Thank you so much for these instructions. After the first 2.5 minutes I was able to correct the cut of an ornament I received that didn't go right! Thanks again!
Thanks Rich. Once again increasing my knowledge with you sharing yours. Not sure how much time you just saved me but I'm sure you added plenty thanks again, Papa D
If the kerf offset value in the cut settings editor is not zero removing overlapping cut lines does not work. Look preview and zoom in. I have no solution for this problem. Thanks for inspiring me!
This has nothing to do with this video but i figured you'd likely see my comment here first. I know you did a video on kerf and i understand kerf if you are using one shape to fit inside of another. But i don't understand how to account for kerf when you have multiple different shapes inside one shape. For example, if you have a square and you fill the square with circles, triangle, hexagons.... and they all overlap with them being different colors. Like 2 circles, 1 blue and 1 yellow, and the overlap is green. I've never seen anyone explain this. Look up TH-cam channel, Mindflower. See shows herself putting it together but doesn't show the process.
I hope this clears up all the questions on doing a relief fill. *Thanks for watching!*
Can you use the docking function when using kerf offset and docking for example on a tab?
Hi, I'm watching from Portugal I had to say that I like very much your videos thanks a lot 😊 I'm new in laser thing 😅 .

Thanks for the information. Going to save video for when I get lightburn:) I want to try to make the coins cards for my bakery.
Have fun with it Gwen!
A good example would be puzzles.
Anytime you have multiple cut shapes. Just dock them.
You mentioned using all the other layers for different shades of gray. Could you explain what you meant. Thanks
Exactly that. Different speeds and powers produce different shades of gray.
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy Thanks for the reply. Maybe one day you can do a video of a use case of that technique.
I have multiple cuts where i can use the duplicate line idea
Awesome! 👍 Thanks for watching!

That is correct. You cannot use a kerf offset when removing overlapping lines.
Great video as always. I am in your FB group. I want to know if you have made any video making a coin ? I am a visual person
I made a video on making a wooden coin: th-cam.com/video/hCLEQEAjMw4/w-d-xo.html

Kerf is kerf, no matter how many shapes there are.
