Corrections:
1. They only beat up Deku - 10:16
2. The actual quote is "All Men Are Not Created Equal" I worded it slightly different. An insignificant error but I just know SOMEONE will point it out - 11:00

Something just occurred to me. There are people with quirks like Recovery girl's and Overhaul, but All Might is still injured. With the amount of people on the planet there is no way there wouldn't be someone with a quirk to fix him.
overhaul is probably very rare
recovery girl can't make miracles and she's the best in Japan...
@@hoshikawa_ot9In Japan and there’s still the entire Earth. It wouldn’t easy finding someone who can actually fix All Might to prime but still a thought
@@Flamingo48923 Wasn't it stated in the movie healing quirks are actually very rare.
My main problem with mha is what you explained at 19:40, Deku getting ofa is what ruined this show for me.
When I started watching mha this show idea was: "Teenager without superpowers in a world with superpowers tries to become a hero" and Deku was portraid as someone with inteligence, analytical abilities and creativity.
So I thought that he would become a hero with his inteligence (use support gear, discover villains weaknesses) but it was ruined as soon as he got ofa. They just focused on his strength and sense of justice and trew his inteligence of the roof.
And now it's "Teenager with one or even the most powerful superpower in a world with superpowers tries to become a hero" - it's just kinda boring and we already know the outcome.
i heard a lot of theories that he'd wind up losing ofa at some point which wouldve been rlly cool but the series is almost done and thats yet to happen so ig not
@@momentsofflight it can still happen
@@amiridandrea6188 i hope so
If Deku spent the first few seasons working nonstop and using pure intelligence and hard work to beat his opponents, and eventually over time he EARNED the respect of All Might who then gave him OFA, this series would have been considerably better tbh
Season 6 all might dies now the main character has go to endeavor my favorite character he gets more overconfident that works like a bunch with the character that's how you fix it that's so easy and they failed it so much
The beginning of the series starts with Deku lamenting that all people aren't created equal because he's Quirkless, but that angle is dropped almost immediately. Even worse, the characters don't ever really dwell on the negatives of the hero society they live in. It's like Horikoshi wanted to say something, but then decided not to and just ditched that angle. Even in the current chapters of the manga, one of the recent villains complaining about mutant discrimination gets shut down with "Oh, it's better now in the city. You're just grumpy because you're thinking about the country. Stop setting the pro-mutant movement back." It's ridiculous.
Same. Hori has been dropping the ball way too damn much.
so hes not allowed to change his mind...? lol
@@Hugo_Tate What's the impetus for him changing his mind? Bumping into a guy that gave him the best power in the world somehow changes the circumstances of his birth?
Let's take a look in another angle. Change quirk into wealth. Deku laments that he's poor, how society treats you differently if you're poor and how the system was made to keep the poor as they were. He came to a realization that not everyone were created equal, some are more "lucky" than others. Then suddenly All Might, the number 1 business man, came into his life and grants him the GREATEST company of all time. Deku studied hard to manage and handle the company, while lifting his "social status" at the same time, so he can be the next number 1 business man. Then you realize that the moment Deku was granted the ownership of the company, he just stops caring about inequality nor mentioned it ever again all together. Not saying that he's NOT allowed to change his mind, it was just done in a poor taste. @@Hugo_Tate
You autistic motherFer. They make it clear that these heroes at the top have the ability to change society for the better but choose not to because of societal subsuming greed. They make this painfully clear in the Pain arc. Outcasts bc of some powers being seen as anti-social, class oppression, psychological problems caused by powers, overregulation of powers.
MHA's Worldbuilding just sucks. And this stretch to the world systems, characters' stupidly narrow world of views, apparent lack of strategy at EVERY CORNER, and zero characters' initiatives.
It took only small amount of comparing MHA with JJK, HxH, One Piece, and even Naruto (and that saying a lot)...
Here is how to notice, throw anyone from JJK to MHA and you will notice how stupid MHA's worldviews are
*insert series* sucks because when compared to *insert series* it's lacking.
Wow. With that logic I could say every anime's worldbuilding sucks because One Piece does it insanely well.
