing , I'm a diy'er but I always research and try to do the best job I can do and when things like this are available for people like myself who likes doing things myself as much as I can , helps us be better prepared. I own a 1972 Nova SS and a 1970 VW Karmann Ghia and I want to build and paint them myself and I want to do a quality job , and will get your videos probably from summit racing so I can prepare myself for when I get to that point, God Bless 👍
Thank you sir!!! I appreciate your kind words! When you decide to get the videos you can email me. Info@oaintucation.com or I sell direct as well, you can go to the website and get the DVDs or streaming version for less money. Summit doesn't have the streaming versions.
I love this. The fact that Speed Bump comes from basically no where to being on your show is pretty cool. I love watching Speed Bump videos. Somehow I wasn't subscribed on TH-cam. But see him on IG or something... Subscribed now.
Hey Kevin! Been following and been a fan for years on the TV channels that carried automotive content. Also met you in person at Eastwood’s Pottstown, Pa HQ, and attended your clinic there. Very informative- and not a dry “how-to” seminar. The clinic was a “how-to”, but also the reasons “why”. All in all, I like your style. I have done some painting, and although it didn’t turn out like I had hoped and ended up going to a collision center for a solution, I do have a 67 Camaro that I have been on the fence about doing the paint work. You might be swaying me to try again, when I get to that stage. Thanks for ALL you do and keeping the hobby going.
Kevin that is so cool to see the stuff you learned is being passed around the ones who really want to learn how to do it thanks for showing everything that it takes to do it thanks again I really like watching all of your videos
Gotta get that next generation interested. This is awesome to see. Started watching them early on and enjoy the videos. I learned a ton from paintucation! Can’t say thanks enough for that knowledge.
Good video. Jack has great potential. Been watching Kevin for 20 years, bought some videos on paint and body work (VHS tapes) which really helped out when working on my Mustang. I beg to differ about aftermarket A/C systems being better than original , those OE R12 units would freeze your buns off. My aftermarket unit (R134) does adequate job, but is not the same. Keep the videos coming, really enjoy watching.
Awesome, Kevin! It's great to see kids being raised right and not afraid of work! I did see the O'Reilly interview with them and Derek ... I need to check out their channel. Were those PPE packages (dust masks), on the table from Harbor Freight? If so, curious about your thoughts on them.
Yes, they're Gerson spray masks... Their disposable so they're a little less expensive. As long as you use them properly and within their range they're fine.
I’ve watched jack since his first video on growjack outdoors and I know him personally I just didn’t think he would get to having MILLIONS of subscribers
Good morning all, Here trying to get the gonads to spend the money to attempt to paint some pannels on my truck (fender, bumpers, and rockers), alot of money and alot of uncertainty... spending 10k to get a full paint job is not in the budget unfortunately
@@paintucation no apologies necessary, Kevin! Sounds awesome and I’ll keep my ears pealed. In the meantime, keep up the great content and thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge. Been a fan of yours for years, sir 👍🏻

We had a blast! Can’t wait to come back for more.
Wow! How freakin cool is this?
Good on you man.
Good for you guys! Jacks gonna be a great success in life! Great job! Dad!!
"As long as you get up one more time after falling down, you win" I love that
Interesting history of Speed Bump Garage. Thank you Kevin to make the interview with these both "professionals".
Thanks for watching!!!!
You two are a great team. Kent you are a great dad, Jack is such a nice young man!!! I can hardly wait till he finishes his car. So cool that you guys went and learnt how to paint! Really enjoy your videos. ❤
Love seeing Kent and Jack! Their channel is truly my favorite channel. Kent is an amazing father to Jack and AJ.
This type of engagement with the young folks is the only way our hobby will survive. Great video buddy!!!!
I love Kent & jacks channels. I’m not a huge car guy. But speed bumps garage videos are cool watching them getting old vehicles going again. I’m excited to see jack restore his car. I’m thankful they found you to help them out. So I am now a new subscriber here.

Love what you are doing. Love what vice grip garage is doing. Passing the knowledge and passion down to the next generation of car/motorcycle junkies.
Love this collab! I’ve been following Speed Bump Garage for a few months now, that kid knows a thing or two I’ll tell ya 💯

More to come!
Looking forward to more of the VGG truck
Awesome collab, been following Jack years before speedbump existed. Appreciate your willingness to connect with him!
Good morning. The more I watch your videos the more I like them. I enjoy learning new things. I may or may not ever use it but it’s still fun!
This was a great episode!
Love you bud.
Awesome 😎 🏴☠️
I have written to TH-cam several times because i think SpeedBump gets shafted by then
Way to help and inspire young and old. Great life passion you have.
Thanks!!
If you host a class I’m definitely in! I live in Nashville and work on old cars a lot, but I’m not the best painter of cars.
Great People.. Great Collaboration
Missed seeing you at Goodguys in Columbus this past weekend. ✌️😎
It was a whirlwind, great show, but I didn't have time to slow down even once. There was a lot of people I would have liked to have seen also.
Great job Kevin! Wow!
This is a great collab!
Now that's kid that will put that skill to good use
I think its great to see young people actually wanting to work and not in front of a tv on a game station. Kevin, keep up the great work.
Gotta get that next generation interested. This is awesome to see. Started watching them early on and enjoy the videos. I learned a ton from paintucation! Can’t say thanks enough for that knowledge.
Thanks for watching!
Wow. Great video. If really like to attend one of your personal classes! I've followed your work for quite some time.

I agree we had a 1976 Cadillac Coupe Deville and you know how much room is inside one of those I mean it would just give you the Goosebumps chilled 🤣

Kevin 👍 🙋♂️ 👍
I enjoyed the video ❤

Great video sir!
Well, I appreciate watching you teach .very interesting.. but let's get back to the camaro...the suspense is killing me lol.
I promise! We're getting back on it soon!👍
Do you have a timeline for when you’ll be offering these in person classes? Sounds like a great opportunity!
I'll make announcements. Sorry to be vauge
@@paintucation no apologies necessary, Kevin! Sounds awesome and I’ll keep my ears pealed. In the meantime, keep up the great content and thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge. Been a fan of yours for years, sir 👍🏻
Second!
What’s the latest on The Datsun 280-Z?? Still a go?????
How do you find out about classes like this one the video is about?
I will announce them
I’m ten and I started a TH-cam channel I it’s called burning rubber garage the one with the nova and I learned a lot about TH-cam thank you to speed bump garage
That is awesome!
👍
Please get Dalton and his son JD from the Pole Barn Garage in for a class.
First!
If your piston ring gap is not properly set on a nitrous motor you can say goodbye to it not to mention you've got to set your timing properly it's not something to just slap on and neither is painting unless you just want an Earl Scheib paint Job. 🤣
Agreed!!! Both disciplines take study and experience.
Hello sir, do you usually use a polishing machine? I have a new batch of polishing machines recently. Would you be interested in helping me test them?
Everything I work on isn’t worth a polish. I rust repair for used car lots. They tell me not to make the new paint so shiny it sticks out
Are you the guy on that show "Trucks" ?
Yup!!!
