I see what you mean it's a lot to understand and very exposition to get a power. In fights it does slow down the fight and the enjoyment of the action. Especially when explaining that perfect sphere it gets like what the hell why is that powerful. It's pretty distracting. Jjk is pretty good tho

some praise i get and at the same time i don't get is that people claim that jjk avoid a lot of shonnen tropes everybody is sick off like the heated rivalry, the love triangle, power of coming from the power of friendship, the usual stuff. Personaly i don't mind those if they are don't right, but i can get when it get into into people nerves.
What i don't get is when they are fine with shonnen tropes IM PERSONALLY sick off like an underground society that does a terrible job at hidding itself from the system like harry potter, a misterious MC with an inner demon that will latter will be explained on "why he is the only one on survive that" Spoilers when they reveal that, i knew the bad guy planed something to put that shit into him kinda like aizem did with ichigo so it wasn't a big shock for me, the counsil of morons that won't listen other alternatives only to be doom for not listen, the shit load of stoick character because "emotions will lead to the dark side or some shit from star wars or the matrix, to not give personality to the characters", and of couse over explain a power system that should have beeing easy to understand like sorcery but NO we have to fill an entire wikipedia script with consusing details only to feed on the suckers for the power system. And i don't mind a over detail power system if at least they show something creative like chakra or nen or even something silly but creative like the stands from jojos. Here the only power i like are the domain expansions, everything else is just a variation from what we already saw in other animes, like sumoning animals, shotting spirit bombs or light beans, throwing punches with some special effect add it like the one for all smash or the gommu gommu no pistole. Wich is ironic because they reference those type of powers saying that is nothing like those when its clearly like them. I could forgive them if they don't act like its something new and original, the same way i could forgive the time travel shit from avengers endgame if it also didn't act like is something new or original only to dissmiss other time travel movies like back to the future or terminator. In my opinion i preffer rules that don't make sense (because that part of the fun of fiction) than rules that pretend they make sense, because from a mile i can smell a dishonesty with the worldbuilding.
I mean anyone can watch lord of the rings and mock of the underuse of the eagles that could have solve everything, but at the end of the day that dosn't matter because we are here to see the fellowship saving middle-earth, not to see every single detail from how middle-earth works to claim its "peak fiction" when theres not such thing as peak fiction or even a perfect work of fiction since fiction is an illusion and not every single illusion is gonna work