@@toongamer2810 thank you exactly what i was thinking
@toongamer2810
Its almost like some series are better written or something.
Almost like people always compare pieces of same media to see which better...
Genuine question, how does mha's worldbuilding suck? I keep hearing this get throw around but I never hear a good reason.
Mha is probably the most well thought out superhero world there is.
It systems make perfect sense to me too. From the fact that you need a license to become a hero.
To the fact that heros are Paid based on how much crime they stop.
And even the help us company, h.u.c, makes sense. The idea of a company comprised of crisis actors specifically designed to train for rescue missions makes sense in a world like mha's
@@papachocolate1677 it sucks because it introduces genuine problems with its world. quirk inequality and people being looked down upon for having a seemingly useless, weird, or no quirk, or something like the mutant movements for people with quirks that morph them into animals or whatever and being discriminated for it, and then does nothing with it. starting off with the mutant movement, they turned spinner into a joke. they turned him into a big bad monster and villainized the mutants who were in the riot to begin with. dont get me wrong, storming a hospital is absolutely terrible, but the series just throws away the problem entirely. the character i wanna focus on is shoji. this guy experienced this discrimination first hand, probably still does, and decides to just not fight at all. he would rather sit there and stay quiet about it, than actually promote change. while yes, the riot was wrong, the people's hearts were in the right place in wanting justice and rights. theres such a thing as peaceful protesting.
now, onto the other one. quirk discrimination is literally never touched on ever again (aside from the previous mutant riots) when the series starts. as soon as deku gets OFA, the plot point is just dropped entirely. never spoken about again, no reprimanding, no change. at the end of the series, we have no clue if these problems are solved or not, because they were never truly resolved to begin with. you dont stop racism in real life by telling everyone to shut up and not talk about it.
and then theres the hero system you brought up. the entire point of the series is how this system sucks, and is the reason people like endeavor and shigi exist. yet it is barely talked about at all. we get a few moments, like touya's reveal, todoroki going to see his mom, etc. but we dont get moments like that for other characters to discuss these issues properly and give them more impact. like lady nagant or hawks. in the end, it feels like no one actually cares about these issues, and again, they never get truly resolved.
the world building sucks because it never actually gives answers to the big questions it asks, never gives solutions to the problems it wants to solve. its letting the reader know these problems exist, and then throwing them in the gutter to be forgotten about until its needed for a filler arc again. and even now, at the end of the series, nothing. sure, we get to see some of these people with better lives, but none of the prior issues are ever brought up, and we are just supposed to assume they were fixed in the last 8 years. its lazy, boring, and downright confusing. the only part of any of this i think was done well, was touya's reveal and Shigi as a character. both of them are very realistic and accurate representations of what this would actually be like, and its a shame that the rest of the series couldnt handle other characters this well.
I think MHA kinda stopped doing what it did best which was making all the characters interesting and developing each one but now all it focuses on is deku, bakugo and shotou not even ochaco
It hardly ever did that. The series was always bad at developing characters outside of the main 3.
Nah cuz except for bakugo and endeavor and probably shigaraki no other character had any big character development like deku is the mc and he's one of the most boring character from the show. It never explained why he wanted to be a hero or why did he want to be the best or even why didn't he give up on being a hero
@@marvel9496 Something else that bugged me from the beginning of the series was why Deku never trained physically if he wanted to be a hero/ go to UA. Like dude knows so much about these heroes and not once did he think “I should improve my physical strength to be a hero”. It made his like training thing with All Might feel less like a training arc to me cus it wasn’t built up properly.
@@LocTran-kr9sd fax or even train himself to be a good fighter. he wanted to be a hero and they never really explained why like what is his reason
@@marvel9496 Also, imo his “saving bakugo scene” was more stupid and reckless than heroic. In fact he probably got in the way of heroes trying to help by being an obstacle in their way. Like you’re telling me the kid who knows so much about heroes thought throwing a bag at a sludge monster would help
Deku not having super intelligence with mech armor, a la Iron Man, would have been much better. Deku coming up with new armors to fight super people would have been more compelling.
