Welcome back you've been missed for sure I'm hooked on your deep dive reviews and unpredictable though highly merit based comics you always select ! I pre-ordered everything I could in graphic novel form for the future and the comics issues I always wait until enough pile up to merit a soft or hardcover release I'll just say your Ice Cream Man recommendation blew me away it's too top shelf from Image two hardcovers from Image BRILLIANT!!!!!
Great list of books! I am really enjoying the One Hand/Six Fingers book. Great perspectives from both main characters and the art has been great in both books.
Awesome, love to hear you're digging both series. Campbell was born to draw noir, he was also great on the series Old Haunts from AWA a few years ago. Thanks for checking out the video!
Yep! It also started over a year ago, I'm talking about the two series that just launched. I've heard good things about Local Man but haven't read it myself. Have you checked it out yet?
@@bunkmastab I'm not into the initial Image titles which it homages and 'honours' however I do enjoy it a lot. Not "calling you out", just adding it in if you didn't know of it.
Thanks for the heads up, I think the software I use for editing doesn't play the video preview volumes the same levels at the output. I've been trying to find the right level but looks like I need to keep working on it. Was there a particular section of the video you noticed the music covering up my words?
This is a stellar list, and while you believe you might be hedging your bets on Uncanny Valley, it really has been stellar thus far! Thank you for continuing to share and for being the amazing person you are!
Those all came from an Ovani music library of music assets meant for video games. The horror themed songs (like the one playing for Beneath The Trees) are especially good
Great list, only one not on my radar was Ministry of Compliance! I’ve only read the first issues of the other series but really dug them all. I forget, have you checked out any of the other Energon Universe titles? Duke just wrapped up and it was phenomenal! Cobra Commander has been fun but hasn’t wowed me quite like Duke did!
CARL! What's up, buddy? Of course you know about all of these, you've got great taste. I've read a few of the other Energon titles, specifically Duke after you raved about Reilly's art so highly. Checked out the first issue of Cobra Commander and didn't really do it for me, think I'm waiting on the rest of the GI Joe titles until they hit trade at this point. I have high hopes for Kelly Thompson's Scarlet!
I read the first two Hardcover collections of the current IDW run, they were pretty good. I'm interested to go back and check out the Sophie Campbell run at some point, but I've got the Jason Aaron relaunch already pre-ordered. Joelle Jones, Rafa Albuquerque, AND Cliff Chiang?! That is an amazing list to kick it off!
@@bunkmastab I just got into comics and all of the different tmnt runs have me in a chokehold. I’ve been reading The untold destiny of the foot clan recently.
@@qungun nice! Haven't made it to Untold Destiny but Secret History of the Foot Clan was a lot of fun, really like when they go back and give backstory to those characters

Bunk always making me want to collect single issues again!!!!!
I've seen those shorts, I know how many you've already got. Trades should be coming out soon on these
Fleecs is also working on Local Man.

Great recommendations, but watch the volume of the backing music, which can compete with your voice.

Yes, from 7:13 the music volume increases. I'm listening through my Samsung phone speakers.
@@con_doorman thank you, this is really helpful. I'll check that out in the original video file and hopefully future videos won't have this problem

Ha! She actually just left on a trip today, don't think she knows about this video. Maybe she'll check it out when she gets back.
The volume seems very low hard to hear
Thanks for the heads up. Was there a particular part of the video or was it throughout?
@@bunkmastab throughout
To be clear the volume is low when playing on tv on mobile its fine when listening via earphones
