Hey 89. Someone told me that since i plan to play MST and i liked valkyria chronicles 4, that i should buy/try XCOM 2. just wondering if you"ve played it and whats your take on it.
I like it. I haven't played XCOM 2 that much but I did pick it up on a sale for my switch a while back. I did however play quite a bit of the first XCOM on Xbox back in the day. XCOM 2 might be something you'd enjoy as it is very tactical with various upgrades/ weapons and such to build units and your team as you progress through the game. It goes on sale pretty often on the eShop for like 8 bucks, so if you're looking for something new to try, I'd grab it on sale and worst case scenario you're only out $8.
@89Games i'll mull it over. I just thought i'd buy in advance since its on sale. I did read though that alot of people complained on switch of crashes, slow load times and some abilities not working (like squadsight). Did you experience any of these?
@TheRobversion1 not that I can remember though, like I said, I didn't play it a whole lot. Maybe look up the patch notes for it and see if the issues have been fixed too. A lot of switch games get patched after launch and no one goes back and updates old reviews.
@89Games oks. I'll check it out. So far though nothing excites me aside from MST. Just waiting on the physical copy. Just slowly trudging through fell seal for now. Still not hooked. Squeezing in some gloomhaven buttons and bugs tabletop gaming in as well. other trpg suggestions made to me wer the mercenaries series and banner of the maid. Have you played those?
@@89Games thats good to hear as i enjoyed CARDS. that also justifies my ranking as i had MST 3rd in 2024: 1. unicorn overlord 2. sword of convallaria 3. metal slug tactics 4. CARDS RPG dunno who to put at #5.
Lovely content ❤

King in 2024? Absolutely not. That title belongs to GOTY snub unicorn overlord.
Touche, I honestly forgot it's still the same year, lol
@@89Games i think though MST is arguably the 3rd best trpg released this year. based on your experience, how did it compare to CARDS?
@TheRobversion1 I prefer MST to cards. I really like the movement based gameplay and how the game rewards you for mastering it.