And how is he gonna do that is a regular teenager in terms of intelligence towards engineering at least plus where would he get the money or resources plus even if he was able to make them vigilantism is illegal in mha and armour like that can be stolen plus its expensive to maintain unlike a quirk which takes no money to maintain so unless you're a billion hair genius being iron man is just not possible and before you bring up hatsumi she has access to ua's resources plus a quirk thus her making tech isn't illegal.
@@jakariashafin1695 right...I still wonder how Hastume was able to develop her dear "babies" without those millions in her dad's account and that also even before she joined development room in U.A.??
@@harshrai6187 maybe she went to like some special school for that before ua but anyway like I said getting ones hands on such tech is likely hard considering most villains or civilians we see aside from toga I think don't have support gear there's no way izuku can use such tech to be a hero if that were an option izuku would not have been laughed at and bullied for wanting to be a hero and he would be trying to learn how to make support items. Plus even if he got support items they are inferior to a quirk there called support items for a reason they support you with your quirk they don't help you win fights.
Its not about the idea itself, the exexution is the Problem
@@Tabaluca911 your probably right.
It’s nice knowing there's people on the video side of things that recognize the problems brought by Horikoshi’s narrative commitment issues.
At least Chainsaw Man and Code Geass did the whole alternate universe thing a lot better.
Chainsaw man takes place in an alternate earth in the 1997, where the Soviet Union never disbanded, Nazis were never a thing and nukes were never invented because Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil basically devoured those concepts out of existence. Reze, a fan favorite character, is basically from the Soviet Union as she was ordered by the higher ups to kill Denji, the main character and steal his chainsaw devil powers.
Code Geass basically takes places in an alternate timeline where the British won the revolutionary war and renamed both north and South America the Britannian Empire. Europe was renamed the Europa Union and China became the Chinese Federation. These three dominant powers have warred against each other for world dominance while countries like Japan and the Middle East tried to stay neutral.
You're autistic af buddy lol. Britain winning the revolutionary war just means they go back to business as usual. Considering Britain used its naval power to protect America to keep a lock on its resources AFTER the revolutionary war, shit would not be that different. Maybe they would have held off on westward expansion longer bc of the treaty they made with the Natives after Pontiac's Rebellion and a whole bunch of Virginia farmers would've foreclosed on their farms to British banks bc no extra land to sell.
my problem is deku he does not act like a human. he is written to be smart but is to dumb to use super strength correctly even though he knows so much he wrote books filled with every last detail on a ton of hero's. also the story is just ass pull after ass pull. naruto had fox ass pulls but this is trash i droped the show when the writer made the time god kid that i knew would be used for more ass pulls, after a while i came back then saw the writer just gave him powers for no reason. like what you want but a story like this has nothing to offer other than good animation.
How is he supposed to use super strength correctly when he breaks his bones whenever he uses it 😭
@@nikamoreillus661 It took him weeks, if not months, to figure out that putting all your power into focalized parts of your body is bad idea. There's a reason why muscles and bones are distributed evenly and proportionally throughout our entire body, so that we don't fucking collapse. This is the same idea. Or when people used to believe we only use 10% of our mental capacities in total. Yeah, at any given time, because having 100% of our brains on all the time would cause a seizure or a stroke.
@@M4x_P0w3r Wrong
1. He already knew it was a bad idea he just couldn't control the amount of power he could output and putting the power in one part was the only Deku could prevent destroying his whole body. It was later on during the USJ where he found out that he is able to concentrate the amount of power he put into his punches without it destroying his limbs, that's how he was able to master full cowling
And how is he too "dumb" to use super strength correctly?
@@doctordyrroth he breaks his arms. Everybody knows how to pull a punch or hold back like me explaining this to you, and not insulting you. It took him multiple seasons to realize that he can just use less percentage.
8:42 i think you're gonna love the Transformers Cinematic Universe then, as each movie progress the humans become much more knowledgeable about the threats, and more disdainful of the Transformers, to the point of even getting rid of each Transformer, tired of the chaos and damage brough by them and thinking of being capable of defending themselves without Optimus' help, in the fourth movie they literally play god by creating their own Transformers, unfortunately their arrogance backfires terribly...
9:08 there’s literally a comic where the US government cuts off Gotham from the rest of the country called no man’s land. The reason the world doesn’t just bomb Gotham is cause Superman and Batman would stop them
Bro said he had nothing personal against them but then oroceeds to keep making fun of them
23:50 the anger in your voice actually is hilarous because you're so right
13:24 if u read the recent Chapters All Might really becomes the Symbol of Hypocrisy
Like he had this Saying that Deku cannot be a Hero without a Quirk
Now look at All Might with his Wall Mart Iron Man Suitcase
He's literally Contradicting what he told to Deku a Few Seasons ago
Can't say i'm surprised. MHA can't happen but contradict and ignore a lot of things they say even if some some things said never made sense to begin with like with what you said and this is no different.
How on earth can All Might say Deku needs a quirk to be a hero or else "it's to dangerous" even though we have seen guys like Stain be dangerous threats with a quirk that can be easily substituted with poison and the fact that we have seen many heroes and villains with quirks that are unsuited for fighting or have weak combat capabilities? And that's of course not mentioning the advanced technology MHA has similar to other Superhero works like Marvel and DC and science that can augment a body to be much stronger like what we saw with Shigaraki.
I feel like a more logical and better explanation would be something like "kid, the reason why you can't be a pro-hero is that our society focuses entirely on someone's power that defines them as a "hero" and a celebrity one at that, as such no matter how great you become by training your body, learning martial arts and using gadgets and other weapons to defeat villains you will always be seen by a good lot as a "weakling" having no business to upstage the "heroes". Sorry, but it's the truth".
Also i'm REALLY curious as to what Hori plans to do with "Iron Might" because, by god, if he actually managed to defeat AFO, it will be the single most idiotic moment in all of MHA.
@@stefanradebach2889 Bro with all Might pulling that Second Hand Iron Man suit makes me think that the Support Course can become Heroes if they wanted too
Like why are they just limited on just supporting the Heroes if they can become one instead
Like Mha Message as a Whole is only guys with cool powers can become heroes💀
@@geegee2874 Oh god, i pray to all Anime gods that this was NOT made by Support Course students because if a bunch of teenage students can create a power armor suit strong enough to fight against AFO evenly IF NOT outright beat him then why hasn't ANY technological experts created and mass produced them to benefit society greatly and replace a lot of heroes with weak if not outright useless quirks?
It would be the mother of all plot-holes if i ever saw one.
@@stefanradebach2889 I think it's probably David Shield
Since in the Two Heroes movie he actually developed some sort of Quirk Amplifier
That's not hypocrisy bruh,
1. Deku can't obtain something like allmight got that out of his influence, connection, and money, nothing a quirkless middle schooler like Deku has
2. The suit is a one time thing meant to STALL AFO and not even defeat him, it was made for a special ONE TIME occasion and Allmight is only managing to use it to stall AFO cause he already fought AFO and has years of hero experience
3. Allmight didn't even know that type of technology existed (and it probably didn't until recently) until the sports festival arc way after he meant Deku
So when you take those into the situation, Allmight is not a hypocrite
he should of just learned haki cuz everyone with a will and soul...
wait wrong series
MHA is more about ideals in a way, that's the thing I've engraved into myself, and honestly I love it. Just my opinion.
seriously almost every episode bakugo and deku are having a stand off about their morals 😂 i find it entertaining
Here's my personal problem that I think makes for a good discussion, although I stopped reading at manga #9 so I have no idea if they ever addressed it: Is Ochako "heroic"?
One of the big recurring themes in the story I saw was differences in motivations for being a "hero". It's clear that not all of the superhero characters deserve the title of "hero" within the story, and that some of their motivations are selfish or shallow even to a monstrous degree. Heck, the main reason Stain is considered an anti-villain by so many fans in spite of being a bloodthirsty killer is because he believes the title represents something greater than oneself and that too many superheroes are just out for their own glory or celebrity status. And those that are in that category are definitely framed as being lesser in terms of character than those who have more noble or righteous motivations.
In a sense, I kind of feel like all of the students in the school (other than Midorya) are there for the "wrong reasons", although some are worse than others. Some just want a great job out of it. Some are just looking for fame and fortune. Some are even just doing it to get a "date", so to speak.
On that note, consider Ochako. One could say her own motivation is a bit more noble. She wants to be a hero so that she can become rich and famous, and then use that status to support her impoverished family. Ok, wanting to help out your own relatives is always a good thing. And with her particular quirk, society would always have a need for her. There'd be no load she couldn't safely transport to a different site. In a search and rescue mission from a mine or building collapse, she'd be able to clear the rubble in minutes no matter how catastrophic. However, she's aiming for the spot of, quite frankly, a celebrity. Becoming internationally well known and get paid handsomely as a result.
Now, on thinking about this, I wonder exactly how her motivation is all that different...or more noble at least...than someone like Bakugo or Endeavor. Any way you look at it, none of those three have any real interest in saving lives, or in getting into life-or-death struggles with homicidal supervillains out to wreck the city, or risking everything to save the day if it looks like death is a near-certainty. Ultimately, they want the superhero status to work for them. They want it to enhance them and open up more possibilities for them. True, Ochako isn't just looking out for number one...she's at least looking out for other people besides herself. But only those closest to her that she cares about. And that's true for just about anyone. Heck, even Toga, a deranged, perverted, psychopathic serial killer and living parasite, gave up her life for who she saw as a "friend", so you can't really say Ochako's desires even place her at a moral level higher than the villains.
And if you think being motivated by financial stability is sufficient to drive a hero, well...consider the following. Say there's a chemical factory right in front of one person that's blazing like a towering inferno. A person comes up to them and says they'll give them a million dollars if they run through it. Otherwise it will burn to ash. Now say there's another person standing in front of that factory. A different person comes up to them and says if they run through it they'll save their mother's life. Otherwise she'll burn to ash. Which one do you think is more likely to charge into that burning building?
I would be having Izuku like: omg omg omg. What do I do? Should I call another hero? What do I?
Apart from the essential storytelling requirement of having actual worldbuilding, Hori just rushed the story.
MHA started out ok but then it stagnated and it became a cacophony of anime tropes and dragging the story along to the point of absurdity. i dont remember when it happened, but the second i noticed that they were wasting time talking about shit for a couple episodes only to have on maybe 2 episodes of actual plot progress whether through battles or actual plot(not just re-visiting previous episode dialogue) i knew it was done, and now its even worse. on top of that there are some anime tropes in this show that really hold it back as well as a propensity to always tell and not show and when they do show they still fucking talking shit.
edit: also, personally, the word quirk to describe superpowers is so fucking dumb and so obviously created to avoid using the word superpower even tho thats exactly what they are. just edge for edge's sake basically thats how that word feels. "oh its not superpower, its quirk" dont know how many times ive heard that and it just annoys me to no end.
1:32 That is the most hilariously accurate description of Bakugo I've heard in a long time XD
My problem with Izuku/Deku is that he had two modes in the beginning. Optimistic or crying. That's it. And it is fixable and it was fixed in a side story called Boku no Academia Smash. Now this wasn't some weird pervy thing. Rather, it was a collection of comic strips that filled the gaps in the main story. And boy did chapter 70 of that deliver. In it, Deku finds his old diary and it's pure gold. Aparently, not only Deku would like to send Bakugou a box of spiders by mail order, but also "rip his legs off his body" for ripping up an ultra-rare All Might card and "finally end his obnoxious life" after Bakugou punched him. In short, acknowledge that Bakugou was Deku's bully and introduce Deku's dark side. Not the emo crap that was the Vigilante Deku, but genuine dark thoughts, the kind that would give even the League of Villains pause. It would make Deku more well-rounded and it would be interesting to know that behind the veneer of heroism, some part of Deku is just as vengeful and petty as the rest of society.
Also, I would've liked Deku to have said "no" to the offer of One for All and All Might still training and supporting Deku regardless.
Because I don't know about what other people think, but All Might giving One for All to a quirkless kid is a) reinforcing the stereotype that you need a quirk to be a hero and b) is shady as all shit when you remember that All Might exposed himself as a hypocrite when he shot down Deku's dream and crushed his spirit and only offered One for All when Deku was at his lowest, his dreams in shambles. Was I the only one thinking upon rewatch that if it were All for One offering the same deal to Deku aka a quirk for becoming a hero, people would be disgusted instead of 'oh, now he can be a hero'.
Also, it's kinda All Might's fault that Deku's bones keep breaking. One for All is a generational stockpile quirk that becomes stronger with each generation. Now, all other wielders died young by All for One's hands, not causing too much damage. But All Might was a hero for how long? And he was an _active_ hero. Can you begin to imagine how much strength All Might contributed to that quirk. Is it a wonder that Deku's bones break when using it?
Also, MHA wasted their scariest villain by making him a thief in the beginning of the story (I'll give you a hint. The name rhymes with Fudge Fillin'). A literal eldritch abomination that could have been used as commentary on mutant quirk difficulties, but no. He's taken to the police like yesterday's trash.
In short, MHA can be fixed, but you'd need to gut the whole manga/anime and rearrange its entrails to do it.
My issue with midoriya is that he refuses to work with others or stand the fuk down when he’s a hindrance in plans
Refusal to work with others? what are you talking about? That’s bakugo thing
I am not gonna lie when I said I actually got into this anime it being something interesting after I just got out of high school myself and being unable to find an anime to scratch that school itch I had since graduating I quite enjoyed the series but in recent times I actually grown kinda tired of it. I don’t know if it was the super heavy elements forming over time or if it was the heavy handed war arc we just went through I just found a lot of it pretty much becoming stale
I’m not saying this story is a work of art but I do think it’s is legitimately good. The characters themselves are vehicles for the themes of the story. The actions of selfless people and the heart ache that can cause the individual and the result it may have in society. I think that they explore heroism quite well and what it means to be selfless
I don't think they captured heroism all that well. It's really reckless in this show, and not even borderline but full on self destructive. Almight literally works himself to near death because he has a mantle to hold. Passes the mantel to a literal child who breaks his body on multiple occasions to do so. Heck the first instance of a 'heroic' act in MHA was a quirkless, untrained and reckless kid running into danger knowing full well he's about to die, to attempt something incredibly fruitless. Thats not heroic that's just dumb. Now if Deku had an actual plan, and used his brains in that moment to actually help Bakugo there would have even a huge difference to the moral of that story.
Also this nebulous idea of the symbol of peace is challenged so many times but instead of actually deconstructing it in a meaningful way, Deku just takes the mantel without questioning it. I genuinely think the world building and characters in this needs to be rewritten for it to work. At least this is my opinion on the anime. Others might think differently
The plot of the story just contradicts itself at every point. The MHA world isn’t built fair cuz of quirks and deku is considered weak but then boom, he gets ofa. Shigaraki’s character concept was so good, he’s smart, manipulative, has the trauma and drive to be a great villain. He’s a great planner but then when it comes to the final war when all the stakes are high, it’s more slow paced and he’s still petty. Like he’s smarter than that. He wants to rule the world and writing him as still being petty with no growth is stupid. Yes he has growth physically and in his combat strategies but as a character, like he should only be getting smarter after everything he did. Also bakugo said smt about how he bullied izuku cuz he was insecure izuku would be a better hero. That is a big fat LIE. Their middle school years, izuku had no quirk and everyone knew u can’t be a hero without a quirk. And telling someone to jump off a roof isn’t insecurity, it’s straight up bullying. Bakugo’s character growth is good but that was just a big fat lie. Also, the beginning of the series, izuku wanted to be the first hero without a quirk, and then that idea was just left behind. He gets ofa and is strong yet also weak cuz he can’t control it. It’s all a mess. Yet somehow he faces one of the strongest villains of all time with a quirk he’s only had for a few months and was destroying his body??? How can Horikoshi start one way then go the other halfway like my man 😭 honestly the anime would’ve been better if izuku never got ofa and he actually proved the point he made at the start. Like maybe he uses his note taking skills to help the heroes improve or reveal the villains weaknesses. He could’ve worked in the police force cuz they do missions with heroes all the time. That would’ve also earned him more respect than getting a awesome quirk but being a dumbass when it comes to using it. Honestly feel like Dabi was the only character written and executed perfectly. Shigaraki was also written so well but executed horribly. Bakugo’s character does show growth but his actions and words often contradict
hey man good video, nice editing, I'm straight up going to watch the next part
Huh, I never knew Midoriya was autistic. The intro had be rolling on the floor laughing! MHA explained in a nutshell!
Personally I thing getting a quirk ruined it but in my opinion it is also dekus character and whatever his costume is. I hate his character because he seems like a nice character but he has no motivation and doesn't care what happens to villans but doesn't have a grudge against any of them ether. Also everyone is his friends and likes him man even some villans (toga)
Bakugo, being a total asshole is what make him so interesting and different. Even the anti hero types always have this softer side. Bakugo is totally unhinged, that is a refreshing and unique take. Best thing of MHA by far. Also using reality to compare with fiction doesn't make sense. Characters in MHA often take hits that should end them yet they don't. I'm sure that if Deku took the explosion, he would survive or just be out.
Nice editing I’m only a bit in and I’m ready to watch the rest
12 minutes to sleep, 10 minutes to cry over a fanfic and 3 minutes talking about the great issue
I feel like it would’ve been a better if Deku got OFA a bit later in the story.
Drinking game, whenever he brings up a good point take a shot! Whenever he says a slur, take another shot!
probably not a very...scientific opinion but I fell off after the villian hunt ark. Because at that point Dabi was the most interesting character in the show, and then I thought the vilian hunt was pretty stupid (I cannot stand vilian turn fake-outs) and Dabi wasn't back in the next few chapters into the next arc so I got mad and stopped reading.
This might sound like i add to my own series but i cannot find the name that i really want my night academia or my monster academia this is just a fan thing i don't really care but i do not want the fan base to be bad
There were about 30 people in his class, so there should be 6 quirkless students in class, which is 20% of the society. Somehow you’re telling me there’s only Deku who’s quirkless???🤔 Sounds like the writer REALLY stretching this underdog narrative.
WTF BRO
I’m pretty sure most of the quirkless people are older and are decreasing every generation
why are there so many sudden loud noises in this video
Good stuff, intro was too long tho
Not me trying to find the ispy remix at 6:08
While I have big issues with MHA in its later arcs until the present, I have to disagree with your way of criticism. First, it just seems like splitting hairs and then overall proposing a completely new storyline from episode 2. Mate, there are a MILLION of different possibilities and stories that can be made up from even episode 1. The point is that if you're gonna watch or read a story, you're supposed to at least embrace the initial premises presented, not criticize the first few episodes and think it could have been done better. Literally ANY story in the whole world can be done better in as many variations as there are people who criticize it and think they could do better.
I'm up for this show being criticized, but your critique just seems like a reach, like how cinemasins does it.
6:08 what song is this
I very much doubt he’s autistic. It’s kinda weird how everyone’s always like “Oh they act weird, they must be on the spectrum”, like buddy that’s not how the spectrum works.
A Rtard is a Rtard 😂
this video just proves the series gets better, deku's crying the, the plot holes, bakugo's temper, all of these complaints are gone or toned down as the story goes. idk why its expected to be perfect every episode.
New the sins of anime series??
Perhaps
why does everyone want him to be iron man? if thats what you want go somewhere else. its like asking for steak at mc donalds

Deku is basically me when im 3
You had to try to change a society that hates heroes too?.!?!
@@AgentNero9 yeah no shit, im kinda fucked in the head back then
At this point I just see the mha have problems vid and it feels like a trend more than actually talking about the anime as a whole, yikes but whateves nice video ig
THATS WHAT IM SAYING. It seems more popular to just crap on MHA because everyone else is doing it, repeating the same barebones arguments that don't hold up when contested for more than a second.
7:13 oh look who it is 😅
So underrated
I know its shit but i still the love the concept
Why didn’t you write the story? So much better.
The show has good parts, but things could have been written better
Naruto?

Mha is mid but it’s good to watch while drawing or to kill time

@@Scott-xb1ku I know it is, I don’t watch anime 😂

Im glad Mha is ending soon. That shit has over 400+ chapters. The fandom is braindead and cringe and the stupid glazers will be sleeping one night and randomly remember this phase of their life and feel embarrassed they considered this "peak" and wasted hours of their lives watching such a anticlimatic and mid anime when its finished.
Deku's the kind of guy that in any other story, from any other time period, would have been the very first to get his head smashed by a rock.
Now, they've taken the butt of the joke character and made him the main attraction.
Good art, good concept...bad writing.

Omg, its almost like anime isn't a good platform for actual storytelling
Animation is SUCH a good storytelling medium, what?
@@Malevolent_Maya I said anime not animation, and sorry to tell you but even it's not "SUCH" a good medium for story telling, and if you still don't believe me then go pick up a book
@miniozzy2841 Anime is literally just the Japanese term for animation. Animation as a medium allows a lot of mobility that other mediums don't offer. They have a soundtrack, voice acting, and innate visuals. Books leave a lot up to the imagination, which can be hard when someone does not have an imaginative mind, has issues with motivation for reading, and when the author is unclear in text. A lot of issues with dialogue in a story can be fixed with tone alone which is what makes voice acting so valuable. Plus, there is also the fact that animation can inspire your imagination much more than words on a page can. Books have advantages as well and are good storytelling mediums. There's a reason they have stuck around for so long, but that isn't a reason to discredit other mediums. Animation brings a lot to the table that covers any weaknesses a book would have while books do the same for animation. Discrediting either because your favorite is something else is really weird
@@Malevolent_Maya you say that there aren't other forms of medium that do that all without animations, as a professional script writer and scene analyst I've studied similar and apposite mediums and found that the more convincing mediums of story telling is through books as the are often the things most adapted to film for the less "imaginative" to enjoy, but mostly for those are unmotivated to read, and I am aware that anime is a Japanese term for animation as not only do I speak the language, that is actually where I am from before I moved to the us for college, but in this context anime in itself is it's on subgenre for animation as anime itself doesn't make up the majority of animation so assuming that I'm targeting animation in it's entirety be talking about one of it's subgenre is ignorant, further more there are way too many anime the cycle through the same story choreography that it actually detours people away from the subgenre entirely, there's a shockingly low amount of anime that actually breaks the cycle and comes up with something new like Ponyo or flips the cycle on its head in a clever parody like One Punch Man where we see the hero at the end of his journey and most of the story is being told through the perspectives of those around him, and I have seen non-anime animations that do tend to have better storytelling as most of them atleast have something to say which something that should really resonate with the audience, and this is actually something most commonly found in books than anything else, and sorry to tell you but no, books are not my favorite medium, so don't say that I'm playing favorites when I'm really not, and trying to make this a personal issue rather than studied facts you would only discredit yourself as you would then have no proper ground to debate on
@miniozzy2841 The only thing that would unite anime as a subgenre rather than just a synonym for animation would be the similar art, but even then there are so many differences across it. There are different themes, different genres, etc. They don't have a uniting detail unless you wanna say created within Japanese Culture. I will say I'm not qualified to talk deeper on books as I have a special little thing going on that makes me have issues with the medium. Aphantasia, I can't picture things period. So I do not have the full book experience available to me, however I can say that different mediums work better for different stories. Your preferred Genre may simply be worse in animated form than in other forms
1st all the way back in the Sports Festival is where the series starts fallin short of it’s POTENTIAL(i.e. the execution/exploration/action could’ve been better)->from there until the Pro-Hero arc the series, tho not perfect n could’ve been better in a multitude of ways,is still great shonen if u ask me->after dat it derails into a messy shonen, with GREAT moments, but an absolutely unhinged n malnourished narrative, similar to black clover overall.
You calling anyone autistic is projection lol.
Lowkey you right 👍
ohh my god i thought MHA was mid but it is far worse
It's pretty bad rn. The final war arc is the biggest shit show ive ever read in shonen.
